Burt's Bees.
Hah, my friend is addicted to the stuff. Every 5 minutes in class he re-applies some chapstick. Everyone jokes about how he says he's doing that to please his girlfriend. He told me he really just likes the feel of the chapstick and that it made his lips ultra-smooth.

What would you have done?
Aww Goddess, I really oughtta learn from you. I would have probably either left it there or done what was suggested above and toss the SIM (or maybe try to return it) and sell the phone for cash. I'm working on trying to be less selfish, but I have a long way to go.

Dark Bow + More Pk on a pure 6M Value
Nah, before when it was safe to alch in front of the wildy ditch, players could lure unsuspecting alchers by trading them and running in the wild. When the alcher clicked the trade in his chatbox, the character chased the trader into the wildy and got wtfpwned.

I'm a noob!
I remember a while back someone on tif made a list of about 70 reasons why someone would be called a noob. Among those are several contradicting statements. "You're a noob because I killed you". "You're a noob because you killed me". "You're a noob because you're lower level than me". "You're a noob because you're higher level than me and therefore have no life".

Is the Grandmaster quest going to be Fremmy?
Helm of Neitiznot? You should do that quest for the helm, it's well worth it. But it seems reasonable to continue the next grandmaster with the fremmy series. As someone said, the fist person to find the stone of Jas was a fremenik, and it's not every day a Runescape prophecy tablet has your name on it. I think it's reasonable to say that if the grandmaster doesn't exclusively involve the Fremeniks, they'd at least play a role in the quest.

Can anyone tell me why fire is the cheapest rune in RS?
As has already been said, slayer monsters drop huge loads of fire runes. Dust devils drop several hundred at once and the average slayer task can weild 1k=2k fires. Fire giants drop them quite frequently too. Even bloodvelds if I'm not mistaken. The only demand for fire runes is players who use elemental spells (f2p) because it saves more money to use an air staff than a fire staff.

3rd April 2009 - Forums for High level F2P'ers!
I don't see why it's a bad idea as long as it's controlled. I would think a 100+ combat requirement or a rather high skill total requirement would be good. The only thing I have a problem with is... what would f2p contribute to the forums? All they'd have is "f2p should get this update" and maybe some pking discussions. But the f2p system isn't so diverse where there can be hundreds of different discussions on training methods and monsters like in p2p.

Royal Flush
Ugh, I am absolutely horribly at poker. I can sort of do the math to calculate the chances of drawing the right card in my head, but I am incredibly horrible at maintaining a poker face. Every time the flop, turn, or river gives me the card I need I practically flop out of my chair. I've never played for money because I've never won a poker game besides one of those cute little games on MiniClip. I personally prefer to watch World Poker Tour because I get that same excitement of "woah, that hand's gonna win everything". Also, it gives me a feeling of being omnicient because the TV shows me everyone's hand.

Obama gives the Queen an Ipod
I just have to wonder if "Never Gonna Give you up" was one of the songs on the iPod. Or if it wasn't, it should have been. There's just something about the leader of the free world rickrolling the ceremonial ruler of England that I just find purely hilarious.

Decoding the chaos elemental!
[hide=quotes] To conclude: Fay autocrat impugns royal, yet The avatar liberates everyone? FREE! I think this all happens after the time When stars were entertaining June...in Bennath. Take the first letter of each word (bolded) and you get: Fairy Tale (with correct capitalisation!) FREE! could mean three Well then, I see no way to argue with that one but what the hell is with the song reference? here it is btw Brazilian Portugese(Sp) Runescape is coming so thats the song referneces meaning I guess Brazilian portugese? what? Yeh I don't think so [/hide] 1. Portugese is the official language of Brazil, not Spanish. So don't be surprised that just because Brazil is across the world, that doesn't mean it can't share a language. In case you haven't noticed, most of South America speaks Spanish when the language originated in Spain. 2. FunOrb has already been released in Brazilian Portugese. It only makes sense that Runescape would have a version soon after. That makes sense, perhaps some of the anagrams are actually in Portugese. So, does anyone speak Portugese here? Maybe put some of the weird words into a portugese translator and see what comes out.

31st March 2009 - Rants forum returns
It sounds at first like a rather bone-headed update that gave whiners what they want, but when you think about it, it makes very good sense. Other forums on runescape were often the site for rants, not to mention the people who joined fansites just to rant about one particular issue, then disappear from the site never to be seen again. Jagex basically gave them a place to be stupid again while they dealt with serious feedback in the more mature forums of RSOF.

Omni-Protection Prayer?
If an Omni-protect prayer was to exist, it shouldn't be able to 100% protect from monsters. Jad, waterfiends, td's, and other monsters would be incredibly easy to kill. Even though extra prayer is required, people would simply replace their half-inv of brews/restores/food with more prayer pots. If the omni-protect existed, it would probably have to reduce damage from both players and monsters rather than protect damage 100% from monsters.

The 20 Most Viewed Youtube Videos Ever
Ugh, over half those top videos are crappy music videos, and at least 5 of them are Disney. God damnit, what happened to the good old days where disney stuck to children's entertainment? Now it's invaded the music industry, the internet, and even podcasts and texting contests.

