just go farther than you normally would for the 7, and you'll find 2 more. This is where you'll get the wallaski and dagannoths on you. The wallaski won't follow you, and if you step behind the torch between the 7th and the 9th, the melee dagannoths will get stuck behind there.

The EctoVoid Arena/The Temple of EctoVoids, massive idea
Tim_Finch replied to Zaaps1's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Wow, this is one of the most well thought out ideas I've seen here in a long time. Great job. Although, I'm a little negative on the godsword idea, but I guess I'll have to wait and see why once I do the minigame... I support this. Hell, even if they don't implement anything like this, it was still fun to read. -
Puzzle box glitch - making it near impossible to complete
Tim_Finch replied to Tim_Finch's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Was able to solve the puzzle, with a lot of clicking. I had to triple click each piece to move it, and every 4th piece or so got stuck, so I had to reverse my last move to be able to move another 4 pieces. Then on the very next step, I got the same puzzle from the same person with the same problem. A lot of work for 30k. I really hope this doesn't stay here for long. -
I like Knight's out-of-game idea. Perhaps a section in the Player Moderator Centre, or someplace on the website only accessable by moderators. There, mods can access these reports similar to the way you mentioned. But I think you'd need a lot of mods for this system to be effective, as I'm sure most of them wouldn't want to spend a lot of time going through reports, both in-game or out-of-game. Although, I like this idea. Tweak it a little, add things, remove things, and then this has a lot of potential.

Exp for quest rewards to become optional!
Tim_Finch replied to Miner_Guy's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
Why do people do quests? I don't see any other reason than the rewards. If you don't want the reward, then don't do the quest. Runescape is not built for pures, it's built for rounded characters, and the quest rewards reflect that. Let's put this into perspective: You go to a car dealership to buy a car, and you complain to them that you should be able to buy it without brakes. That doesn't make much sense, does it? Cars are supposed to have brakes, and are put to a disadvantage if they don't have them. The dealership isn't going to change that just because you don't want the car as it's supposed to be made. -
Dagannoths are trolls are very good melee experience, I think you should at least give slayer another shot. And I doubt you'll find anything less boring than slayer, because it's pretty much the only way you train melee that isn't repetitive.

Want old PKing back? Heres the solution...
Tim_Finch replied to sirgudi's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
This would make RWT a helluva lot easier, no matter how full the worlds are. First of all, you go to a secluded edge of the level 1 wilderness, where no normal pker would probably go. The odds of somebody coming along while you're transferring are fairly good, but the odds of them being ±1 level than yours are fairly slim. It would still have a risk, but much, much less than Bounty Hunter's crater style. You could still even find a secluded place in the deeper levels of the wild to transfer items, with relatively low risk. -
I live about 20 miles from where Elijah Wood grew up, and the inventor of the grease gun lives like 1-2 miles from us (don't think he still lives there). I think my parents knew him personally. And I live in the middle of nowhere.

Boy, your title is suggestive as hell ;) Yes, I pick my nose. But I usually cover my finger with a kleenex first. I laugh at funny phrases that come to my mind, such as "Rectal rampage" I sing, of course. I stop singing when I hit those real high notes that I can't reach, then my dignity drops a peg. And I also do what everybody else on this thread is thinking of.

Case A: "You know, I'm in excruciating pain right now, but I appreciate your concern." Case B: "I dropped a Cheeto in there, could I have it back?" Case C: "Yes, I did." Case D: "Well... How 'bout that?"

Puzzle box glitch - making it near impossible to complete
Tim_Finch replied to Tim_Finch's topic in RuneScape Suggestions
I was having no lag at all, only very slight graphical lag, but I know that's not the problem at all. I'm trying it on my laptop now to see if it's different. Edit: switching computers/worlds/detail modes did nothing at all. Problem still exists. -
I got a puzzle box for a clue scroll I'm doing, and I'm only able to slide 1 piece before the pieces become 'stuck'. I can click on them, I hear the noise they make when they move, but they don't move. If I exit the puzzle and re-open it, I can move one piece, but my progress is always rolled back one piece. I tried logging out and back in. Fun, now my puzzle is reset, but I can move about 3 pieces before I can't move anymore. I've been trying to complete this puzzle for about half an hour, and have made very little progress. Anybody else having this problem?

The Slayer Ring teleport you to Tarn's Lair, not the Haunted Mine. It'd be a bigger hassle going through that maze again as well. The only way you can get multiple shards is to mine one, drop it, mine another, drop it, etc. Then pick em all up and cut them.

I ran into Saru!
Tim_Finch replied to knight10071's topic in Achievements (Drops, Bank Pictures and Levels)
Wow. Awesome stats for 85 slayer, I respect that. 9/10 -
52-68 should only cost you about 2-3m if you trade in shards for pouches. Even if you can't trade them in yet, I'd keep them until you are able to trade them in. Once you hit 57 summoning, use the Spirit Kyatt to teleport to the Pisctaris obelisk, using a ring of duelling to bank. I was able to get over 600k exp per hour from 57 summoning.

It's 100% safe, hundreds of thousands of people use it, if not millions.
-
You can use stat boosters. I think it's the leaf traps that require 56 agility.
-
I got 3 of them in the wilderness and 1 in the desert, but it can't go into dungeons or places such as that. They aren't exactly worth doing in my opinion. No special items, the only good things I got were a few blue, crimson, and green charms as well as 36 gold charms.

7/10 I <3 lockpicking, although I'm not very good at it.

Doing all the quests is more than worth it, don't worry, you won't be dissapointed ;) I'd even suggest doing Tarn's Lair to get it enchanted. Again, it's more than worth it. If you're honestly opposed to getting a salve amulet, I'd say to go to the monkey guards in Marim. You're free to max out your prayers, seeing as you won't run out.

I don't want them eating food paid for by taxpayer's money, thank you very much. Since when is feeding somebody the best way to starve them? I can't think of a faster, more humane method of taking a life than launching a lead projectile into their head. Hit the right spot, and he'll die before his brain is able to tell the nerves that there is any pain. And it's extremely cheap, too. The only problem that I can think of is cleaning up the mess afterwards. If Fatty McHamburgler complains that his obesity will make him suffer a little before he dies, just take him out back and put him down.
-
I thought you had to complete the miniquest to be able to teleport there, or was that something else... If not, excellent guide. It was such a pain before that I almost wondered if it was worth it or not.

Finally. X_X
Tim_Finch replied to Magikarp's topic in Achievements (Drops, Bank Pictures and Levels)
Who says we're following the first persons rate? We all seem to think this doesn't deserve a particularly high rating, that doesn't mean we're a flock of sheep. -

Tim_Finch replied to Magikarp's topic in Achievements (Drops, Bank Pictures and Levels)
Am I one of the only ones who loved that quest? I did it twice on the same account, and had fun each time (first time I did it in Rsc after Rs2 came out) Anywho, I'll agree with the others with a 3/10. You put up with something annoying for a couple hours, not too special. -
Don't you mean good magic armor? They attack with range and magic, so karil's with protect from range is usually the best option. A crushing weapon is imperative, anything else and you'll barely deal any damage. I prefer the zamorakian spear; as fast as a whip, strong as guthans spear, and very accurate. There's a couple good guides on hunting them in the player made guides section.
