demanding change to the rs death system!!!!!!
When they say 'you will keep your most valuable item', it is a bit misleading. But keepability (a new word, use it as you please) is a quality of the item which in turn influences it's price, not the other way around. You can easily find out what you will lose upon death by selecting the relevant window, it is ultimately your fault if you take an item into an area which you are not willing to lose.

the opposite of what was expected?
The D Plate graph a typical example for the prices of a newly released hyped up item. It rises very quickly, then when the hype dies down the price plummets. The D chain price has a reciprocal relationship the D plate price as they compete to serve the same function. People ditched the d chain, as was predicted, to get a d plate, then when they realised that they were paying too much for something which was not much better in it's purpose (i.e. good looks), they went back to the d chain because it's cheaper.

Sailing: From Banner to Reality?
Sailing (or equivalent, I personally prefer Seafaring) is a perfectly plausible idea for a new skill, but that doesn't mean it's going to be released any time soon. The highscore picture was shown to be a poor-quality fake, and ever since then people immediately think when they see a boat they somehow conclude that it's a teaser for a new skill. P.S. I can't wait until they release the UnCooking skill.

do U consider being called noob offensive?
It is offensive language, as in aggressive and provoking, but it doesn't offend me. The problem is that if it's censored, a potentially more insulting and inappropriate equivalent may come in to supply the demand. Right now, the standard basic insult is (EDIT: mostly) harmless, and that's the best you're going to get in a game where there is no age/maturity restriction.

~~Newer Bank Of Runescape~~ **Updated again 05/15/09**
It's better, but it could be even better. Banks naturally dissolve back into chaos over time if you're not really careful with your item placement every time you deposit/withdraw an item. Locking would prevent this from happening.

Slayer "Partys" - More interactions with each other. :-)
Yeah, those kinds of puzzles in which you need more than one player to complete. I'd love to see a lot more of them.

Weekly Poll: What web browser do you use?
Strange, why is Google Chrome not an option? It would be interesting to compare Firefox to Chrome. Anyway, for that reason, I voted 'other'.

I'm SICK of junk traders, you should be too
Don't attack the symptoms, even it it is tempting, attack the disease that's causing it. For a lot of items, the GE does not reflect how platers value an item. Jagex makes an item then invents a price for it, which certainly goes to show that the GE is not player controlled.

Dragon plate vs Barrows plate
I'm afraid Dragon is now merely for show right now. It's sad when things like that happen, but if they bring in some kind of set effect when you get full dragon (Full Helm, Plate, Legs/Skirt, Boots, RFD gloves, Kite, any weapon), when they do finish off the set, they could bump it back into being the armour to have in combat as well as looking awesome. It should compare well stat-wise against barrows, as a much more expensive alternative which won't degrade.

players complaints on combat traingle unequality
But a style is defined by the method of attack, the weapon, not the armour, neither should the skills which relate to a style which the player is not using. A guy with a godsword and black dragonhide is still a meleer, even if he has 99 ranged. I have no problem with people hybridising with weapons, you should get an advantage because you're changing styles according to your opponent's style, but armour only follows the style. It doesn't dictate it. If mages could annihilate meleers, it wouldn't make them overpowered in the slightest, it would just serve it's function well. If they could annihilate rangers, that would be a different problem. But the crucial difference is that a meleer with a godsword, black dragonhide and a half-decent level in magic can destroy a mage in a matter of seconds due to the mage's lack of defence against powerful melee weapons. So we get this: Solution 1: Give robes a significant melee defence but keep their ranged defence to a minimum. Unfortunately, this is a bit unrealistic as far as robes go, and melee weapons will probably still do too much damage. Solution 2: Very accurate close-combat knockback spells.

