How do YOU Make Bank Pics?
Well, yes. I'm not sure if there is another way, but that's what I do for any image. Of course, there's always Photoshop, but Paint would be preferable for a quick job.

Investigating the Wise Old Man
What is up with that? No other fansites or the official forums had anything resembling a penguin idea. If Jagex didn't think of that themselves, then they must have got it from here. That's creepy. Really creepy. :uhh: Well, if that is true, then maybe a few people will stop thinking that Jagex never listens to players. But yes, that would be rather creepy... I think there was a brief discussion about how WOM and MOM could be brothers, but it would seem right that they were the opposite. One is greedy, the other is charitable. I was just thinking- perhaps we should create a sort of fun, friendly meeting society in RuneScape to discuss the Wise Old Man? Perhaps just come along once a week to have a quick chat about him and his possible plans? I think it might make things a little bit more interesting and get more people involved in this story. Or have I been so ignorant as to overlook the existence of such a thing? I apologise if I have.

Most RANDOM thing you've heard someone say in Runescape?
King Wenlok and his accomplice marched valiantly towards the Demonic Ruins- towards almost certain death. They kicked away the ash and the stones and the dead branches that lay scattered amongst the dead plains of the Wilderness. We knew our time had come. One of the demons lifted its head and sniffed the hot, rancid air. It picked up our scent within seconds, leering towards us out of the dark with its eyes of pure hatred. We had but a second to prepare, quickly arming ourselves with the fire staffs of old, preparing to blast the beast back to the dark oblivion. And then it charged. Though we faced impossible odds, the demon was no match for the might of two wizards. It was quickly blown off its feet, hitting the ground and grabbing at the thick air with its long, sharp claws. Crying out in a thousand dead voices, it pushed itself up, but wasn't quick enough to escape the wrath of magic. The thing gave one last scream, and died. This was when the other demons noticed our presence. Three of them were slowly making their way towards the two of us. My friend whispered to me, "We're outnumbered, m'lord Wenlok. You must go back. And there is no time to argue." Shoving a bunch of law runes into my hands, he instructed me to run back as far as I could go, and then teleport safely to Varrock. Grudgingly, I did as I was told, and ran up a mountain that spewed hot lava. But before I ran, I turned around, to see my loyal friend, making his final stand against the demonic horde. Then he shouted a battle cry of old: "I dropped my wowipop." To cut a long and pointless story short, we basically decided to do something stupid, so we went to the Demonic Ruins without food with the intent to kill every demon there. And then at the middle of the battle he said... well... Yeah, pretty random thing to say in the middle of a battle, eh? (Sorry I don't have a picture- this was a few months ago, and I wasn't exactly thinking about pictures at the time).

Skill You Leveled The Longest Ago?
Crafting, a skill that I have left untouched for quite some time now (around 6 months I think). It's still Level 5, and always will be. Hopefully.

Investigating the Wise Old Man
We're humans, not young goats. And most of us are adults or near enough I think (except me). KCHughes made complete sense, so I guess you did not even bother to read his post. May I also add that RuneScape is a fantasy, so really anything that isn't too bizzare can happen. You have absolutely no proof to back up your statement that what we discuss is 'ogre c***,' so really your words are null and void. Nah, Jagex isn't willing enough to make 'WOM a god and he wants revenge and he used to be one but he joined the other side and is planning to destroy all runescape!' What about the penguins? The idea was laughed at, and it ended up becoming a quest. Why wouldn't Jagex take it up another level? No matter what people think of them, they are pretty intelligent, and would be willing to take on ideas and possibly implement them into the game. Pretty dark fairy tale...

Where would you be with out tip.it?
Getting free one-way trips to Lumbridge everywhere I went. Now I know which monsters to stay well clear of, regardless of their level.

Investigating the Wise Old Man
So that would be the Sixth Age, then? I like the idea about the WOM trying to become a god, and those thoughts on a quest, but if the WOM or Zaros ended up being a boss, would they not end up being nearly impossible to defeat? If Zaros came back in his physical form, who knows what power he would be able to summon. I don't think even Zezima or the other high leveled players would be able to withstand it, so the only possible way I can think of to defeat Zaros is to have a group of over 300 men with you to battle the god. But if it's not a multi-combat zone where you fight him, then... BAM! The slaughter would be huge. Oh, and before anyone says, I highly doubt 'Protect' prayers would work against a god. Now, back to the idea behind a god war- if that were to happen, Gielinor would surely snap in two, plunging everyone into darkness. I have a feeling that not even Guthix would be able to intervene against the WOm and Zaros. So, if the quest comes out, I think Jagex will be saying this- either stop the WOM before he becomes a god, or you and everyone else dies. Well, that would surely allow all the clans to join forces to defeat the menace of the Wise Old Man and Zaros. Wow, imagine over 300 people charging against whatever army they may summon- it'll make history. Let's hope nothing comes up to defy the WOM's seeking to become a god, as I really like your ideas on this.

