3rd age armour from clues

i must have dun a few thousand lvl 3 clues with out a sniff of thrid age stuff has anyone had any recently ?

So you've spent about 62.5 days straight getting a doing clues eh? Thats going off you doing 2000 clues, taking 30 mins to get one as a drop and 15 mins to do it.

 

 

 

No need to exaggerate but i know what you mean i have done many clues without 3rd age, i guess it's just rare eh?

It's very rare, that's why it is very expencive, it is possible, but VERY rare.

Anyway as everyone said, 3rd age is incredibly rare. If you do clues jsut to get 3rd age, you might as well give up. It's just too rare and you could spend the rest of your career clue'ing and never get any.

It's rare sure but you shouldn't realy expect it I meen I personally am very unlucky sometimes and if I get a decent thing from a clue I am happy. I fail at luck therefore I skill. I just can't seem to get ahead for long at GWD or slayer but we'll see overtime I guess. I like the sure things but I still Bandos. Anyway what I'm saying is don't expect it because as Jagex and many people here said it's 1 in 10,000 chance so it's very very rare that you get that 10,000th clue with the 3rd age item in it.

I have gotten 1 3rd age piece (a melee plate)...I've done so many clues, and even then on each clue the chance is so low. If you look on these forums, you will barely see any pics of people who have ever gotten 3a, maybe 4-5 people at most.

It's just incredibly rare to get one from a clue. That's your reason. Don't expect it to be spoonfed to you.

thanks everyone i know how rare they am i was just askin who has had sum an what they got all i do on rs is slayer and clue scrolls an i do em virtually as soon as i get them then go back to slayer my (best drop is 2 robins in a clue) im just interested in who got them and was it more than the average 6 part clues ?

Less. I believe there are 12 3rd age items, that makes it 1/120k chance on a specific item or a 1/14,400,000,000 chance on two in the same clue. Wat.

It's very possible. I just had one 8 days ago. 3rd age robe top. I'll even get picture of it. :P And I've only done like 60-70 clues, even less maybe.

Incorrect :wall: . The CHANCE of geeting 3rd age is 1 in 10,000 - you could end up doing 20,000 and still not get a single 3rd age, but then again you could do just 1 and get some 3rd age - depends on your luck .

and it's 1 in 10,000 and that means you have a 1 in 10,000 chance EVERYTIME That doesn't mean that if you do 10,000 clues you'll 3rd age forsure. You could do like 4m clues and not get one. But then you could do 5 clues and get full third age mele.(very very very very very very very very very unlikely) thats just how it works.

The 1 in 10,000 means 1 in 10,000 PER clue. So you do 1 clue, it's 1 in 10,000, another one, same odds, another one, same odds, etc, etc

 

That's like saying when tossing a coin, it's 50% change to get tail (if that's how you call it in english). So in 2 tosses, you have 50 + 50 = 100% change on getting tail. Which obviously isn't true.
