all me ignorant, but where are all the Mod MMG screenies coming from? Did he have an open cc for a while to chat with players or something? That must have been insanely spammy.

Username Hoggers
Honestly, how many players quit before leaving tutorial island? Probably a miniscule amount compared to the thousands of inactive accounts currently existing. Most people at least get off the island before getting killed by a goblin outside of Lumby and quitting forever. I guess it would be alright to remove such accounts that never played after tutorial island, but it would not completely solve the problem of "username hoggers". The main amount of hoggers come from players who find a creative name and quickly seize th opportunity before its taken just for the satisfaction of an account with an awesome name. Another big portion of hoggers is players that actually played the game, made friends, gained 5 or 6 levels, got bored, and quit before experiencing the full game. For both cases, there isn't really a good solution that wouldn't cause chaos.

Jagex, the Antichrist
Honestly, how mant threads do we need to have on this topic every few weeks before the message gets through that some people are just plain stupid? Rants on RSOF have been alive since the forums themselves, it's really nothing new. And it doesn't help that several times in both tipit and RSOF people think of having the brilliant idea of ranting about people's rants. We get the message, RSOF ranters are generally idiots. I spent a good 5 months on those boards constructing some decent rants that gained a lot of support (one of which lasted 6 threads after reachig the 2k limit) but many times my voices were drowned out by the failures of the internet complaining that their fun has been ruined. The reason a lot of people come to tipit forums is to get away from the stupidity that is contagious in RSOF. Immature and incoherent rants are not a new thing. They have always been here and will continue to exist until Jagex decides to go wtfban on them.

Username Hoggers
Eventually famous players will quit and 6 months later some random fan will make a new account with his name. That's just asking for trouble. And what about the people who have those unused users on friendlist? I personally have a very very good friend from way back when I started my rs career 3 years ago. She hasn't logged on since then but I have her added just for the sake of it in the vain hopes she'll log in one day. If someone else comes in with her username I could think its her and that could lead to confusion. If it's a slightly more renowned player with more friends (i.e. a lv 138, respected clan member with a full friendlist) someone could create an account to impersonate him and land the person in some deep [cabbage]. So yeah, there are too many things that could go wrong with username recycling.

useless laws.
There was some state in the south where it was required to bathe at least once a year  Well that's one of those outdated laws back when one could only bathe a few times a year. Funny nevertheless.

Oh how I miss you BTS...
I think removing BTS was a good idea. You should see RSOF 5 minutes after an anticipated update is released. "This is NOT how I wanted it! change it now or I quit!". Giving players less to anticipate helps them not to get overly excited about the upcoming updates. Mobilising Armies already is getting way too much excitement. Mark my words, the day after it's released there will be RSOF rants everywhere you turn, players wil threaten to quit, and the minigame will be abandoned unless it's extreme fun and good rewards.

Why private servers?
QFT. A lot of banned players and lazy players who desire moar runescape will go to private servers to try to enjoy more entertainment without working for it. It's quite sad and I hope that all the private server owners get sued for copyright infringment.

Randoms and their affect on AFK training
Well randoms still prevent you from being away from your keyboard, as AFK stands for. The literal definition of AFK is when you go to bandits and have your character sit there attacking nonstop while you eat dinner or play Xbox Live. Jagex doesn't want this, they still want you being at your computer while training. They don't care if you browse the forums while training, as long as you're stil sitting there and not doing something else irl. So randoms are still a nuisance to trainers who browse the forums while attacking because they have to stop browsing or watching their youtube videos and finish the random to resume training. It can become a hassle. But it's still better than old randoms because they no longer threaten to kill you if you're not paying attention, you'll just sit in the random event's house until you logout. If you ask me, the current randoms are an excellent compromise. They stop complete afk training because whenever you get a random you must return to your keyboard and complete it. But the randoms provide more safety for people who browse youtube or forums while training because the random will not kill them for being inattentive.

Noobs say the funniest things!
^I like it more. Epic failed phat ascii combo break. And the phat kinda failed too. So thats a quadruple fail. That's about as epic as it'll get. Keep in mind this all happened in the span of about 3 seconds where we pitted our skillz against phat spam.

