Ive heard this is better than ratchet and clank which is one of my favourite games and exclusive games on any system 2007 and is what tomb raider should have been.Still yet to buy it but i will play it eventually,im more interested in burnout paradise.

I hate assasins creed because of the repetitiveness and the freakin ending.Its obvious if youve reached it that its going to be anualised and franchised and that is not what they promised.An epic movie type story and what movie ends with"wait for the next installment".

Martyrdom is so overated.So many people use it that last stand is a much better perk for racking up kills.People expect the grenade to drop so they are unaware off the guy still alive on the ground(the very good players take another pop shot just to check they are dead) until they see down the eyesight of a magnum on kill cam.It does have a floor with the map shipment because theyres so much chaos that youre dead after a few seconds of last stand mode. Anyway i thought about going prestige but im just leveling up my shotgun skills.Ive honestly never played as a shotgunner so its a totally new experience which isnt too much differant than the setup i play but the close up power and one shot kills change youre strategys.Ive also never played an assault rifle class or heavy gunner too much because its not my style but ill play it....and i want to get some of the challenges done on the lists.

5)Guitar hero 3-would have been higher but its turned into too much of a game.Previousley you played the game for the music but with boss battles and all these crazy modes its just a game now.It now means i cant wait for rock band which is what guitar hero used to be but with drums. 4)Bioshock-One of the best storys of any game and has such a differant locale to anything weve ever seen.However theirs no replay value because of the linear story which has so many twists which dont work the secind time round. 3)Ratchet and clank future:tools of destruction-im such a fan of ratchet and clank and this is such fan service and its one of the most visually stunning games ive ever played.Cant wait for the sequal. 2)Call of duty 4-Love it-was one of the first to play it during the charlie oscar delta beta launch and ive played a hundred plus hours of the multiplayer and that doesnt even include the simply aww inspiring single player. 1)The orange box particularily portal-i hadnt played any of the halflife 2 games yet so i picked this up and it changed everything ive become accustomed to the pacing that halflife has perfected.Halflife episode 1 was a little bit of an anti climax but episode 2 made up for it. Team fortress 2-i havent really had chance to play this because when i got it the servers wete really bad on consoles so i continued playing cod 4.Ill try it outbecause i heard its polished to within an inch of its life and its something that isnt hard to get into unlike cod 4. Now portal,i temnd to agree with what nadril said.Its the most surprising game of the year,the best voice acting and humour of the year,best game mechanic of the year most fun ive had all year.Its an industry shifting game and im realy looking forward to how they intergrate dowloadable content or even intergrate the portal gun in game.Im thinking of getting this off steam so i have the ability to play portal whenever and not have to deal with the console version. for next years game of the year its a tie between metal gear solid 4 and little big planet which im dying to play.Ive emailed the designers at media molecule about when the beta is coming out and if i can get into it if its a private one.I probably wont because im a jaded fan and will just think that its all awesome :P edit: Shame of the year Assasins creed:ok ubisoft just give me the other half of the game rather than blatantly franchise it.The assasinations are boring as hell,tehirs no disctinction between the environments but a differant coloured tint and a few differant facial mocaps,they created a huge overworld which is butiful yet you can just skip wright through it.I hate it and i was poking kevin vanord who gave this AAA 9.0.Ah well returned it and got some store credit in time for burnout paradise

Go show us a screenshot of youre super character then nadril :P My cousin plays this and is heavily enamered with it.I know he has a lvl 70 female(dont ask why he says they look better) blood elf priest and a lvl 70 zombie(looked like a zombie with skeleton bits,i dont play wow :P ) warlock. He was trying to get me into wow because he knew i was pretty good at runescape but i dont have the time to get engrossed with wow even though it looks so much better. anyway nadril lets see it :P

i knew you were going to say that :P The problem is though youre sluggish as hell.With most players opting to be super agile youre typical player can get to shooting distance in a few seconds and the snipers usually within the area.The only way snipers work effectivly is if you get a man to cover them or load the hell up on clay mores and plant them on all entry points yet theyre gonna come back knowing you have no more claymores.Not only that but if you play multiplayer shooters like this you will know that grenades are used in such abundance.If you see the grendae warning sign whilst looking down youre scope youve had it. Anyway sipers are way underpowered in my oppinion and apart from a few maps with open areas and visible choke points from a distance you never really see them racking up the kill count(although you could argue that snipers are tactical classes and are designed to setup traps).Knowing Infinity Ward we probably wont see a patch rectifying this and its so disspointing after i and many others were complaining about this during the cod4 beta. Ah well ill stop moaning :P