PETA Kills 95% of Adoptable Pets in it's Care.
It was obvious that sooner or later PETA would be exposed for hypocrisy. Unless every member of PETA was a Jainist vegetarian hippie who lived off self-sufficiency in a jungle, there's no way that hypocrites couldn't be found in PETA. It was only a matter of time. But I never expected this. Massive killings of homeless animals? Whether or not their life was better off being taken than living in misery, is this animal-killing organization the same one that wants Ben&Jerry's to use human breastmilk to preserve the sensitive emotional wellbeing of cows, and the one that compared chicken slaughter to the Holocaust? How can ANYONE take their propaganda seriously after this?

Fansite support information
It's great that tipit has been contacted and thus is under the "dedicated, player-supporting" fansite category. But this post doesn't seem to answer questions on what exactly they plan to do. All it did was say the credentials a fansite needs and other things about what fansites they choose. It barely mentioned anything about what they actually plan to DO with fansites as allies. Give fansites their own servers? Help with announcements and event planning by posting up advertisements? Who knows?

bored top 5 skipped slay tasks
I can skip up to 4 tasks but Lapakalok only assigns me a few different tasks so I have no need for all 4 blocks. I block steel drags (they are really inefficient to kill) and waterfiends (I know they're profitable but I just don't like having to bring all those supplies).

going past level 99
Yeah, because tipit is just crawling with Jmods eager to answer questions here. Currently the only point of going above 99 is for a good spot on the hiscores. If you really want to know what a j mod said about this, here goes. About two years ago the #1 fletcher who was at 200m exp made a rant on rsof wanting a higher xp limit. A J mod later responded saying the 200m limit would remain for a while and that they would only reconsider changing this if more players hit max. Today not many skills hit the 200m limit and those that did only have a few maxed players. So until we start seeing several hundred players with 200m in several skills, I doubt Jagex will feel the need to change the max.

Outfits.
If I'm doing something like woodcutting or fishing where weight of the outfit don't really matter, I try to look nice. My usual outfit is ringmaster hat and top, proselyte or black d'hide legs, sara book. and my weapon can vary depending on whether I need the weapon for the skill. Bouwzie, why do you find it so hard to accept that some people just enjoy their looks online? Believe it or not, the real-life people who work those characters put large amounts of effort into getting their character whatever levels they have. I think the least any hard-working runescape player deserves is the right to obtain an outfit that gives them some individuality over all the spottier-cape/lightness boot players out there. I've put 3 years of effort behind my account and so I think I've earned the right to wear something nice when I skill train. Some people want to express their creativity in a game where a lot of people don't bother with being creative. Some people don't want to be one of the thousands who mindlessly chop trees with nothing on besides gear to reduce weight. They wan't to be different. They want to be an individual. I don't see what's wrong with doing that on an online game. Sure, it's not real life. But real life creativity and desires for wealth and showoffiness are all shown online and real people with real emotions put effort in trying to work their way to the top, often choosing a creative outlet for doing so.

14-year old sex offender
I don't see why everyone always looks at a crime investigation involving a minor annd go "that kid doesn't need punishment, they need help". What help is this 14 year old going to get that avoids punishment? How do you convince a girl at the peak of her puberty with a boyfriend that sex isn't cool, and that breaking the law is even more uncool? I would think the only way to do that is getting them in huge trouble because that's just about the only way they'll realize they're in deep [cabbage]. I think the sex offender status was deserved here. Believe it or not, there are people who check out their friends' myspaces who don't expect to see their friend naked and trying to pose in an arousing manner. Sure, most teenage boys would dream of it, but if you ask me there's nothing good that can come out of a teenager posting herself naked in a place where close friends, secret admirers, and random pedophiles can easily access.

Conficker Worm
I love how when a Middle Eastern man is travelling alone at an airport, he quickly gets stopped by "random" security checks. Then a virus appears that could infect, control, and possibly destroy data of 9 million computers, and all we can do is laugh at the potential for an epic april fool's joke? Does everyone NOT see the threat here? April first doesn't mean crap if it's in the wrong hands. A smart hacker would think april fool's day to be the perfect day to go on a mass worming spree since he wouldn't be taken seriously except by corporate and governmental agents who are afraid that exposing so many people to a joke worm would make them look bad.

Piety Dominates F2p!
Believe it or not, it's incredibly hard for Jagex to predict every possible consequence and use of the updates in order to make sure everything flows smoothly. There will always be that one player out of 300 thousand others who decides "I wonder what happens if I try this with the new update" and BAM! Bug abuse revolution unfolds. If Jagex took the time to inspect EVERY SINGLE use, consequence, and effect of the updates along with every single possible combination with other items or effects, we would rarely see an update. As for bannings I hope they occur, but I have to wonder how Jagex tracks down players who click a prayer in f2p. And, how would they sort it from the innocent people? When I took a break from mems and started doing 1v1's in f2p pvp, I kept clicking piety out of member's habit instead of the 15% prayers. I'm sure plenty of other players who recently quit mems do the same for a while until they adjust. I'm hoping Jagex has some efficient yet firm method of catching and punishing rule breakers for prayer abuse.

The future of Bounty Hunter: more info revealed.
I wouldn't be surprised if you get their eqt an inventory as drops ONLY when you kill your target I think you really nailed that one. It makes perfect sense. I was wondering that with such a big area, how could RWT be prevented from occuring in deserted areas? But if you could only get kills from your target, you'd have to have your RWT partner close to your combat, and they'd have to have the luck of being your target. Well goodbye bounty hunter rogues...

5 P I D E R, I got my revenge =)
So... you killed a guy who killed another guy whom you happened to be acquainted to? More power to you I guess...
