  1. Hitpoints-76-i kill lots of things Attack 76-i kill lots of things Defence 73-" " " " Strength-72-" " " " Cooking 72-I fish a lot and cook what i fish.
  2. Guthix is THE God, still he's a bit of a [bleep]. I mean neutrality is lame. To expand on that a little:how many posts do we get complaining that people are mean/scammers/hackers etc.. Guthix wouldn't care about these concerns only that there was a balance between hackers and non-hackers. Thats lame.
  3. Staight from elder scrolls series and probably loads of others, but it is a very good idea, i'm not sure why they would be untradeable though.
  4. Im going to bet your one of those that bought a whip from another player. The anchor still seems good to me and it has the added benefit that some people actually have to do something to gain it, unlike the whip were most paid stupid amount of money to get one and then think they have achieved something. I don't own a whip, i apreciate what your saying, I enjoy doing something challenging in game and being rewarded for it, but do you not think for someone to make 1.7 million is an achievement? My beef was that the anchor was a substantial weapon and was overpowered (in relation to its cost-i should have made that clear) and this has been fixed. edit: re-reading my post i see that i made a mistake by saying the anchor was massively overpowered and cheap to replace, i meant that it was overpwowered in relation to its cost to replace. @teebaum:I believe its random chance i've had the bridge scenario twice and once it was lvl 1 route with weak NPC, and the other time it was lvl 2 route with a weak NPC. I got lumberjack legs on the 2nd and nothing on the first.
  5. I take it you're in it for the drops and not the exp then... lol With slayer i look at it this way, if i get an assignment i WILL get xp, regardless of wether its trolls or metal dragons, also slayer to me is not a skill i care about levelling at all not one bit, its incedental that it gets leveled, i do it to train combat and for the lovely drops.
  6. @People whining about the anchor being nurfed, it was a massively overpowered weapon that cost next to nothing to replace. This has been fixed, shutup. I did the quests to be able to do the mini-game today, it's reasonably hard and reaonably enjoyable, unfortunately this is nowhere near enough to please most of the morons who play the game. Seriously if you don't like somethign shutup my eyes hurt from looking at all the [bleep]ing complaints you lot make.
  7. There is loads more they can do with this game, i like the sound of your ideas (possibly not so much if they were actually implemented). Jagex needs to do something bold and unexpected within the year to hold on to its high level players, i think randomly generated scenarios would fit this bill. I know little to nothing about programming and thusly how hard this is to do, but i'm pretty sure its possible (as it has been done in other, much older games). Apart from that they could try to make the game more about a team effort than an individual one, there is great scope for adventuring as a team within the context of the game but there is little to no incentive to do so (the quests that require 2 people are a joke and require no co-operation, only Dk and KQ trips actively encourage you to work as a team).
  8. Having just got my first turoth assignment i'm going with turoths, they hit high, you have to wield a stupid weapon (melee), and they have crap drops. With metal dragons theres always a chance of something decent, and even with my crappy levels i can manage them and make a profit (after anti-fires and runes). Never had Kalphites :) Also i hate hellhounds (oooooo a slightly increased chance of a clue scroll weighed against NO OTHER DROPS)
  9. Hence why i said unless its lag/scam/severe tiredness.
  10. I dont think i have bad luck, unlesss you define bad luck as an absence of good luck which i don't. Bad luck is not accidently alching a blue phat, that is carelessness, unless its cause by scamming/lag/SEVERE tiredness. An example of bad luck would be the fally massacre, anyone killed with anything valuable (to them) on them could say they were victims of bad luck.
  11. None of these categories comes close to describing me, nor does any combination of them. We are all incredibly unique and such categories do us a diservice.
  12. China is basically capitalist now (as in all the government is interested in is the accumulation of wealth and the growth of industry as opposed to having a free press, fair and just judicial system etc). There are many, many, many jobs in China that require no education, all of these jobs are crappy and boring and pay poorly (BY OUR STANDARDS), there is absolutely no way Chinese people are forced to go play Runescape to make money, they chose to and deserve NO SYMPATHY.
  13. You could come back as a superhero, spend all your time in the wildy and save people from pkers. Or........you could......(thinking) try soloing the Kq with a rubber chicken. I dunno really if nothing in the game interests you anymore then i don't think anything can persuade you to play it.
  14. Lvl 1348, my net (bank worth) is almost certainly in excess of 10 million.
  15. Same, makes me happy. I think it's a very good thing that Jagex are concentrating on refining the features that already exist.