I quite like shipment.A good sniper can get a few good kills on the gantrys and when the laptop spawns in the bridge rooms at either end its perfect for snipers to pick them off. Speaking of snipers i hate how kill cam nerfs them.Even the best snipers get blown to bits after 4-5 kills because theyve spawned and theyve gone chasing you down. Id love a sniper exclusive perk which gets rid of kill cam on them because it almost defeats the nature of them.You spend all tht time laying down on that spot, making you a sitting duck and when teh player who was target views the kill cam they know where he is. [rant]end[rant] oh and as i said earlier i played a team deathmatch game earlier in vacant and i got seriousley ganked for not going prestige.i got 58 kills and 40+ deaths :oops: :P Still not going prestige im not that enamered with the game

I think that by july blu-ray will have so many studio's adopting it that it will kill off HD-DvD.Unless studios do a 180 and revert to HD-DVD then it will be over.Blu-ray is selling more and its the one technically preffered by studios. Obviousley teh discs will still be in circulation after the win for a year or so whilst teh back catalogs are being conveted but i think this is a critical blow for blu-ray.

Andu you know just how bad i was with agility doing it in 5 months when i could have done it in 1 1/2 :P Having more than one goal helps because you can switch between the two. Anway do what you want to do.I trust that you can get this 99 because theyres nothing stopping you,the balls in youre court and its upto you to take it on and think you can do it.

This happened to red chinchompas,When hunting was released red chinchompas were considered a novelty ranbge weapon so tehy wer going 200-300gp each.Then someone wote up what was a fantastic guide on the best range exp in game using red chinchompas in the ape attoll skeleton dungeon.When peopletested this out and got 250k+ range exp an hour they shot upto as much as 1.2k gp each at their peak(although i sold 30k for 1.1k ea). Peopel went crazy and wanted to get hunting up knowing of teh amazing profits you could make causing them to crash and the bubble to pop.They dropped to 750-850 gp ea whgere they stabilized. Another thing is that someone here had pics of hunting autoers being seen training at tropical wagtails and even a few frantically hunting red chinchompas at the most western spot.This made chinchompas crash again in fear to around 350-400ea.Then a few days later they rose up again back to 750-850 after their was a rumour that the amount of randoms in the feldip hunting area had been increased breaking the algorithim the marcoers use(i cant remember the word someone used to explain it). As i see it its indicticitive of p ess but on a way smaller scale.Nats and high alching is teh fuel that runs the engine of the economy and for many players their only real money maker.

The prestige mode is a good smack talk mode.I keep getting smack talk over voice chat(which doesnt really happen over psn) to go prestige. oh btw what are youre favourite maps?Mines crash with the crashed helicopter in the middle and that big tower.Its a great map in headquarters because of all the buildings and when the hq is in teh tower and you can get their first you can turn the whole game around. My other one is shipment which is such a cliche map with crates everwhere :roll: but the fact that its such a tight map and youre always racking up kills is so fun.My highest is 130+ kills with 15 deaths on that map(once you get the helicopters in and get youre uav up youre getting tonnes of kills)

Ive seen a few people using these at dust devils.They camp down their for weeks for d chains using the sgs primarily.When they need a health boost they use teh spec and tehy can camp a few more of them.Its far better than the method i used of healing on teh elementals with guthans for a second or so,a lot of time it backfires :P. Im surprised armadyll is still going for more though.Now dueling and pking has gone in its classic state it doesnt really have an application,wheras SGS has many(and it looks better imo)

Im done with cod 4 multiplayer. I got to level 55 and got the red tiger camoflage on my p90 so im done.Im not going prestige and losing what ive done and anyway the number of people playing is dying down so instead of full matches where getting teams of 3-4 where the team of 3 just drops out not really giving us a game. Honestly match fixing is absloutely terrible in that game...but i still love the multiplayer

