I personally think it would be awesome to own one of these banners. To show that you were one of the select few to go to the first ever Runefest? That's nothing to scoff at, whatever you may say.

I personally take the "no big deal" approach. Problem is, a lot of people won't. Although many other companies do this, Runescape players, especially members because they pay, expect the world of Jagex. Some are just whining that they can't have an very exclusive item; others have legitimate concerns, like RWT or the fact that this is essentially a holiday item that you actually have to pay for.

No one cares that it's just a flag; what matters is that it's an exclusive item. And, uh, yeah, RWT is definitely a possibility. Considering Jagex's track record, I thought they would do anything to stop it. I understand what Jagex is trying to do here, but why the hell would they do it? The public outcry that will come out of this will be a hundred times worse than any benefit it could add. A better solution would have been to allow the banners to be available to all players in a Runescape-wide celebration of Runefest. amiright?