Tip.it Vs Corr. War Over!
Then 5 clans united and humiliated them out of the wildy. After the dust settled VR had no fall ins, no fight left in them, and blue capes were nowhere to be seen. Hope they'll think twice next time they try to crash.

Facebook Worm Threat
Look, the word "gullible" is written on this video on the internet! Download it now! Another reason why I'm glad to be one of those rebels who has never had a page on any social networking sites and hopefully never will. Even if you're not gullible enough to fall for these scams, it's easy to place trust in a gullible friend who sends you the link after falling for it himself.

Tipitopia!
I suppose I'll become a citizen of this new... island of the interwebs. Why don't we create a brand new unheard of form of government and see if it works? Like Warrenism, where we all bow down to me, your supreme leader? First one to do so gets cupcakes.

Tip.it Vs Corr. War Over!
I'm surprised and very happy at how Corruption handled their victory. If it was almost any other clan they would have surely decorated their threads and forum and yelled up this thread saying "Join Corruption, we beat TIPIT!!! hahahaha" and mindlessl rubbed their victory in our faces. Hell, I might have done that if I was on the winning side of the war. But instead they thanked tipit for the fight, gave due gratitude to the assisting clans who shamed VR out of the wildy, and treated the whole thing very humbly and maturely. That's the kind of clan I don't mind getting owned by.

Tip.it Vs Corr. War Over!
We hopped TWICE to prevent ambushes from crashers and VR still managed to find and crash us. Of course they failed miserably and disgraced themselves because DF, SE, Corr, Tif, and another clan whos name I forgot all united against them. Those kids were nowhere to be found a few minutes after they got crashpwned. If they have a tipit thread I highly suggest it be taken down because they're obviously not a tipit friendly clan if they like to crash our events. After VR was discovered to be KIA, the clans who had united turned the event into a spam contest to see who could say "we are [clan name]" or "Vr who?" the most. I think Corr or DF won those. Corr started spamming some rather naughty and immature things though. Eventually the war continued once all crashers had dissappated and Corr dominated us within minutes. My experience in the war: I was one of the few mages of the lot. I brought 150 casts and 60 binds for the event and rune plate/legs/scimmy along with 5 months worth of f2p war experience. I thought I was pretty prepared. Guess what? As soon as the war started, I lost connection. Way too many people gathered in one place. Needless to say once players noticed me in robes they attacked my helpless, connection-lost character and I died quickly. I came back with nothing but a staff and a few dozen casts in time for a bit of action but once again they picked off the mages quickly. Finally me and a few other returners came back after the war to scout the area for runners and nothing was found. All in all it was quite a fun experience. I came knowing I was guarenteed to die (mages always get piled first) and so I wasn't dissappointed at all. My only regret was bringing rune armor that I never had the chance to use that simply added to the cost of my losses. But I suppose that the 100k or so wasn't too big, and it was quite fun.

Tip.it Vs Corr. War Over!
Ugh, I just reread the thread. Which wise person decided w21 as the warzone? Not only is that f2p's biggest pk world (and it's even more busy on weekends), but it's full for most of the day. It's bad enough that we will have over 100 Cor players, 100 tipiters (hopefully), and 100 crashers trying to log in, but to add to that there will be normal clans and pkers just doing their normal business in the world! It will be practically impossible to log in and there will be crashers and accidental visitors at the warzone who are quickly caught in the conflict. Why 21 when there are several other pk worlds for f2p? Makes no sense...

Another Anti-Gameplay Update from Jagex
I was hoping I wouldn't have to see the day where RSOF's influences came here. Ranting about an update BEFORE it comes out? Jeez, at least give them a CHANCE to dissappoint you before you come venting your frustrations.

Tip.it Vs Corr. War Over!
Rune items won't show up (except for daggers I think) for players that loot. And please, don't be a looter if you're not going to help the battle. We'll already have low level players not associated with either side doing all the looting. If you don't want to risk much, my suggestion is to bring a rune scim and full addy (or possibly green d'hide) with power ammy and combat boots and colored gloves. Protect the scimmy if you die and your total losses will be very small. Of course it's still rather cowardly compared to those who will be willing to fight to the death in the best armor possible. But I'd rather see an army of addy players willing to fight to the death on my side than an army of 1 itemers/looters. Although I'd always prefer to have teammates who will risk the maximum and live far longer taking more players down with them. or if you're magic level is good enough, consider being a mage. The losses are usually cheaper and the hits are hard. You'll still need 25k worth of stuff (I suggest bringing an r scim to protect and 25k worth of runes/equipment). And make sure to be a bit over the 25k limit because if you do manage to survive for a while you might not have enough runes and food to suffice and your kills will be worthless.

