What if I dont have a familiar? Still natures because the abyss is faster than Entrana by balloon and you can use armor and a pickaxe in the abyss. That makes things much quicker. You can also do laws from the abyss. It would virtually be the same speed, only much more profit.

They're level 23 in the slayer tower. The ones in the Smokey Dungeon are Mighty Banshees, which are level 90. You can easily get 150-200k from herbs and pure essence alone if you chose the ones in the Smokey Dungeon.

Have you finished Smoking Kills? If so, the mighty banshees in the smokey dungeon (level 90) will provide much better experience and drops. There should be plenty of safe spots, but it's multi combat so you'll have to be careful for the first 10-15 minutes.

They are best dealt with by melee, even with your stats. The best place to kill them would be in the Brimhaven dungeon. People will argue that it's not worth it because of the wild dogs, but if you go to the correct spot (just south of the clearing where there's first demons, the spot with 2 respawns) the dogs are hardly a problem. They'll rarely attack you there, and they'll become unaggressive after 10 minutes anyway.

The only way this task won't be annoying as hell is if you cannon them under Sophanem. Using a cannon, it will be a very quick task with a lot of crimson charms (among the fastest in the game). If you truly don't believe in cannons, the second option is to kill them in the marshes just before you get to the quest start of Dealing With Scarabas. You'll be attacked by both melee and range (multi combat), and will take a hefty amount of damage, so guthans would be smart. A bunyip will hardly cover you at all, but I'm sure your sgs will help tremendously.

I was very impressed with what they did. I thought of it as just a new unique atmosphere more than just Halloween spirit. I would be ecstatic if they implemented this into the game, it would add a new, much more realistic touch to some things. Although I don't know how difficult it would be to set it on a cycle relative to your time zone, maybe just add the option to change it to nighttime. Add street lamps and lights in the windows in cities, and it would create a feel that I'd really enjoy ;)

It mentions that Lucien has found a new path, and then theres this: Some have speculated that this could be the opening of the mithril door in the ancient caverns. This could be linked to the new path found by Lucien. Jagex said they'd be leaving all sorts of hints to the new quest, and they encouraged us to investigate/speculate. I don't know a lot about backgrounds and quest story lines you guys have been discussing, but surely this is all related, and we're in for a big bang.