Weekly Poll: Where do you play RuneScape the most?
Mainly at home, on my own computer. I don't believe my school allows the RuneScape website to be accessed.

Newb/Newbie is a new player. Noobs are people I lure into the clutches of the Ice Warriors. Minced noob is always being served in the Ice Caves.

Investigating the Wise Old Man
If he got the ability to do that' date=' I'd hate to meet him in the Wilderness, or anyone else who had that power for that matter. Imagine this- you are in the Wilderness, all alone, then suddenly a Level 80 attacks you. However, you summon 50 Level 20's- even that low a level would be able to take down the Level 80, if they were in that number! Just think of the chaos it would cause.[/quote']Yea but the lvl 80 would probaly summon 100 lvl 3's... :ohnoes: It would take a long time for 100 Level 3's to kill you, unless you are below Level 40. But there would be so much lag that the level 80 could run to safety. Come to think of it, if summoning did come about, would lag not put a huge stint in the amount of creatures we could actually summon? If Jagex decided to go ahead with it, they'd have to put the maximum number of creatures that can be summoned at any one time in very controlled amounts.

Investigating the Wise Old Man
If it was comprised of lunatics, I'd love to be in it. :P The Tower was always sinister. I mean, a lesser demon in a cage? A mage that summons armies of imps? Now Opus Saradomin as you have said. I find the Oracle rather strange... I think he might be some sort of spy for Opus Saradomin- possibly he is spying on the Black Knights? Maybe Opus Saradomin are in league with the White Knights, or has that been said before? My memory is going, sorry. It would be a good way to land an attack- I mean, frontal assault would be pure suicide. Maybe he is going to land on that balcony at the top, jump through the window, and maybe conspire with Grayzag for what to do next? I am suggesting of course that they are in league, and are trying to steal something from the tower, possibly the summomning runes. I think I know the plan if this is true- they release the lesser demon, it causes havoc, and in the midst of the confusion, the Wise Old Man steals the runes, then runs off with Grayzag to Maliginus Mortifier. Then the three summon whatever monsters they choose- it would be perfect! However, I could be wrong- the WOM may be attempting to kill Grayzag for all we know. If he got the ability to do that, I'd hate to meet him in the Wilderness, or anyone else who had that power for that matter. Imagine this- you are in the Wilderness, all alone, then suddenly a Level 80 attacks you. However, you summon 50 Level 20's- even that low a level would be able to take down the Level 80, if they were in that number! Just think of the chaos it would cause.

Andrew's response to autoing
I somehow doubt that they ban 8000 accounts a week for macroing, but yes, it is nice to see that they are doing something. But even so, I'm seeing quite a few macroers per day hacking away at those willows at Port Sarim. This is just what I hate about them- essentially, they spoil the fun of the game. Take a person with Level 60 Woodcutting or higher for example- there are so many macroers chopping down the yew trees that few can get at them, and thus, this person can't get his/her yew logs. It's pathetic really. I'm not affected by macroers etc. as such, as I get money from mining, but still, the majority of RuneScape players are affected by them, which makes their actions sad and unforgivable.

Investigating the Wise Old Man
They might do do it out of pure badness. Well, hopefully they won't, but they do have a sense of humour. Though I think it more likely that Opus Saradomin is in the Wizard's Tower we know and love. Possibly the Oracle to symbolise wisdom, and the Wizard's Tower for good. Maybe the line through Aubrey's shop hints at something (summoning runes)? I'm not a member, so I know little of the other two locations. Coincidence, non? Obviously evil and war. Curious that two Wizard Tower's fall into place on the lines of the sun/wave rocks and the eye/swirl rocks. Then there is talk of the new tower... possibly a tower of balance?

XP IS GOING BACKWARDS!
This isn't really losing experience, but whenever I log on my health goes down at a rapid rate, regardless of if I'm being hit or not. Then after about 30 seconds it stops. Hmm... Oh, and as far as experience loss goes, I think I may have lost a bit of Defence XP, but I'm not sure.