  16. Ive seen 100's getting pwnt by fire giants. They hit highish and quite often, its inefficient for me to melee them and my defence is 72. Hope that helps.
  17. Fighting my mirhril armour in warrior guild, guy next to me in veracs gets hit high for 5 hits in a row (fighting adamant armour) doesnt eat=1 ring of wealth, 1 glory ammy, veracs helm (:)), rune boots, obby cape and some food. I'd say that was lucky for me (obviously not for them), didn't get his name, something really stupid like jlxbveh617nm3n981 so not really my fault. Apart from that i have terrible luck, but i guess thats lucky enough to make up for 6 months of bad luck (this also happens to me in real life).
  18. I lol'ed. hehe. TBH, I have never in my life played WoW. Maybe I should give it a try? I wish I had instead of THAT game.. God.. what a waste of time and cash. ~Defender~ wow is not a waste of time, WoW has 8 million subscribers and counting...imagine, compare that to runescapes 200k players if u had a classroom with 40 kids....the 39 kids would be WoW players and only 1 kid would be a runescape player.... Well its not WoW, and I never said WoW was a waste of time. And no, its not last chaos either. Trust me, this game, its community and its company is a nightmare! I'm so shocked that they are still alive today! Maybe after they die, it will be safe to reveal the name. All i'm saying is, you guys should DEFINATLY be thankful for Runescape! ~Defender~ the community and the company itself in runescape is also a total screw up... :? you cant give facts that WoW only gets the bad sides cause of the different standards it has. so what if its 15 bucks a month, id pay 5 more if the game gave me motivation and a balanced game-play without the addiction. What the hell are you talking about? noone cares how good WOW is and how insecure you are about even the tiniest bit of criticism of it. In fact the post starter has ONLY said hes never played it should he try it? This is not criticism you have to defend against. Seriously unless i'm missing something this is how the conbversation has gone : Post starter: i played this game its really bad, its not WOW which i have never played. You:hey WOW rules, its the most awesome thing ever invented how dare you say otherwise!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously.
  19. Runescape is a good game with a good company running it, all those who complain would be shocked by some of the appaling games out there.
  20. Several people are saying this, why?The sigs probably take up a considerable amount of bandwith and add nothing to the gaming experience, i like the sigs but can live without, Jagex is a company designed to make money, this is merely an attempt to cut (uneccesary) costs and is perfectly justified. As for no bookmarking I never did it but i can see why this is annoying for people who used to bookmark. I don't think Jagex will limit the amount of time you can play a day as there is no way to justify this other than saying we want more money for giving you less, which they wont do.
  21. I'm sure you mean if you are innocent and are banned rather than guilty and banned, because if its the latter then thats basically bribery. Either way i am against paying more money than i do already for something which should have been budgeted better. Although i do feel that many players underestimate how hard it must be to deal with the thousands of abuse reports/emails Jagex most certainly receives a DAY.
  22. There is no use in a (real life)diamond ring (a diamond yes, a diamond ring no) yet they are incredibly valuable, same goes for the rares in Runescape. As far as im concerned if i ever get the money to buy a rare it will be as an investment not something for show.
  23. I don't think its neccesary (or particularily useful) to spend the amount of time it will take to do this. I honestly don't think its worth the time it will take to colate(sp?) all the data.
  24. @post creator: I agree with your points, at a higher level it is inefficient to mine 2000 coal and 1000 iron ore (example) to smith to bars and then sell because in the time taken to do so you could have made more money/gained more exp in other skills. I personally like to gather as many raw materials as i can but sometimes lack the willpower to mine/fish/chop several thousand things and resort to buying them, because the end result is something you can sell/alch (generally for more money than what the raw materials cost you)so you are not losing money and gaining exp, the only loss is the exp in the gathering skill. @flamers:what this guy is saying is that the primary skills (resource gathering) are too slow and that this can be bypassed by paying for the resources to be gathered for you, which benefits you (time saved) and the seller (money gained).
  25. I've grown to empathise with the higher lvls attitude, because (im a fairly lowly lvl 89) barely a day goes by when someone asks for help, this IS fine the problem comes when you've spent 30 mins helping them and then they ask for more help, you help them again and they want...more help. I can see how it becomes quickly tedious. The problem is that many of the people asking for help cannot even use online guides properly and thus you have to walk them through a quest you did 3 months ago/walk them to certain monsters, and it is very rare that these people appreciate the time you took to help, they think he helped me, hes nice hell help me again and again and again. Also I've seen people mocking high leveled people merely for being high leveled, which isnt nice.
