I can support this 110% - it's time to rollback pure ess. They should use whatever ratio the GE has for prices (3:1?) to make it fair for all.

I like to superheat at mines. For example: You can get a fire staff, a pile of nats, a pick and then head to Lumby mines. Mine the addy, then the mith then start mining coal. When you fill up on coal, start superheating. If the addy or mith has respawned, mine them again, elsewise mine more coal and superheat again. Do this until your pack is full of bars. Then go bank, go back to the mine and do it all again. You will see lots of mith superheaters in the mining guild. Any place where there are 3 or 4 major ores and a lot of coal is a good place to superheat.

It's always good karma to pay your debts. You can always pay what you owe, not extend your membership and walk away from the character.

Muting is for the rest of us - so we don't have to read screens full of leetspeak foul language and qp graphics. It's not supposed to prevent the muted player from going about his quiet business.

You should count how many seeds of each type you get from those nests. I'd love to know how many seeds out of a thousand are yew / calquat / mage / spirit / etc.

You can't get eggs from moleskin nests.

I doubt they will ever be removed either, but I could see Jagex de-monetizing them (making them non-tradable, replacable by Diango, like rabbit ears or scythes). They weren't afraid to get in the face of PKers and stakers; why should rares owners feel any safer? That would be a shame, IMO, because rares aren't the symbols of corruption many people make them out to be. They will always be souvenirs of an earlier, better time in my book. They are the "inverted Jennys" of the Runescape world.

I bought 100 moleskins in the GE recently, hoping for eggs. All I got were some very expensive allotment seeds and a yew seed. I am certain you can't get eggs from moleskin trades. EDIT - Angat14's post below is utter BS - you should ignore it.

Mine soft clay and sell it in the exchange. You only need level 1 mining and it is always in demand.

There's a crack in the wall, past the avalanche you used during the quest. It takes you straight to the icelords room. You don't need your ID or a penguin suit to get into the icelords room. You use those to get into the agility course.

There is also a seller near the Dark Knight's Fortress. Unless the cape seller locations have changed drastically, they seem to be marked on the Tip.It Wilderness Map.

Personally, I'd go to the Smoke Dungeon. The only people there are after dusties, and you can make easy bank runs to Sophanem (if you have done the Contact quest). Oops... forgot about the ranging part - I don't think there are safe spots for Fire Giants in the Smoke Dungeon.

But your ARE making a loss by not selling the stuff to begin with.. Eh... PKers had gutted that market long before the GE came into being. I had given up on selling smithed items - I was being undercut by people offloading PK loot. What's worse is that people in the markets expected me to smith rune items on demand at the same prices that PKers were selling at. Scimitars were so cheap it was heartbreaking. Maybe you can still sell claws, squares & warhammers to clue farmers... but there's no bulk smithing market outside of high alching for the best return you can get. So I mine my own ores, make my own nats, high alch rune swords and make a profit that way.

I never said I was in it for training smithing and/or magic, though, now did I? This thread is about making a profit with rune ores. I make one. =D>

I personally mine rune ores for my own use. I smith rune swords and high alch them for 12,480 each. As I pay nothing for the ores, it's all profit for me (yes, I craft my own nats). People who gather their own resources are still making money. People who don't are writing long theses on fan sites about how the economy no longer works. As for me, I am laughing all the way to the bank.

They haven't taken this out; I just smithed and high alched a few golden bowls as a test. The only real use for it is if you high alch your gold bars; you can high alch a golden bowl (2 bars) for 420gp with 1 nat. So you only use half as many nats with bowls as you would with amulets or such.

Hey? I don't quite understand, would you mind rephrasing that? You seem to be saying that atheists are theists and they believe in every god but yours while you believe in every god, including the Judeo-Christian one. Actually, he can't honestly make the claim that I am a theist at all, for I have not claimed to believe in any god. To be a theist, you have to believe in at least one. :lol:

I wouldn't mind a resolution upgrade, as long as they kept 800 x 600 around as an option. I usually do 2 things at once, and my monitor is 1400 pixels wide, and it's nice to run RS and TV side-by-side.

It could still be penguins... maybe it's time to get my penguin suit & KGP card out and go sleuthing...
