The fictional piece was by far one of the best pieces of writing I've read in a while. Took me about half the article before I realized it was a fictional story, and I kept waiting for some "conclusion" but was instead left with a cliff hanger kind of feeling which was awesome. :thumbup:

Yeah the trailer actually came out on their on December 22, and was posted as a newpost here on the 24th of December. Also the most recent update had this in other news: So it's not surprising that the signature heroes are out wandering ingame. I wouldn't bet on a Grandmaster quest with them yet but I could see them being featured in a lot more content over the next few months.

Even though it barely has any activity, I think it's worth keeping just because we need a place for the odd thread that is about buying/selling something.

It's no longer available as the Tip.it website crew didn't have the time/staff to maintain it I think. If you go to the page here you just get a message saying it's not up for download anymore.

I found the beginning to be a little slow for my liking but the coordination throughout the rest was great and you picked some good music to go along with it.

Last year it was held on the first weekend of September so it most likely will be around that same time again this year. (Unless Jagex decides not to do a bonus experience weekend which seems unlikely) If you can't make 2.1M an hour any other way then I'd say go for it. Just make sure you sell before they crash.

I just started reading a Game of Thrones yesterday, wanted to see what all the hype about it was. :P Only a few chapters in and I'm already enjoying it so far. Also I re-read the Hobbit last week, I forgot how different it is in writing style compared to LOTR.

You can search for the items using Tip.it's GE Center. Then just adjust the time constraint below the graph to "from 9 months ago" and look for the spike around March to see how far an item rose last bonus experience weekend.

You'll only need the $100 OEM version if you're building the computer from scratch. Basically the differences are: OEM ($100) -Can only install on one computer (License is tied to that computer only) -If you upgrade a major computer part you need to contact Microsoft I believe to reactivate the OS again (As it will think you've installed it on a new computer. You won't be charged for this.) Retail ($200) -Can move OS to another computer -You get tech support from Microsoft (Useless in my opinion) -You get a fancy retail box I personally have a computer with an OEM version of Windows 7 and it works great for me, not worth paying for the retail version at all.

The video said they're still working on animating but can only get a few models at a time without requiring an absurd amount of processing power.

As amazing as it looks unless hardware companies start releasing the technology to run this on a normal pc I don't think we'll be seeing this implemented into any games for some time at least. The processing power required to run such high detailed graphics must be huge.

For once I'm actually very excited for this month, I'm really looking forward to the new quest and the minigame reward updates. Hopefully the reward updates will encourage players to start playing some of the lesser used minigames like Trouble Brewing again.

Ok just to clear up a things, yes I removed some posts, yes it was a fair amount of posts but it's kind of hard not too when you guys quote things a billion times over. I know slight spamming of this thread is ok but sexual images with things such as furries and other related stuff still isn't allowed anywhere on the forums. I almost feel that some of the deaths were done that way purposely just to keep the film rated PG-13. Kind of disappointing but it wasn't that huge of a deal to me compared to a few of the other things mentioned above that were cut.

The new trees really make every area look 10x better than it previously was. I wonder if Jagex are going to a large graphics update releasing the remodelled trees all across Runescape as well as updating a lot of these places. Wasn't bloom effects supposed to be in development by the graphics team as well?

The image is actually within the forum rules. Since your avatar is automatically fit within a 100x100 region under your name you don't have to worry about it be larger than those dimensions. As long as it's under 100kb (which that GIF is) you're fine. :)

100% agree with you. They really did justice to the Prince's Tale and it was one of my favourite scenes in the movie. I was also glad to see the "Not my daughter.." line wasn't cut from the movie, although I always imagined it as more of a screaming yell and it was much to short of a scene in the movie. I think they could have easily added a little more length in the movie to give that plus several of the character deaths more justice. Overall it was an amazing movie anyways and a great way to bring an end to the films!
