Arcane Spirit Shield
It has huge melee defence bonuses on it as well, that's why it has a defence requirement. After all, it is still a shield. If you have enough money that would otherwise just sit in your bank, buy it.

[Please Lock] I ate a piece of glass....
I'm actually tempted to grind up some glass and eat it... Who said that you should grind it up? Real OTers eat it whole.

HEROES SPOILER!!
Umm... how did Future Hiro come back in time and change the future early in the show. Or Future Peter with this season. Wth happened to that guy? Uh, they were both killed. Or, wait, did Future Peter have Claire's invulnerability? I don't think so.Arthur took them, aye? Yeah... but if he took his invulnerability, why didn't he take everything else? EDITED EDIT - Well [cabbage]. Maury got killed pretty quick. I was hoping for some psychic showdown or something. So that's no more Lindermann as well, huh? EDITED EDIT OF AN EDIT - Couldn't Elle kill Claire by shorting out the electrical impulses in her mind/screwing with her heart? He did.Peter's a normal human now,as far as I remember. I know  I think Adam said the only way to kill him is to remove the head,so thats what I'm thinking applies to Claire. Sylar vs Arthur would be awesome tbh. Actually I think you have to destroy the brain. It's taking it to the extreme, but I bet that if you simply decapitate her, the rest of the body might regrow out of the neck. Alternatively, introduce Claire to the Haitian/Arthur and use any method of killing you like.

Does "Skiller" really mean no combat?
Think about it this way: A 'Pure' is an account which has been purposely trained to that it has some skills raised to a desired level and others purposely not raised. A 'Skiller' is an account which has raised non-combat skills, but may or may not have raised combat skills. A 'Pure Skiller' combines the two definitions, and means an account that has been purposely trained so that it has only non-combat skills.

jagex doesn't like pures...
Jagex doesn't cater to pures (although that doesn't mean that they don't like them) because they are the result of the weak combat level system personified. They see them as something which should be fixed but nobody knows how to. In an ideal world, pures shouldn't have any advantage over a balanced player of the same level and combat style, but such a dynamic game (with new armour, weapons, and spells flying everywhere) would be impossible to balance perfectly and provide a universal numerical standard.

Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross offend people
Lol? Compared to some things JC comes out with, that one's tame. People should realise that it won't work unless what the person says is actually properly offensive.

Existence
The cogito tells us that thoughts of some kind must exist, but it offers no insight into the existence of external objects. I could perceive a chair in Reb's room, but although I feel certain beyond reasonable doubt that what I am perceiving is a chair (and there must be some thought which represents the sensory image of a chair floating about somewhere), it does not prove that the chair itself as a physical object beyond human perception exists. But that's what we have to live with while we're stuck behind the impenetrable veil of perception, we simply can't look outside our own bodies. Just be thankful that what appeared to us to be a chair also gives us the sensation of solidity when we sit on it.

RuneScape Google Earth?
The map of Gielinor is intended to eventually be spherical, but the only known parts of the map are the equivalent of a continent on Earth, so for now we can play it safe with a 2D image. This could be a really good idea if you can get the images to fit perfectly, but I don't know if you can with uneven terrain.

150
I don't think Jagex will draw much significance from the number 150, I think they'll just reserve the numbers 100n for major quests, and just give a mention of the number when the release the 150th quest, but won't beef it up because of that number.

A new Skill jagex has made. Reaping?
Awww, I was going to post a faceplam on here.. -.- You beat me to it... Same. There should really be a facepalm smiley so we don't have to post the picture. Seriously, I think that people at Jagex are reading this thread and rofling.

Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross offend people
Yeah, it's another case of story overmilking, but it is a valid argument. Why are we really paying £18M to a person who does that then broadcasts it to the world?

Consequences From Tonsil Removal
Agreed. Eating glass is a bad idea soon after a tonsillectomy, even if you are really bored, which I'm sure is a great possibility when you can't speak to other people. I've never had my tonsils removed, and don't plan to. I get tonsillitis, but very very infrequently, so it's not worth the hassle.

