You could simply put another hard drive in your computer and transfer the files using a live cd. That or you could format that partition (using quick format) and use something like recuva te recover your files.

There's nothing wrong with Vista :rolleyes: About the hard drives, I'm going to go with the fact that you're still booting from the old drive instead of the 1TB, as others have said. Try to boot from the 1TB and see if you can then format the 500GB.

I do both Php and Asp.Net (although with VB and not C#), and it really depends on what you plan on doing. PHP can be on anything, Windows or Linux it doesn't care, while ASP stays on Windows. Also Php is free and ASP is not. Where it really comes into play, is the time it takes. It's much faster to do it with ASP than Php. There's a lot of things you can do in minutes with programs like Visual Studio in ASP that will take hours with PHP. For example, on our big end of year project in our programming class, the web section decided to do it in Php, but at the end they were regretting the choice, although having used php frameworks, but what they had done in a week could've been done in a day with ASP.Net.

None of those two. Celeron and Pentium are very outdated as CPUs. Plus the GPUs aren't dedicated ones.

O.o what brand? My Asus is now 2 years old and the battery still lasts ~3 hours. Brand new it lasted ~3:30. As for OP: have you tried making it run completely out of battery? Sometimes it's all it needs. You don't usually need to keep it out of the laptop though.

You can easily see the data transferred, you just have to have a web account. I know that's how it works with my ISP. To know the websites visited, You could go and call them up to see if they would release that information, especially if you're the owner.

What grade are you in? That doesn't really happen that much except in middle school. You're lucky to be at some place that it doesn't go higher. Where I live it happens until you graduate from highschool.

Encription is WEP or WPA? I know you made a typo, but which one? To me it pretty much looks like someone was hijacking the internet and using it though.

Did you go there again aftewards? The first time you do something in Rs, it loads slower since it's fully downloading the things, not taking it from the Rs cache that's normally on your computer. That's why it's usually faster, you used to have all those textures and all in a rs cache folder.

A hub is a very bad idea as it is very old technology and sends information through all ports, not just the ones needed. You should buy a router or switch and plug it's cross-over ethernet cable to the one on your modem you aready have. A router is easier though.

I won't go for MSI, I would go for Asus or Gigabyte if I was to buy a motherboard. From my experience, MSI boards are hard to setup and won't last that long. Plus Asus now has their own OS on their board for when you need to check something fast, which is Asus Express Gate. Not a full OS, but just enough for chat and internet browsing.
