Of course there'll be a sequel to the book. Jagex gets some cash for no effort, rookie author Church gets a novel from a borrowed storyline, and Runescape obsessors get a novel that will make them pee themselves in delight. Jagex and Church would be fools not to continue this profit chain that requires only 50% effort on either part.

Do we really need any other dragon equipment? Maybe a warhammer would be cool because it could be an uber-powerful crush weapon useful at bandos and other high-def monsters. But why a kite or a shortsword? And javelines... nobody uses em. Unless they have an incredible range bonus superior to everything else, they'd never be used.

I'll do the honors, sarge. Do we need this thread? There's already one on giving some holiday cheer. Nevertheless, who am I to be correcting people on Christmas Eve (in my time zone at least). Merry Christmas.

Clan Chat Without it, I couldn't have team pking (unless we got team capes but stubborn teammates who refuse to take off skillcape still would suffer). Also, forsakenmage chat couldn't exist, several minigames and lots of skill-training would be boring, and players without team chatting software may not have a clan.

6 PM Christmas eve where I live, so no presents yet :( (finally, the santa hat is appropriate). Got my dad a new pair of luxury gloves, my mom a new iron. They're the kind of people who have really simple luxuries.

Toward the end of summer I decided to give up my member career because school was starting. So I went through my bank and alched/sold everything of any remote value, and dropped the worthless junk. I ended up with a 48m cash pile. One of the items I couldn't alch or drop was a brand new crystal bow I had sitting in my bank for ages. It wasn't alchable or tradeable, so I was forced to drop it. Today, I took into account my loads of free time after homework, sports, and friends. I decided to become a member again after over 3 months of playing f2p. I plan to rebuy all the important things I sold (armor, weapons, potions, etc) and luckily msot of the stuff is cheaper now than the time I sold it, so I may actually profit off quitting. Wish I kept my unused crystal bow though :(

I planned to join RHQ and TIF when I first discovered both sites simultaneously. I joined TIF first and got so hooked in the forums I completely forgot RHQ. Was too focused on getting my post count up :wall:

Oops. I read that as "notice the classic cracker party with the bald guy". Then I saw the picture with the white family. Was about to post a heaty post asking why on earth you would use the word, then caught my mistake. No more skimming threads for me. Anyway, my mom makes traditional Pakistani foods on Christmas and my grandma and dad make Pakistani and Portugese sweets, so we end up with a fantastic tradition-filled meal. My dad makes this really good dessert called Bibic (BEE-bik) which is made mainly of eggs but is insanely better than a brownie or anything similar. It's a sort of a small cake that is cut into pieces and served. Way better than when my mom tries to imitate white people meals for Thanksgiving and ends up with oddly flavored yams :thumbsup:

Definitely the ability to freeze time. The amount of mischief I could create... and when I wake up early for school I can freeze time at 6:30 AM and sleep in for hours...

My ears are more disproportional than yours are, and I'm not the least bit concerned. If a girl judges your hotness on the size of your ears, you probably wouldn't want her anyway. I can't even imagine what she'd plan to do with them. If you get made fun of by other guys, ask them why they're staring at your face for so long to notice a detail. And then tell them how it's obvious that they are projecting their own self-conscious insecurities onto you and your perfectly normal ears. Turns everything into quite an awkward situation. But really though, there's nothing wrong with your ears that should make you concerned yet.

I have a friend who's 46 on RS. He's a very nice person. Was really generous to me before the trade limit too. Don't be hating on adult players, they probably get laid way more often than we do 8-)

Farming, plant a bunch of trees? I don't think many of us thought of the possibility of growing herbs to make a profit. There's nothing in Runescape at the moment that make sailing a god send, but that certainly doesn't mean things can't be added. a few more points to back up laura: It could be a great way to: Introduce new minigames/quests and style of gameplay. Also, at one point in time im sure i saw sailing in the highscores, and then jagex removed like 5 mins later,then i woke up. No it definatly happend. [/rumors] This reminds me of a few months ago when someone faked an image of a new prayer on the KB prayer guide, calling it "Crystal of Seren" with an image of a crystal shield on it, and it was basically all 3 protect prayers combined. This prayer was supposedly a reward from MEP3 and that it was an accidental leak and was removed quickly. Prices of several types of bones actually went up a bit, rumors spread like wildfire, and several j mods had to step in to cool everything off. The last thing I'd trust over the web is an image. Editing is far too easy these days to take an image as truth.

When I was a mem, I would hunt revenants for fun. In those times I heard all the classic rumors: you need a dfire shield to defeat rev dragons, rev knights drop sara swords, rev dark beasts drop dark bows, and other epic revenant drops. There were small rumors that doing certain emotes attracted revs, and other things that were never confirmed. And don't forget the one that's happening right now... "Z0MFG SAILING SKILL!!!!!!!!!!111111shift1111oneone!!"

You argue that you want to prevent deaths. So by what you're going by, why not take away knives, drugs, and cars too? Do I need to bring up the statistics about how many people die from those compared to guns? Guns are designed with the3 sole intent to kill, cars are designed for transport, knives are a practical tool for cutting things (like your food) and drugs are designed either to a)cure disease b)alleviate pain or c)to bring pleasure via their abuse. There is a massive difference, comparing them is a strawman argument. edit - we really need a strawman smilie... My point is that guns are designed to protect your own life. From what? Oh yeah, other people with guns.

I wish I could say I'd do the obvious: if it was the choice of saving three lives at the cost of one, I'd save as many lives as I could. But I couldn't see myself killing my own baby to save people I don't know. I'd try my best to find an alternative: trying desperatly to rock my baby or sing in whispers or just cover his mouth a bit to shut him up. But killing him? I'm not sure. I'd probably gladly do it to some other person's child if it meant saving my own or other lives. I'm a rather selfless and hypocritical bastard, aren't I?

They're great loots, but I disagree with your methods. I'm not a member anymore but I'm fairly sure your method is "run out, d-bow spec them, and finish em if they run". I suppose there's nothing wrong with it; you should utilize whatver method suits your levels, but I really think pjing is the lowest form of pking, next to 1 iteming.

Same thing happened to a teacher of mine. He was about to have knee surgery and the surgeons were drawing their battle plan on his knee, only to be interrupted by my terrified teacher who said they were drawing on the wrong knee. Happens all the time. Chances are that will be the biggest screw up of the surgery, so don't worry too much. Be lucky you're not as paranoid as I am, you'd have checked into an asylum by now out of fear of an operation screwing up.
