Ranarr Farming Question
Not quite as it depends on the patch. My Arm's Patch will never get diseased so that's always going to be 100% so it depends on if you use that as one of your 3. You can always use an Amulet of Nature to ensure another patch does not become diseased, although this isn't guaranteed as you could log off/miss the alert.

Slayer Advice...
What I did/do was/is train in the order of Strength/Attack/Defense. I trained in bands of 5. So 80-85 strength. 80-85 attack and then 80-85 defense. Defense becomes less important from 85. I skipped 85-90 defense and got strength and attack to 95 first. That said the difference between 85-89 defense is noticable, I'm not having to Guthan as much at various monsters, however I could survive easily with 85, and Guthaning a little bit more isn't much of a big deal.

longsword beats scimmy so bad
I'm sorry, but that was the worst analogy ever... And who would use a weapon that strikes once an hour? :wall: Me if it was a guaranteed KO. Obviously I'd then switch to a scimmy... (well whip or ss but meh thats not the debate)

longsword beats scimmy so bad
The topic creator is obviously mis-informed. In the time it take you to hit me twice with a longsword I will hit you 3 times with a scimmy. I forget the exact maths but it is basically: Longsword Hit 1 = 20 Scimmy Hit 1 = 18 Longsword Hit 2 = 20 Scimmy Hit 2 = 18 Scimmy Hit 3 = 18 Obviously that is if you hit max everytime. So in the same timeframe of you hitting me for 40, I would have hit you for 54.

Granite is going up.
This is what I think will happen. Firstly the price will drop. Sharpish. The amount of granite in banks and such far outweighs the demand for it. Buyers know it will drop so won't buy. Sellers know it will drop so try to offload. As the prices are now all linked all of them will drop to a reasonable amount. I would say 500-1000gp. In the long term the price will rise again. Unless they are hardcore, high level summoners are not going to get all seconds themseves. I'm not rich and I've never got a summoning second myself so the majority of people seriously training summoning will buy. However people are not going to keep granite anymore. Miners will go back to the old power mining, i.e. dropping it. As the reward for banking just isn't going to be worth it. Therefore there will be a demand for the granite, but little supply. In summary I expect the prices to flucuate between 500-1000 for the summoning granite.

Herb farming times?
Like I said the clock is wierd. From what I can gather each crop has a cycle. Herbs are about 5 minutes apart. So every 5 minutes the clock goes around. Every time the clock goes round the plant grows/becomes diseased/dies. Obviously if you plant near the end of a cycle it will grow almost straight away, but if you plant near the start, you have to wait that extra 4.50mins. Herbs sometimes take far longer than than they should to grow. This leads me to believe there is a rare "do nothing" option when the clock goes round.

Cooking with help from the Culinaromancer's Chest?
Not all my stats are ranked, so some would show up as missing or zero. Once I'm ranked in all skills, I'll use one. Most have options where you can input missing skills. Mine for example I have to input Quest Points.

bloodvelds?
You don't need to pray for the 4 normal bloodvelds.

Herb farming times?
First off it is impossible to plant them all at the same time. In the time it takes to travel between patches the farming clock could have ticked. Secondly the times are only an estimate as it uses a clock which advances the cycle. If you plant near the beginning of a period then you wait longer than if you plant nearer the end of a cycle.

Granite is going up.
I'm shocked by the amount of moans on the RSOF. This is a great update for summoning. Maybe not so for profit for miners, but before summoning granite was usless anyway so there is no real difference.

Cave Crawlers
Agreed. The newer ones with the higher level are not worth it. Cannonable though.
-
bloodvelds?
Yep best way by far. Bit of a trek but worth it. Wear magic protective gear so Karil's is best and then just cannon. I bring bones to peaches runes for the little healing I need.

Cooking with help from the Culinaromancer's Chest?
Why don't you get a stat signature instead of having a text one which you have to update... And yes the items are all for show.

Stick traps? HELP!
Can't you just run straight through the stick ones? Even if you get hit you are on the other side. It's only the leaf ones which stop you until you pass them.

Lack of Tree spots? ;S
I think the best is Gnome Stronghold. There is also a mage tree near the player tree.

Beacon Network help.
Super restore is a must. I forgot at 94 fm, and needed to bank before I could do beacon 14.
-
Hellhounds
or you can do flash prayor, i do that all the time and i kill all in 1 trip I don't pray on them. Flash prayer is too much effort. Would rather bank for food than do that.

Beacon Network help.
I think the 64 agilty is only for use of the shortcut. If that is the case a pot should work. Even if not, I know someone who stew'd 92 firemaking, got the reward but then couldn't wield it, so you probably can pot beacons too.

Hellhounds
I melee. Bring Bunyip, super sets, and guthans. I started meleeing at about your stats,

Lack of Tree spots? ;S
and get the summoning level for a Hydra. Infinite tree only you can use! Jagex have given people the option to have there own tree forevermore. Not there fault if you don't the stats to utilize it.

Drop Lists
I agree on the drop lists. It's information people really don't care about. Stats though are always handy for knowing what a player can do and gauging the level of there knowledge in posts. Also stats are something to be proud of and an acheivement. The fact you got a Guthans Spear isn't. It's luck. EDIT - Wasn't really clear on the stats thing. Say someone posted in Help & Advice asking for the best way to train theiving. With stats in there sig, other players can offer better advice. Also good for finding out if a player is f2p/p2p.

Duradel Broken?!?!
Black Demons are wicked XP and you will usually get enough cash per task to pay form the prayer pots used. Metal drags are OK except they are slow to kill. Once in a while is ok but I see why people get annoyed with them continually. Hellhounds are OK too. Only bad point is they are usually rammed. If Jagex made another dungeon for them for meleer's only they would rock.

Duradel Broken?!?!
Yeah quite often happens these days. Irons are OK though on task with black mask/slayer helm bonus. Last task I had I got dragon legs. :P
-
Bunyip or terrorbird
I use a Terrorbird only to store bars. I can get roughly 7-8 kills per trip via melee on slayer task. Banking isn't really a hardship with games necklace.