Tip.it Vs Corr. War Over!
God, does everyone really think that a war will last for 12 hours straight? Very few have in the past. The only way it would happen is if the clans were deadlocked where as soon as a player died, another came back to take his place. But considering the level and number differences in this war, it will either be us crushing them or (more realistically) them crushing us. It will come to a point where everyone on the winning side will almost completely erase the other team and then gets to camp by the greater demons waiting for returners to show up and then pile them all. If I'm not mistaken, the closest tele to 45 wild is varrock tele and running all the way north from there. A good 5-10 minute walk, and you have to walk because you need to save run for chasing the escapers in the war. In the time it takes one warrior to tele to varrock, gear up, and walk all the way from varrock to the war zone, 10-20 players on his team will have easily died at the zone. Coming back really just prolongs the inevitable. The only way we can make it worth it to buying 300 rune sets is if everyone on our side puts up a vicious fight and holds off so that new warriors replace dying ones at a good 1:1 rate. Any less and eventually Corruption will overwhelm us and there will only be a tiny stream of warriors replacing the dead and quickly get picked off for being the leftovers.

Farming Revolution? Will people actually use allotments now?
Man, this update just had to come just a short while after I spend 3 weeks training to 63 farm for WGS with garden pie. Curse you Jagex!

RuneScape + Classmates = Z0MG FAIL!11
I was first introduced to Runescape in 5th grade where every cool kid played it. In 6th grade nearly everyone deserted it. Some moved to WoW, some completely forgot RS and did other stuff. Only me and one of my friends (who is a football player) still plays runescape. Does anyone else find it odd that a football player with like 3 girls in his life even bothers to play runescape? He has 3 accounts too. 2 are pures.

Tip.it Vs Corr. War Over!
If anyone from corruption/TET is reading this, do you think we could get the leaders to compromise to kill off the crashers first before warring eachother? Let's face it, the "no VR" rule will not hold them back. VR, DK, Terminal, Krunal, and several other major f2p clans are sure to show up (I used to pk with the latter two clans. They're great guys, but they crash frequently and I'm gonna try to make sure they stay out). And since the war will be continuous, we will have to deal with a constant stream of crashers. There's no way we can have a good fight unless we initially own all the crashing clans and make the survivors run for their worthless lives.

Tip.it Vs Corr. War Over!
I'll come and I'll be maging because mages will probably be in the minority in the wars and yet are crucial for kills. I encourage players who commonly melee to consider using mage: if you're 110+ especially you won't die too quickly, your hits will be pretty high, and you'll hit way more often than a meleer on a full runer. This clan Corruption... it's not going to be an easy-peasy fight. Half the players on our side will be either low risk 3-itemers or players in full rune who will run at the first sign of danger and desert their braver teammates. PLEASE, PLEASE don't be one of those cowards. If you're going to desert your teammates when you get piled, don't bother showing up. This requires true teamwork and bravery (or at least as much bravery as one can show on the internet). I've been maging in plenty of pvp wars and it depresses me to see my own teammates running, such to a point where I began binding my own deserting teammates to punish them and let them die with their rune. This war will be nothing like the last MSSW where we outnumbered everyone 10 to 1 and it was slaughter. The clan we're fighting is more experienced than a lot of our players are, they're not afraid to die, they're experienced tanks, they're high levels, and they will actually have a battle plan. Our only advantage is that we will (hopefully) outnumber them. The problem is that most of our outnumbering warriors will be lv 70-90 and we probably won't have enough 100+. Come to the war expecting to die. Don't think otherwise, don't think it'll be a sure victory, don't think you can survive anything. Because you will almost guarenteed end up dead no matter what you do. Get used to it, bring some good gear to take out as many warriors with you before you die, but always remember that death is almost 100% inevitable. You might say I'm taking this too seriously. I beg to differ, I'm simply stating my views, advice, and pet peeves as a player who has been a mage (the most commonly piled players) in f2p clan wars for all of 5 months when I took a break from members.
