What you want your Rs Character to achieve in the next year!
Tim_Finch replied to silasinth's topic in General Discussion
Hope to get 90+ strength, maybe 99, on my newfound zerker pure. 99 attack on my main took about 6 months with casual slayer, so this shouldn't be too bad. Turned him from skiller to zerker just yesterday, so I have much work to do as well. -
Median price on the grand exchange
-
I already have, even though my main isn't banned or anything. I'm challenging myself to get all non-combats on my skiller to the max quest requirements, then eventually all higher than those of my main's. Once I accomplish that, I'll get my combat up and get a second quest cape. It's incredibly fun, and the account is already a raging success.

Wanted: Mass Murder

Sweet fancy moses  -
There's virtually no demand for them at all, making them another junk item (for the time being).

"N00b skillcapes" : they're also skillcapes!
Tim_Finch replied to Demoli's topic in General Discussion
One more point I'd like to state in addition to my previous post: Most people call 99 cooking nooby, but it's the highest level possible. So those people are, in fact, implying that 99 cooking is more nooby than say, 80 cooking? -
do U consider being called noob offensive?

Here's all I need to say to solve the problem: Deal with it. -
PROVE IT There, that's the simple answer we need. Dream on, they'll never make summoning <--- Surprise! Face it, pking's gone, they won't do a thing about it. <--- Except for worlds dedicated to it! Dragon plate? Try fantasy? <--- Reality!

Building it would thus become construction based "Congratulations! You are now level 99-wheel-turning-rope-tying-sail-raising-bucket-bailing!" Thats cool. A skill about reading the same maps of the same ocean, and turning the wheel to get there. With FM, Herblor, Fletch, and WC, there are at least different things to do. Different log types. Arrows for fletching, many different potions for herblor, FM, at least there are pyre and tinder-less firemaking. Don't take the definition of sailing so literal. Just because you yanked something from a dictionary, doesn't mean they can't expand on the definition. And you pulled only 1 consideration from my list to attack. At least think about everything else I said, and it's fairly obvious this could have a lot of potential.

Psst... It was a joke...
-
Although the current evidence doesn't look reliable, I wouldn't toss away the idea that sailing could be coming. Jagex has surprised us before. And I honestly don't see how you people think sailing would be a stupid skill? Think outside the box, it could be more than just taking a boat from port to port. You could own and and personalize your own boat/ship, similar to your POH, and navigate it to convenient locations only available to those with sufficient sailing skills. You could pirate other ships, and engage in vicious sea battles. You could struggle to sail through violent storms and maelstroms. Reach distant lands and resources where you could expand on the current skills of Runescape. Stupid. As opposed to lighting logs? Making potions? Cutting bows? Chopping wood?

Runescape Named One Of The Best Time Wasters
Tim_Finch replied to Warrior_B666's topic in General Discussion
A waste of time would be sitting on a chair and staring. Runescape falls into the entertainment category, which would not be a waste of time. -
rate my f2p outfit
Tim_Finch replied to pmoney15's topic in Achievements (Drops, Bank Pictures and Levels)
Italian you're so mean. :-# Is he not entitled to an opinion? He asked us to rate. I think it looks like a 3/10, but then again F2p doesn't have many options. I personally think wearing the full robe set would look better. -
"N00b skillcapes" : they're also skillcapes!
Tim_Finch replied to Demoli's topic in General Discussion
There are many opinions on this thread, but the only one that matters is yours. Which in most cases, will be: "I'm going to do whatever the hell I want." This seems to be one of the most popular opinions in the thread: This contradicts the definition of liking something. I like the cape, so I want to get it. Refer to the first quote. I'm going to do whatever the hell I want. And if I can't do what I want then why even play the damn game? If a person doesn't even want the cape then that's a different story. But as long as they want the reward, what's to stop them? The potential respect of an insignificant person that they will never meet again? Addressing the person who said anyone with 99 slayer/crafting/herblore etc. is an idiot: If you dont like the skill, then that's why you don't have the cape (if you do have the cape, then you're contradicting your whole argument). How can justify that anyone who likes those skills is an idiot? If the fact that you don't like said skills is your only reason, then your opinion loses all validity right there. I'll restate my central point: I will do whatever the hell I want. I pay no heed to the respect of others, because apparently I would have to play against my own will to do so. What is a game about? Insignificant respect, or doing what you want and having fun? -
26th November 2008 - While Guthix Sleeps
Tim_Finch replied to Johannas's topic in General Discussion
This quest was the most fun I've had on Runescape in years. And with the characters teleporting you everywhere, all the time was spent solving puzzles rather than running around. Took a good 6 hours or so, I wish I could do it over again. I sold the dragon slice for 13m! And some people told me they were unsellable now :P Don't care how much the elite black and Dagon'Hai robes sell for, I'm keeping those. 10/10 for the content and rewards, I must've taken at least 40 screenshots. -

Thanks, but why 7/10? Do you know how long those kills took? :o You know 7/10 is a good rate, right? -
There's already a topic on this.

Try the thread below this that has 26 pages of details on this and everything related to this.

I know 1 person already gave their thought on this, but to the others, do you think the fragments of the dragon plate will rise or fall within the next week? I swear abberant spectres are dropping less herbs just because I need 65 herblore >.> -

Terrific, 4 herblore levels are keeping me from finishing this quest today. That wouldn't be a problem if herbs and seconds were possible to buy -.- I've offers up for irits, kwuarms, and avantoes, and none will buy. I assume most of the other herbs and seconds are the same. -

79 tomorrow or the day after probably. Is MTK still the easiest way to get an egg? -
There's been so many 85 slayer threads in the past few days, this will hardly be noticeable. Well, here it is. I've been working at it since the beginning of summer, since about 90 attack and 75 slayer. I was skeptical that I was going to get it at first, but slayer just became automatic, and then it just came. This is my first 99, and second cape of achievement (next to quest cape). It was too late when I realized that I could've gotten it with 1800 total (5 levels off >.>), which would've of made this x times more epic. Now that I have this out of the way, I can retire to a playing style of serenity. Few skills here and there, plenty of minigames (still haven't tried Stealing Creation, I'm very eager to do so). I'm sure you are all embarassed to see my non-combat skills, so I'll hop on those in a jiffy. I have 2 other accounts that I will attend to more often now; I have a quest pure in the making, and a skiller. Planning on reaching all the quest requirements on my quest pure first, and then lazily working my way towards a second quest cape. I'll have a blast doing some quests over that I've only done in classic. Back to the topic at hand, I present 99 attack and 85 slayer. Got the slayer level on a bloodveld, then killed my first abyssal demon to achieve my first 99. I must say, the Warrior's Guild music really enriched the happy mood. [hide=85 Slayer] [/hide] [hide=99 Attack] [/hide] [hide=The Cape] [/hide] As for any future plans, I don't really have any. I might slowly get 99 cooking to trim the cape (nooby yes? I don't care.), but I don't count on it soon. Although I had a lot of fun, I'm greatly relieved to have the distraction of slayer and combat out of the way. For those curious viewers: - I used Sumona the whole time. I find her tasks much more bearable. - I made roughly 15m from 75-85 slayer. - The abyssal demon I killed dropped 60 pure essence. I thank Deathkill838 and Nojlee for taking their time to visit me during the levels, I appreciate it. I am happy. Rate.

You must be at least 20 combat to log into a Pvp world.