Well since this things been bumped ill give you an update on what ive been doing.Not much really.Its a weird time because me and my brothers are off school,my mums obviousley not working and my dads been made redundant which means that no money is coming into the household,where living off my dads redundancy which is about ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã21,000 so my dad needs to find a job soon or else where screwed :(.No fear though because hes already got about 6 offerings in the past 24 hours so it shouldnt take long,i think hes staling it so he can have an extended holiday :P i would.Anyway ive gone cold on rs,i thought it would be hard to just not play it and theyre has been plenty of chances when i could have logged on but i just havent(except for when i put all my stuff in my rate this picture back in my bank).I have been watching some of my absolute favourite comedys Black Books,that Mitchell and Webb look and Jonathan Creek which i mentioned to andufus and he was like "oh i remember that ages ago...Wasnt that about murders?" but a lot of the time it is really funny.I'm such a jonathan creek fanboy even visiting the windmill a while ago which was rather dissapointing without the parathenalia inside it but anyways it was great to see it. Anyway still been regularily posting on tif if not more now that im not posting on the forums in the backgrounds of rs>Still been doing some TET stuff despite making a thread in the lounge to all the members that i'd quit TET,must have forgot to revoke my badge :P or they still love .I also had more time to write a few more editorials for the gaming website gamespot because ive always been a gamer, i played call of duty 4 and orange box to death over my study leave and christmas break so i shared my thoughts on those. School starts on monday and i cant wait.Its been a month and a half since ive seen some of them because ive been on study leave and i cant wait to see what theyve been upto :).It also when i will be busy 25 hours of the day,yes i did say 25 im gonna push the envelope of time to finish schoolwork look after my mum and still find time for hobbies and stuff. I just wonder how long runescape will last and if it will make the 10 year mark.Just puts it into perspective that for 7 years this game has been developed and continued in the fashion that it has with such old tech and with only starcraft being a bigger dinosaur.Quite an impressive enterprise really. Well with jagex pretty much ko ing real world trading for good have they forgot about another type of real world trading,account selling? I remember watching a special documentry on BBC 2 a couple of years ago about the selling of virtual property over the internet.The examples they focused on was star wars galaxies and second life.The first coming under scrutiny over storys of chinese sweatshops and even a death from a worker who sat grinding the game for many days in a row.The latter example was about the whole idea of people making millions off second life exchanging the in game currency for dollars. Anyway ill focus on the first.With the changes theyve made to stop trading items without a balance theyve forced that way of farming gold and transferring materials out of the game,or at least made it ridiculousley inconveniant.Now the reason i brought up my story was because it wasnt the farming of materials,it was the farming of exp.Grinding exp on accounts which would eventually be sold onto players. A hypothetical example would be a maxed out character being sold for $400-$500. I know that it wouldnt take long for people to realise that this sort of thing is going on because its a maxed out character buts its just an example.But now that these real world traders have been forced out of the traditional ways of making money of this genre of gaming is this the alternative. Could you imagine seeing players with random names just hoarding youre favourite training spot or a "high level" player asking you for the directions to lumbridge and begging for stuff? I cant but i think jagex overlooked this or saw it as a problem because theirs nothing from me telling you my username and password here?Nothing, which could make exp farmers endlessly slaying rock crabs or running laps around the various agility courses a very distinct sight. kris

What you guys are forgetting is that by stopping rwt for the past coupe of years theyve been putting their profit margins as a lesser prioritie than rwt. Youve gotta give them credit for what theyre doing because look at games like wow and guild wars.I quit guild wars because everyone on the server was a farmer #-o

Of course concept art looks better than the real thing.Case in point Yo[cabbage]ak-a Amano.Anyone who has seen his concept art for some if not all the final fantasys will agree that its aww inspiring.The wispy style cannot be recreated on computer programs and super ceeds the technoligy curve that the game will be on.However it depicts the essence of what that creature/human/item embodies. Im not a big fan of his art anyway.Very derivative of the wow style with thick lines,very simplistic with some effects.Theirs something else but i just cant describe it.Anyway thats the end of me rabbling on.

That king of fighters sprite is so overdone which is why this sig doesnt really impress me.The text is a little poor aswell. still its a 7/10 good effects on the sprite.
