  1. Here are just some basic quests that will eventually be manditory: Priest in Peril: Access to the kingdom of Mortyana, which is full of places that will be of use in the future, such as Barrows, the Slayer Tower, and Port Phasmatys; 'Desert Treasure' also involves this area. Lost City: Ability to wield the dragon longsword and dragon dagger; access to Zanaris, which will be more important as you progress through members. The city contains the cosmic altar, the enterance to Puro Puro, a slayer master, fairy rings, and other neat little stuff. Jungle Potion: This will eventually lead up to important quests, such as 'Shilo Village' and 'As A First Resort...' I'd advise not worrying about some of the harder quests people will mention, such as 'Desert Treasure' or 'Monkey Madness', until you get through the basic quests and get started in members.
  2. To have fun. And to increase the risk, so people wont be taking full Bandos with a Armadyl Godsword. No reward, just increased the pressure.
  3. Barrows, and your house. All I know of at the moment.
  4. For some reason a lot of people have problems with this clue. Worked fine for me, just make sure you're right under/against the lens, if you're 1 square out, it won't work.
  5. Well then, here are some key levels to help you decide: Range- 40, 50, 60, 70: Dragonhide armors, offer a great magic defence with decent melee defence, a great choice for fighting magic-based monsters. In order from green, blue, red, and black, respectively. Recommended to get 70 range for black. 50: Magic shortbow - a cheap, basic, and good weapon to train range with. 55: Red chinchompas - if you're willing to spend a ton on training range, using these guys in the right places will give you awesome exp. 61: Rune crossbow - the hands-down best overall range weapon, using the right bolts it will pack a hefty punch 70 range/defence: Karils - barrows armor; better than black dragonhide Prayer- 37: Protect from magic - 100% protection from npc magic attacks 40: Protect from range - 100% protection form npc range attacks 43: Protect from melee - 100% protection from npc melee attacks, a must have 52: Smite - only good for pvp, lowers your opponets prayer by 25% of the damage you deal on them 60: Chivalry - +15% attack, 18% strength, and 20% defence 70: Piety - +20% attack, 23% strength, and 25% defence Magic: 25, 31, 37, 45, 51: Teleports to all the basic locations, how do you live without teleports? 50 magic/slayer: Magic dart, a cheap but very effective spell 55: High level alchemy - converts an item to gold(gp), a very handy spell 60: God spells - after completing the mage arena, you can use these spells (saradomin strike, flames of zamorak, claws of guthix) that are very powerful and have individual side-effects One last thing. I don't know if you're f2p or not, so if you are, disregard most of what I said.
  6. Assuming the second character is a pure, I won't touch that. Is the first one a pure of any kind? If not, you really need to raise attack and defence, and is there any reason why you don't even train prayer, range, and magic?
  7. Our logo has just been decimated, it now says "One [bleep]", and it looks as if the S is in the process of being erased. Edit: Rune is almost completely erased, and I'm very low on ink.
  8. Are you honestly planning on praying melee? That would be unbelievably unnecessary, and a huge waste of prayer potions.
  9. If you're willing to spend money, bring a cannon and fight the soldiers in the western room, setting up your cannon in the middle. It ranks at about 2 or 3 as the best slayer exp in the game. Make sure to bring super antipoisons, and a bunyip or guthans.
  10. They use stab attacks, so chainmail and the like would be the worst. No matter what they're weak to, a whip would be the overall best choice.
  11. Triangles are the strongest geometrical shapes, base it off that, as others have said. When we had to make bridges out of toothpicks, I made a tiny triangular pyramid (finished the actual bridge, this was for fun). It held roughly 2-3x more than the strongest bridge in the class.
  12. Managed to clean all the purple off the 'E' area, using only 10% ink.
  13. I think it's safe to say we won't have a 176,233% price rise on the Grand Exchange for quite a while.
  14. I ate them. Their preppy, gitty lol's are seeping through the unholy depths of my lowest bowels. What happens what you cross-breed a shark with a pteradactyle?
  15. To have fun. You know, that's the general concept that's been kept in mind ever since games were created.
  16. Giving my contact information to all my close friends would be my top priority, then I'd go do the funnest thing I can think of at the moment. Ancients at Castle Wars, Trouble Brewing, revenant slaughtering, or perhaps go find the most serene, breathtaking view in Runescape, and think back on my accomplishments and good times.
  17. Neither of you have good quest points for your level, but his are horrible. Then again, level has very little to do with your quest points.
  18. I used to accept any friend requests, trying to get to know them by talking to them regularly. That doesn't work so well now. Now I try to explain that I don't add people that I don't know or have only talked to for 5 minutes. If they're persistent, I add them and delete them as soon as they're out of my sight. One time and innocent-looking newb asked if he could used my altar to recharge my prayer. I accepted of course, seeing as I was going to my house anyway. Once inside, he instantly asked to be friends, and I tried to explain the usual to him, he continued to say that I could get to know him and such. Poor guy didn't even get a chance to regarge his prayer before I expelled him.
  19. The best one you can use. Higher level slayer masters assign higher level monsters which, in turn, will give you the best combination of exp and drops.
  20. T'was me, I tried to draw over every message on the bottom, but it just didn't do any good -.-
  21. There's no particular level where the skill can be defined as profitable, seeing as many of your tasks will be monsters that don't require a slayer level to kill. If I were to take a guess, I'd say 60, seeing as you can get well over 100-150k in an Aberrant Spectre task. My advice would be to pick up everything you can hold. If you just look for good drops, you won't find yourself getting as much profit in the end. Picking up coin drops alone will pay off the potions and bunyips I use.
  22. They're used as a secondary ingredient in summoning, they'll sell instantly at max. The Duke is on the second floor in Lumbridge Castle.
  23. Melee is the fastest way to kill em. With your best magic defence, either bones to peaches or a bunyip is great here, seeing as they'll do a noticeable amount of damage over time.
  24. I'd personally choose option B, and I'm actually in that situation now. I'd love backing up my first 99 with a trim in no time. On a side note, how fast are fletching addy bolts, and how much does it cost?
  25. From how I interpreted it, he is asking if completing a clue faster increases your chance of getting a rare item. That's exactly what I said.
