  1. Star Trek invented cell phones. Among many otehr things. I don't see teleportation in our future though :/
  2. You thought of lemon juice before you thought of white out? :-k Hmm...
  3. Where a condom guys. C'mon. That's like first grade or something. As for magegoogles, I hope it all works out well. Be proud that you may have a kid soon. It's really a beautiful thing. Planned or otherwise. Lent: give you're buddy a high five for me. Then slap him for thinking he could get away with out a rubber. Especially in your filthy town [as you've mentioned before].
  4. I support that claim a whole lot. It's hard to turn my damn brain off sometimes :wall:
  5. Let her be your wingman, girls are better at it than guys. Plus if you're with a hot girl it's an instant dhv. This might be true. I have a few friends of the female gender, most of which would be awful at being wing[wo]men. But you might be right on this one? At the same time though, I don't want to ruin any future options with her...so I may not resort to using her as a wing[wo]man. I'm still figuring her out. If she's not into guys at all - than yeah. Her induction as my partner in crime will be immidiate. But if she's even slightly attracted to guys, I think I'll hold off. I can't imagine a girl would un-friendzone a wingmate. Then again, I'm begining to dabble in unfamiliar territory. Just my assumption [GOD LOOK AT ME RAMBLE]. I'm putting her as 'friend I flirt with alot' until I figure her sexual orientation out.
  6. Seriously ?! How can you not like 60s and 70s? I'm not gonna flame but I highly recommend them since you get The Beatles and Velvet Underground.. And also 90s has Nirvana and Incubus! SICK. I feel the need to reply to the post again maybe.. i think the 00s will be remembered for the 'digital age' of music, after all you get all these people who just got popular off of Myspace or their own self-published work on the Internet, There are no stand out decade defining bands like most decades in my opinion, but certainly music as something we listen to changed totally, Spotify, Youtube, Myspace etc I agree. It's not so much the music, but how we listen to it. iPods, Myspace, Youtube. That's what really defines the 00's
  7. Turns out the girl I've been chasin has a girlfriend. That's what I get for picking up girls at a GSA dance. FML. Oh well, she'll make a great friend, despite my high attraction to her. Time to move into plan B.
  8. Welcome to maturity Sometimes it takes other people's problems to realize what exactly is going on in our own
  9. You lost a loooooot of street cred in this one. And unfortuante side effect of swallowing ones pride enough to ask for help. But everyone's got problems. Why should I be any different? ;)
  10. Screamo can be good, but I have to admit I much prefer Metalcore and Post Hardcore, which are both usually conglamorated under the same label.
  11. I'm going with yes. 00-03 Nu-Metal [and the fall of] 04-08 Post hardcore [and the scene/emo kids that came with it] 09-10 Pop/Dance w/ AutoTning [making for some interesting club hits, and fun artists like Lady Gaga and Ke$ha]
  12. I was concerened at first, but then I realized what was going on. I chuckled thereafter.
  13. might be true, but those three months would be hella fun Read your posts ITT, it's not hella fun to be in a casual relationship with someone you're emotionally attached to. Walked right into that one didn't I? doc_roe3, I'd like to read your story given that it is all true. I'm not one to tl;dr on this thread. Every last detail counts. And to shredthehegnar91, I retract my statement now that I've been confirmed of just how emotionally attatched you were. You are probably best off moving on as quickly as possible. That way you're not stuck in the mood you're in now for the begining of college. Best to get rid of the "empty" feelings over the summer when it won't effect you socially in your new environment.

  15. End of story. You win. She's bailing before she can hurt you. no, she won't forget you. Although, you will probably grow apart. But hell, enjoy this while you can. It's not all bad. Hope you weren't too emotionally attatched with her. She kept your sweat shirt. You obviously meant something. yea i suppose. she also said the timing was bad. and i was pretty attatched to her, and she was also attatched to me, not as much as I was. I still wish I could have continued this story, this was the closest thing to intense love I had for her. Yeah it hurts when chicks you like bail out. I say hang in there for the friends with benefits thing over the summer, and then decide if you want to attempt to pursue her into college [not recommended] or gradually grow away from her after the summer and find a girl that has "better timing" [recommended].

As long as you're in that direction, stop by Wildwood. I'll be there from now til Sunday ;)
  18. I agree. They look a bit shooped. I'm curious to see his eye color without added effects or makeup. Like a straight-out-of-the-shower kind of look. Sweet hair though
  19. Our society spits out disgusting excuses for human beings. But I blame human nature. Not so much society. But bottomline: it corrupts.
  20. If you're the third wheel? Don't be. Command the conversation to interest all three parties. It's up to them not to make it awkward. If they do...find an excuse to leave them be and entertain yourself. Most couples are considerate enough to only make it awkward for you once, realize their mistake and chill around you there after. Flirting with grls when parents are around? I can't do it. I can't speak in general around my parents. Not that I don't get along with them...I am just not very close with them. at all. So if i see a girl near any of her/my faimly - I instantly freeze up and can't do anything. Sad. IamDan: I like that. I like that alot. I'm putting that in my vault of one liners. And thanks for the extra tips. My problem mostly enlies with defaulting to "boring" conversations like the classic "hey whats up". Lame. But I think I'm starting to get a feel for better alternatives. So I thank you.
  21. Yeah it's not something you do to a friend the first time. Plus you're 15 so it's not a good idea anyway, it's great at 18-19+ Yeah I'd like a section on texting if you please. As for the book? I'll see if I can get it illegally. I'm not payin for jack though. I also enjoy the recent explosion of posts on the thread. Shame for the reasoning though. I like hearing good news on this thread. But yeah, summer seems to end a lot of relationships. Atleast so far. But towards mid-summer into September, there'll be more "I like a girl, how can i get her to be mine?"
  22. Yes, but thinking there can only be one lover for each person shows some immaturity in the way he views relationships. Therefore, considering most teens don't know what they're talking about when they throw around the word "love" and Jaker's view of it, I think it's safe to say he doesn't know what it is. Look, jake, it wouldn't make sense for you to be jealous if you didn't want to be more than friends. Maybe you're afraid it's not going to work out and crush your friendship, maybe it's the way you view love as a one-time thing, but you're not admitting that. As far as I can tell, you're in a kind of denial. And if you are, you're not going to get anywhere unless you face that. I'm stupid, I get jealous over stupid things. Of course I'm in denial. I've accepted I'm in denial. I don't care though. I would rather pretend everything is A-OK right now. You sound just like me  How long did you say you've been lurking? Cause seriously, if you ever get bored for a few days, just re-read this thread. You can see me making the exact same flawed argument like a dozen times.
  23. THANK YOU I needed a site like that. I'm terrible at texting woman folk. Atleast one's I'm trying to get with anyway. Bogus or not, I'm sure some aspects are useful.
  24. I'm just saying, it's much easier to cross "territories" than you might think. I'm not saying go find a chick and [bleep] her brains out. but finding a new chick would be beneficial to you. Maybe not a 15 year old given your presonality. You might want to look for a 16-17 year old fresh out of a relationship. They'll look for your type of compassion. Anyway, yeah. Mentally prepare yourself. Not a bad idea. Good luck my friend.
