  1. Hmmm... Mayjest the Mad... I could totally see that happening. Except for the fact that I couldn't afford 0.6% of a Cracker, I think it's a great idea!
  2. Has anyone else noticed a big increase in the amount of Implings outside the minigame? When the minigame first came out I'd see one or two around the world, which made me want to catch them all, even the babies as they were still uncommon. Now I seem to see ones everywhere. Has the amount of Implings been increased, or have I simply been a lot more lucky since the last update?
  3. Banned for selling gold to duke. See, the names of rich people aren't affecting me, I'm just sitting here in shock that Duke god banned. I did not know this, and it's quite shocking. R2 getting banned as well is a shock, although less of one (I remember his posts on here of a couple of years ago, very arrogant person). Does anyone have a link to Duke's post about his reasons? I'd be very interested in reading that.
  4. Meh, it's not like most of us have the silverlight any more anyway. Darklight ftw!
  5. Not like-ing the slash through the 0. It makes me think that something is wrong with the system, or whatever I'm doing!
  6. See, my problem is that I read through each of those messages, I pay attention to what's being said during quests... but I just can't remember it afterwards. For example, I did the Shilo Village quest so long ago that when someone asked me where the tomb was (I was after a gout tuber and they walked past) I had absolutely no idea what he was talking about! So the discussions that happen on here about potential updates, I need them, and I need people like you to come along and shoot them down, because otherwise I have completely forgotten about the backstory to a quest series. Seriously, I can read through the quest list (a nice big expanse of green, except for two yellows) and tell you everything that happens in maybe 10% of those quests. In some I remember nothing.
  7. Right now, the choice is the same as it is with every other production skill. Take mining for example. You can either get to 99 by mining coal and selling it, which would make you filthy rich. Or you can powermine and drop granite, which gives you nothing but experience. It's the same principle here.
  8. Well, considering I have only seen one RC Pker in all the time I have spent running through the Abyss (which is admittedly not a long time) I doubt the numbers can get any lower. Those who want money will still use the abyss, those who want exp will use the new altar. I will use either depending on what I want. As I don't sell/buy raw materials, I make all my Nats myself. If I find my self short of Nats, I shall use the abyss to a make a couple of k's worth. If I want to get a quick RC-ing level to get my total level up, or to reach a goal, then I shall use the new altar. It will depend on what I want at the time.
  9. When people beg me I give them advice, tell them ways of making money. It helps them more in the long run. If they ignore my advice, then it's not exactly my problem.
  10. Coz I already have over 1000 from trying for the gout tuber, and i've got nowhere. I'm jut wondering if there's a more efficient way.
  11. Ok, no way am I paying 200k+ just to get an achievment diary task, so I'm in the village hacking away at the jungle. My question is, what is the most efficient way of doing it? Just hack away at light, dropping the spars? Or going with medium and actually repairing the fence? Anyone have an idea?
  12. I reckon that, although the actual dungeon may not have been in development this long, the technology behind has been worked on for ages. As sad above, remember the NPCs fighting update? I reckon that was the same team (or team leader) behind GWD, testing the engine as to whether it could manage it.
  13. I use a few other fansites for their databases (although refuse to use Zybez because of their advertising policy, no matter how good their price guide is), but I don't recall ever using their forums. Wait, I lie. I was on RSBandB's for a while, but left that when I left RS, and having been back since I got back.
  14. Those of us who like the 'anything goes' part of the wilderness are generally the ones not there to kill other players. If I'm being attacked by a player, then I WILL be running south with whatever protect prayer is necessary. I will log out as soon as I'm able. I will teleport if I can. We're normally not wearing full combat gear. Staying defensive will keep us alive.
  15. I myself have only got about wave 8... then I get bored and leave. Seriously, I don't know how people can stand the boredom.
  16. How about 'no def nub'? sounds good It should be shortened to nodefub. Thats alot more interesting i think. How would you pronounce that exactly? "Node-fub"? Or "No-De-Fub"?
  17. I'd probably buy a couple sets of Guthans and save the rest.
  18. Well, everyone said that Nintendo was for kids, yet when they advertise they sponsor things like the Friday Night Project and the X-Games tournaments... hardly things designed for 10 year olds. Jagex could well do the same thing. I'd put the odds of a Runescape TV ad at about 10% though... not worth betting on.
  19. You can narrow everything down to a simple option of just buy - make - sell (or 'just killing') and make pretty much any skill easy. I think it's more about how much work is involved - and that depends on how much you're willing to buy. For example, I am completely self sufficient - if I can gather something for free I won't pay for it (I won't even gather resources then sell for money!). I even delayed completing DT just so I could get the magic logs myself. So for me, any skill that requires other things to work is hard as I have to gather those items first. Herblore and Farming are probably the worst as decent herbs and seeds are fairly rare for someone who won't pay. Construction isn't great either as I'm not exactly the richest out there... So all skills are fairly hard for me...
  20. The only one I've even heard of that 'works' since the ditch update is the "drop coins over the ditch and hope they go for it" scam. In which case, telegrab is your friend ;) You never touch the wilderness, and you make whatever money they promised you at the drop party or whatever excuse they use.
  21. No problem here. You sure you typed the address correctly?
  22. They do not drop Dragon Boots. I've done around 400+ of these for slayer, and all they're good for is sucking my food dry. Seriously. I just bulthorpe and hope for a better task next time.
  23. Spiritual Rangers honestly aren't worth the bother. Unless there's more in the other encampments (only tried Zamorak as it was the easiest for me to get into at the time) there's only one. And although the respawn time is quick it's still a drag having to wait for it. The drops are also fairly naff, everything either easily makable else where or worthless. I just Bulthorpe them now. And I've killed over 400 on Slayer tasks. I just got seriously bored of them. I might try Armydles encampment next time as I'm working on range now rather than melee.
  24. Ergh It has been proved several times with reference The Empty Lord IS another name for Zamorak and has NO link to Zaros Could you direct me to where it was revealed that Zamorak is the empty lord because we are told that Zaros is the empty lord at the end of the Ghostly Robes mini-quest Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Zamorak the one referred to in MP1? When you Eila or who ever she is all about what's happened in the last three quests, isn't Zamorak specifically mentioned. And I think it has to Zamorak mentioned, as I don't think Zaros had been invented by Jagex when Regicide came out. Certainly by MP1, but I don't think they went back to change stuff.
  25. The OOC will be delighted to know that I just 47 noted cabbages from a Warped Tortoise. Oh, and I got 20 Swamp Tar in one drop, so it can give lower than 25. Edit: also, 10 swamp tar and 39 cabbage!