Magic, more of a secondary?
I don't think they intended this to happen, it's just that they've ignored the basics of the skill as a PvP combat style. When any game company establishes some kind of combat style system (in this case, the combat triangle) in a game which revolves mostly around combat based activities they must maintain this system, no matter what. Jagex has almost failed here, and if it wasn't for the spells that you listed above, and very few others, it would be less of a combat triangle and more like a combat foodchain, and then there'll just be a dominant class, melee. Magic must not be a secondary backup skill, it should function just as well as melee and ranged with just as much variety of tactics.

New stuff for the free players from time to time
F2p has already received a bucketload of updates (including a quest, plenty of items and weapons to rival members' weapons) this year. Why need to suggest something that is already happening?

A request of friends [all 10 threads found]
Trapical, those threads were truly inspiring, especially the 10th post 'Revelations', it seriously struck a chord with me, as I'm looking at my first steps into further education and questioned what I'm truly achieving, and that thread answered quite a lot of questions for me. It's not about the money, it's about making a positive mark on others. And I'll tell you something, those threads have achieved precisely that. Well done Trapical, and enjoy the rest of your life too! =D>

Reveal Confessions, Secrets & Regrets...
Wow, my first one was around 10 or 11. Me and my mates stole a video from my friend's parents' room, watched it all, then quietly put it back. It was awesome.

Quantum of Solace
I say it the day before yesterday (but not in a suit), and I give it 7/10. Overall, it wasn't a bad one, but it certainly wasn't as good as Casino Royale.

[Please Lock] I ate a piece of glass....
*Jumps upon bandwagon* But really, glass ain't that bad.I've eaten plastic and swallowed a bit of black (gun) powder.I can never enter the fire eating industry now,eh? That would actually make a very interesting scientific experiment. Volunteers, please? Come to think of it, I have eaten several rubbers and half a clear plastic pencilcase over the years, as well as probably enough paper to fold 1000 origami cranes, when I was bored, but never glass. I mean, sheesh. Please clarify if by "rubbers" you mean erasers or condoms, so I can know whether to be disgusted or not. Oh god no! :o I mean erasers.

Level 3 Clues - Too Much for Too Little?
I think they really need to start scrapping some of the low-value rewards, especially gilded furniture and crossbows.

13yr old sent home for dressing as jesus
Not sure why people would get offended by this. It's not like making images of Jesus is forbidden by Christianity. If it was Mohammed or something, that would be a different matter.

You ate a piece of glass. Let me say that again. You ate a piece of glass. What. The. Hell. How big was it? Did you crunch it up? What did it taste like?

Tip.It Times Presents: Nowhere to Build but Up...
Increasing the level cap would be a very bad option, even if it is a tempting solution. It is difficult enough to get level 99 in a combat skill, raising the cap would make the game into much more of a grind that it needs to be. No, I think that player tactics needs to come more into play than simply getting a Ultra-Super-Double-Plus-Platinum-Diamond-Serrated-Great-Blade of Incredible-Godlike-Awesomo-Victory and blasting your opponent, as well as the local galaxy, into a black hole.

Magic, more of a secondary?
It's still very possible to take a mage down wearing even that if you use a Godsword and some good dragonhide. Besides, you've then destroyed the advantage rangers should have over mages. No, we should reinforce the original plan (http://www.runescape.com/kbase/viewarticle.ws?article_id=1702) for the combat triangle, make it near impossible to get into close combat with a skilled mage. Jagex has forgotten that what defines the corners of the triangle is not the armour/robes, but the weapons. Negate the weapons, negate the combat style. Once we get rid of the threat meleers pose against mages, using either my suggestion or another with the same result, there would be no need to alter the stats for dragonhide, only rangers would ever use it because that's the only style it would ever be useful for.