Slayer "Partys" - More interactions with each other. :-)
I would really appreciate things like this. 'SlayerShare', linked to the clan chat, would be great, but you'll have to negate the task blacklist system unless all the players have selected the same monster. There is no need for shared xp, that should be a personal endeavour, but it would be great to share the products of gathering (and maybe processing?) skills in a similar manner as LootShare and CoinShare does for combat skills. What I think is best of all is Party Questing, I'd love a quest where you can to work as, for example, a four man team to solve puzzles and kill monsters and do whatever questers do nowadays. Maybe some quests should change slightly if you use a team of varying size, with harder monsters and co-operation puzzles.

Player Owned Stalls
Boiling it down, you would get the same result, or possibly a better one, if you just extended the number of slots available at the GE. 75 is unmanageable for a single player, I reckon 9 is a better number, and give 4 to f2pers.

Stars
He's a picture of the Moon/Venus/Jupiter conjunction, forming a smiley face, taken in Thailand. It's so awesome when things like that happen in the sky, it's amazing how beautiful the world we live in really is. And the more we explore it, the more beautiful and mesmerising it becomes.

How much longer until the next great cape?
Add in a special effect when you collect the set and you're sorted. Think dragon, think fire, think rampage.

Eastern Lands hint? [BTS Exerpt][Discussion]
Sailing skill  Nah, probably not Sailing, although there always is a possibility... It would be nice if the Eastern lands became like a new "mainland" instead of a new island :) I'd like that. It would be good if there was no land connection between the two continents. The shape of the Morytanian coast suggests it doesn't go much further east than the Sanguinesti Region. If it does that, then there should be a stretch of the Eastern Ocean and finally you get to the Eastern Lands. But, personally, I think that should start finishing off some of the 'black zones' before they start making another continent. Finish off the Jungle Hunting area, the Woodland Hunting area, the square east of Trollweiss Mountain, the eastern and southern coast of the Kharidian Desert, and the rest of Morytania. It can't be that hard to finish these areas off, they don't have to be part of a specific quest or anything, quite a few popular areas aren't. Just make them into some new hunting areas or fishing areas or woodland.

How much longer until the next great cape?
Hopefully never. They should just make capes which are on average similar to fire capes/skillcapes in power but have different properties, such as a special effect but lower stats, or a defence focused cape. Things like that which don't render the capes we have now obsolete, just less useful in some situations, and more useful in others.

If you HAD to be on one Reality show...
Does QI or Have I Got News For You count as reality? Not really, but I would love to be on either of those shows. Stephen Fry is a genius, and Ian Hislop is awesome. \ If I had to be on a reality show... it would be fun to go on 'I'm a celebrity, get me out of here!', as long as I don't get the eating trial. I mean, seriously, they are not going to make me to eat kangaroo's jacobs. :ohnoes:

The Next Achievement Diary: Falador + Freminnik in December!
Personally, I wear my gold Explorers Ring almost everywhere I go. I don't want to go through the effort of recharging glories when I could perfectly well whip out the ring. If I want to go somewhere remote quickly, and realise I'm out of run energy, I'll do a quick recharge. It's not that effective compared to other methods, but it's effective enough to get you out of a jam if you want to get somewhere on a one-off quickly. I wonder what these White Lilies will do? They sound deceptively useless.

So supposedly Player Mods have to report federal crimes?
They don't have any legal obligation to report it, (most PMods are not police in real life and if they were they would be off-duty if they were playing RS) I expect it was more of a scare tactic than anything. I bet that they just didn't want to give off the image that they support that kind of behaviour.

Behind the Scenes December
We got a good batch this month. More hairstyles are always welcome, two more Achievement Diaries are even more welcome (kudos to Jagex for realising how great the Diaries are). But best of all, we got RS en français! New languages are always a step in the right direction for a game which prides itself on accessibility. I recently dropped French at school, but I'd be willing to play on the new servers to get it back up to a reasonable level.

Tormend Wraith - Summon Familiars Getting "Stopped"?
I imagine that's on purpose. Your familiar isn't wearing black armour therefore it can't attack.

The Sig Rating Game
8/10. I like how it changes each time, and they're great pictures, but I reckon they could be better with some well placed quotes.
