  1. Saradomin Sword is the best xp wise, but I like the extra defence bonus from using a defender with a dragon scimmy.
  2. Interesting, ashes are just below there bone equivalents. Not exactly sure I get what the urns do. Collect experience sort of like a forager with xp?
  3. Well heres what I cannon and mage. Cannon: Abby Spectres and Dagganoths. Mage: Abby Demons, Greater Demons, Hellhounds, Iron Dragons, Steel Dragons, Nechryaels and possibly Tzharr because of the safe spots.
  4. I just made the comment on the video about the people being stupid going anywhere near the wilderness with their best items etc. The lures' must have a conscience though. It's only a game, but when you rob a fellow player of items they have worked hours and hours for, for your own benefit, then guilt must surely creep in.
  5. In my personal opinion they are a great task. Yes, they are not great xp, and you have to wear desert robes w/ waterskins or humidify, but the drops make up for that. I usually get 600k in drops per task (things like pure essence, potato cactus etc), and then you can also get Focus Sights from them which are 300k at the moment (although they were over 1 mil the last time I did a task).
  6. Smithing gold with goldsmithing gauntlets isn't too bad. I went from 60-70 smithing with this method. It will probably be around 5k gold ore, but it shouldn't take more than maybe 5 hours. Another option is to superheat the ores. This requires more clicking, but you get the same smithing xp and magic xp on top of that.
  7. D Bones are going down, I had a few to sell today and I couldn't even sell at mid price.
  8. I use mine one Prayer, I can save something like 250k onwards from one lamp. Summoning, Herblore and Construction are good aswell.
  9. Thanks for the tips! I'll be sure to use them next Wednesday, and hopefully I can get a Ringmaster hat :)
  10. I've been trying to raise my circus performance level to 1200+ so that I can get a Ringmaster's Hat to go with my skilling outfit. I used to go for xp, and doing this would net me a rating anywhere from 600 - 900. So, after reading on RSWiki about how to improve my rating, I tried doing the spells/actions that the crowd asked for, and I also did emotes inbetween my actions aswell. However, after completing my Circus today for the week, I found that I was not improving at all, infact I was getting better scores when I was going for xp (got around 600 in my range performance when I did a different emote in between every action, and always did what the crowd asked for). Now, what is the best way to get 1200+ points for your performance? Are my levels to low to be getting these kind of ratings?
  11. Ditto. Using the RS Client Application (the one that acts like a program instead of a web browser), when I try to log in it just sits there for ages and then finally says 'Can't connect' etc
  12. There is a mine north of Yanille which has a few spots for iron. The bank is only around 20 steps away southwards.
  13. I have around 80 mil at the moment, so not rich, but I am still not worried about getting hacked. My password isn't easily guessable, and because of my name change people wouldn't know my past username anyway. Also I have a bank pin, so even if they did manage to hack my account, the only things I would lose would be things like supercompost from leps etc.
  14. I would get a zerker ring, they are about 4 mil last time I checked. When you raise a bit more money I would think about getting a Fury. It's one of the only items you will use on every task (the others being dragon boots, slayer helm and barrows gloves), so it's very useful.
  15. There are turquoise coloured robes that are the exact same colour as the fletching cape if I remember rightly. You could have a top and bottom in those, then whatever else you like in the gloves/boots slots etc.
  16. Attack and Defense to 80, Summoning to 68 for Bunyip and War Tortoise and maybe Magic to 80 for mage defense (not essential but it helps). As you said, Prayer to 70 aswell.
  17. I honestly don't mind answering questions in the help and advice forum, even if it is a simple question that could have been googled. I've been posting regularly since 2006 and I've seen many a thread about money-making, weapons and simple quest questions
  18. I see your point now, however Jagex did say in the Behind the Scenes that the gloves would last for 10 hours of combat, but it seems they changed that when the update actually came out.
  19. Fine, they shouldn't need a reason to pk me. My original point was that it is annoying when you are trying to do something non-threating in the wilderness and someone kills you. If you were doing a level 3/4 clue and someone killed you I bet you would be annoyed. But, I'm not trying to be right here. The description for this section of the forum is labelled 'vent your frustrations' etc. I made this topic because I am fed up of people killing me when I go into high wildly to train skills/clue scrolls etc. As I said before, I'm not trying to say that they shouldn't kill me, I'm just letting people know that I am frustrated.
  20. I don't think that's the formula, Jagex said that high level players would get less of a boost compared to lower players. With your formula higher leveled players get more xp from the gloves. For instance, 10k times 50= 500k, so if your magic level is 50 you get 500k bonus xp before they run out. 10k times 99 =990k, so if your magic level is 99 you can get a total of 990k xp from the gloves before they run out. I'm not sure what the actual formula is, but I do know that there is a cap of 500k bonus xp before they run out. No they didnt jagex said higher levels would benefit more from them. When training 1 combat stat (eg non combat magic) ppl have shown without a doubt you get 10k * lvl so lvl 86 gets 860,000xp where as lvl 3 gets only 30,000 In the grand scheme of things the xp grows systematicall by steps while the xp required by elvel grows exponentially. 30k to a lvl 3 stat is a hell of alot of levels. 860k to a lvl 86 is like 2 lvls. Really? I remember a mod posting that the gloves would benefit higher leveled players less then lowered due to higher players being able to gain xp faster (overloads, turmoil), therefore gaining more xp than lower levels within the 10 hour limit. I'm not saying your wrong because I'm not 100% right myself.
  21. Why should someone have to get a reward to motivate them to kill you? Look, I think people are missing the point here. I'm not saying I shouldn't be killed or anything like that, they can kill me if they want to. It's just annoying when I'm just minding my own business trying to get somewhere. I pose no threat to anyone and I have no valuable items on me. It's more of a being polite thing. You can either choose to let me pass and be nice, or kill me for your own pathetic ego and be a douche.

  23. The Wilderness Course is the best xp for my level, so no thanks. if you aren't going to defend yourself, then you don't deserve it if you are constantly getting owned, maybe it's not the best xp? I'm not defending myself? My first post after the thread was defending myself. Of course it's not the best xp if I'm getting killed before I get there, that's obviously a given. I'm just annoyed that people insist on killing me when there's clearly no reward from doing so. I would say the same thing if I was doing a high level wilderness clue scroll. I have to go into high level wilderness to finish the clue scroll, but the outcome would be the same I would still be killed for nothing. You can't say then 'Don't do Clue Scrolls', theres no alternative to clue scrolls like there is with agility. Edit: And how exactly am I getting 'owned' if I'm carrying no weapons or armour, or runes for that matter. Of course I'm going to get killed, but I'm not getting 'owned'. If you killed someone fifty levels lower than you in the wilderness, would you be owning them? No, you wouldn't.
  24. Only thing about using a bunyip is the fact they only last 45 mins, my EE can keep my health up for an unlimited amount of time. I think if I get anymore trouble I'm gunna use your idea an take a weapon and some armour can at least try and annoy them a little.