Investigating the Wise Old Man
Oh, sorry. My bad. I'll Google around a bit. I also find it curious that the bankers sometimes face west when they are not helping you withdraw or put items in your bank. The Falador bankers seem to do it more often than the others, oddly enough. Mmm, they might indeed, particularly since one of them seems to have a symbol that is very rune-like. Possibly they are Runecrafting altars? Hmmm... summoning would end up becoming the most powerful thing in RuneScape obviously, so maybe these stones are the ultimate power that holds up RuneScape. And maybe summoning isn't all. Maybe there are other powers! Just think what could happen if we managed to work out how to tap into it! But... if these stones do hold up Gielinor, the arrival of summoning would likely destroy them utterly. More demons would come to the world, and so would more White Knights, and other forces of good and evil. The wars would be catastrophic. Hmmm... is Zaros possibly the sort of opposite of balance, instead of what we thought was previously total evil? Didn't Guthix say he created RuneScape? Well, if there was a creator and a one of balance, surely there is also a destroyer and one of unbalance? I really think this is all Zaros' doing. And if he is Bob the Jagex Cat, that would explain why he needs the WOM to do his errands. Hey, maybe I should form a RuneScape religion that preaches the apocalypse and how we should prepare for it.

Investigating the Wise Old Man
So no one ever notices them. They just stroll by, look at them, and think, "Meh, just some stupid rocks." That's how many powerful things have stayed intact- because they go unnoticed. And I think you overlooked one part of my post- I said it might be impossible for weapons to destroy them. But my theory about the stones being marred by what happens in the world would explain the fact that the stone with a sun on it is smashed in two and the stone with the eye/freemasoon symbol/whatever has a gaping hole in it. I think Zaros may be controlling the Wise Old Man to destroy the good and evil stones, so that, er, you know. Just a thought, like. See above. Fantasy knows no bounds. And I'd like to think that I'll bring about the Gielinor Apocalypse and become the most infamous player ever, forever ruling the black void with a blue party hat, Staff of Zamorak, and... I'll stop now. The Dark Tower, a fantasy/sci-fi crossover, but I found the Tower idea quite interesting (not that I believe in it of course). It's 7 books long, and has a pretty rubbish ending, but you should find it mainly enjoyable. It's written for adults however. Would you mind telling us where this was (if you remember) please? :)

Investigating the Wise Old Man
*Sigh* Alright. And we'll end this... now. :-w On the contrary, Stephen King wrote about a tower holding up the entire universe, and it was slowly going to fall. My friend, fantasy can take you anywhere, even beyond the wave of time. And no, I do not think that these stones can be damaged by simple weapons. I prefer to think they are marred by what happens in this land. You see the hole in the Eye Rock- Saradominists fought back, and won a few fights. But the splitting of the Sun Rock- more people have fallen to the sway of Zamorak, so many that the good finally could not take the strain and broke. You see it everywhere- clans patrol the Wilderness, killing the weak. Warriors and battle Mages and Rangers are shooting down the innocent. Good simply could not cope, and broke. But it is not yet gone forever, only broken- some of the stone still remains, and those that are still good will fight on, until the stone is finally destroyed. Oh yes, more holes will appear in the Eye Rock, but finally that will be no more, and the world shall be plunged into Chaos and Darkness. Yet, maybe the Eye Rock will finally come to break, and what then? The mortals will be gone forever, and only those beings from the netherworld will remain. The Elements. And the other. And Guthix, the one of balance, will also remain, and maybe he will come again to rebuild the world without balance. For without good there is no evil, and without evil there is no good, and without either there is nothing.

Investigating the Wise Old Man
To me, divided means 'broken' whilst things with holes in them makes me think of 'weakening.' So I was mainly considering the possibility that an incredible force lurks within these stones, but that force is already being slowly ripped apart (maybe one part of it has- the sun stone is broken in two). However, the other stones survive- I have the feeling that all these stones hold up RuneScape, in perfect balance of good, evil, the elements, and one other thing (what is that last stone?). Possibly. But these symbols seem to have been specially chosen, and two others bear symbols completely different to anything we've seen in RuneScape. Also, only one stone seems to be dedicated to that of the ranger, and these stones are not perect triangles- they are not even pyramid shaped! So that's a tad dead-ended. I call symbols which I think are related to things of evil 'Sauron's eye.' I don't see why you would have a problem with that. Weapon combinations? Well, that might play a part in it somewhere, but I really think these stones are ten times more important than combining combat skills together. Of course, the energy in these stones might be able to do it though... great, I'm having an argument in my head. Though if you are correct, maybe Zaros is trying to harness this power to create a suped-up army? These are truly dark times. Okay, if you want to know what I think these stones really represent, here it is: The Sun- the will of good (light) The Eye- the will of evil (dark) The Waves (squiggly lines)- the power of the elements Unknown symbol- (please tell me if you think you know what it is)

How Old Is your 'main' ?
Round about four years or so, though it was inactive for two years.
