  1. I'll dump them inside the regular attack/strength potions, then empty the vials (I never seem to have enough vials...). Those things just waste space in my bank anyway, so why not?
  2. Completely ignoring all this conversation about mith dragons... what do people think about this new type of fishing? The Exp for it seems nice, but as someone who fishes for the fish, not the money or exp, maybe someone else could comment? Camp-fish at lake, games necklace to barb outpost, deposit the fish and run back down?
  3. Not everyone trains combat either  Why shouldn't it take both skills and melee to access a dragon large? Rather than exclude players, I think jagex should include as many as possible in the new update if it's for high level combat. I mean, considering that skills only open up the area, and you're still going to need good combat anyway. What would be the harm in having low skill requirements to let as many experience it as possible ( I say this fully knowing that later this month I'll be excluded despite being over 100 combat :) but I don't mind ) so really i have no good reason why it should lowskills/no skills :P. it's just mad dreams  Jagex want to reward people for using everything in game. They've put all this effort into making the game and most people only use certain bits - places like Keldagrim are abandoned. And even though things like level 3 skillers and people who only focus on combat are allowed (even encouraged by the system) Jagex would far prefer it if you do as much as you can in game - they designed the game for you to enjoy it, and they like seeing you enjoy it. Things like Monkfish encourage that - in order to access a very nice area for some very nice fish, a large amount of varied skills are required. I hope it will be similar here. In order to access a new area for potentially huge profits a large and varied skill repertoire will be required. It's Jagex's way of rewarding you for playing their game fully.
  4. I think that'll be an effect of lag more than an actual bug, but send in a report anyway.
  5. If that is the definitive quiz then I can safely say I'm not a hypocrite in anyway. I don't PK. I don't use the abyss to RC. I don't buy my own raw materials, preferring to gather them myself and train my skills that way. So I'm a nice, honest player, me!
  6. I guess switching from the prayer menu primerally right? If it isn't then please continue and explain. I'm considering going for the Fire Cape soon.. as soon as I get enough to buy Guthans.. Even at 80 something defense I get the feeling something will go wrong, and I don't want to ever have to go through those caves again.. u got it switching between prayer screen and super restores/range pots I don't know why you'd press escape because you're still going to use your mouse anyways to turn on the prayer or chug a potion. Might as well just click on and use only 1 hand. Well, you can save those precious microseconds of mouse movement. Once the keyboard presses are committed to muscle memory it makes a difference. As any WoW player can tell you.
  7. I'm almost considering deliberately getting myself a black mark just so I have no chance of being a Pmod. Being followed around all the time by annoying little children? Everyone expecting you to be a cut above the rest and/or super rich? Ugh, no thanks. I'd far rather be a normal average player who just gets on with what he's doing and is left alone when he wants to be.

  9. I'll be honest and say that I didn't even know they existed. I swear that list wasn't there the first time I read the news...
  10. Imagine you had unlimited money and 99 construction. Now design the biggest and most brilliant house you can think of, full of all the best stuff. Yep, that's what I'd want in the real world.
  11. "It is possible to train strength and defense. Really, it is, just click on the button." I was level 20 before I worked that out...
  12. Whoop-de-doo. I don't like the idea of knowing the holiday treat in advance. It ruins the surprise. Well, at least all the noobs have no cause to complain about the reward, because they voted for it! Hahaha!
  13. That Jagex has already finished with the pre-announced updates is nothing new, it happens quite often. They could use this week to bring out something they missed a few months ago, or they could just release nothing. I'm betting on the latter. The Dragon Visage was a complete surprise, and I've never seen Jagex release two surprises in a month.
  14. Didn't you know, people who say this are the perfect level, anyone higher than them (by 1xp) are nerds with no life and anyone lower than them are noobs who deserve beatings. Of course - never deny the mentality. As for my strange question:- At bloodvelds, while I'm ranging them, luring them into the safespot Him: "How do you prefer killing these?" I just carried on and ignored him.
  15. Even if there were an uncooking skill, as it'd be based in ScapeRune then it'd be damn hard to level. Getting from level 1 to level 2 would take the same amount of xp as getting from 98 - 99 in Glienor.
  16. An airbender, a firebender, an eaerthbender or a waterbender. It is destined to save the world from whoever decides to conquer it :^o That was an appalling joke. That said, if you hadn't said it, I probably would have. Side note: whoever said that the Killer's own is mistaken. Their latest album is sorely lacking. But that's a tad off-topic now. I don't think the actual avatars will be updated for the simple reasons stated above - far too many items to make it worth while. However, there is the face detail - when talking with NPCs. Look at the detail in the faces in the latest quest - the one in Dream Mentor looks positively awesome. Although it would probably be difficult to design an interface to allow us to control that detail (Tools Team has a major project, lol) it would certainly be cool.
  17. There'd have to be some major precautions in place if I do. To but it bluntly, trusting someone I've never met screams against my instincts - so I'd have to know them in real life. It could work if my brother played and moved to Canada or something... then I could beat him up at Christmas time if he stole from me... But otherwise no, never and a million times again: No!
  18. They can't bring it down to M. That would require editing out the graphic violence and torture. Except that this game IS graphic violence and torture. Literally nothing else. Which means that this game remains AO. But AO doesn't mean banned. It will still be available in America. It is banned in GB and Ireland! I personally have no problem with this game being release - as long as the laws and punishments concerning selling 18 rated games to under 18s are tightened up. I was in GAME once queueing to buy a game (I forget which) and a woman brought up GTA:VC with a 10/11 year old boy next to her. The clerk asked if the game was for the son, she said yes, he asked (several times) whether she was aware that the game contained murder, stealing, prostitution and all number of bad things that made the game rated 18. He asked if she would take her child to an 18 movie, to which she said no, so he asker her why she was buying her son a game that put the child inside the film. She bought the game anyway, simply because the child asked. That situation needs to change. And I'm beginning to wonder why I posted the thread. Most people here are commenting "NOOO! Now I'll never get to play it! Why do people hate gamers?" I'm willing to bet that most of you are under 18 and this shouldn't play it anyway...
  19. What a difference some pictures make. I read that one back when they accidentally released it, and it was positively boring by comparison. This time they added a paragraph and a few funky pictures and it's all far better!
  20. Well, I used them to get all the other bits of treasure, but now I suppose they're a waste of bankspace... but then I suppose most of the other junk in there is as well...
  21. Please, Jack Tompson was ranting about this game months ago. He tried to get Wendy's to stop their Wii promotion (I think it was based on the Pirates 3 game, not sure) on the basis that Manhunt 2 would come to Wii. And this game isn't going to be reclassified on an appeal. The BBFC said that normally they allow things to be resubmitted upon editing, if whatever they thought was bad had been edited out or toned down. The problem with Manhunt 2 is that there is nothing but violence and gore - if you cut that you don't have a game anymore. Ah well, I wasn't planning on buying it anyway.
  22. I dare not count, as I would merely realise that I have spent far too much money and time on them!
  23. Manhunt 2 has officially been banned by the BBFC and the IFCO. ESRB have given it an AO rating, which means that it's gonna be pretty hard to get your hands on. Personally, I consider the American's to have taken the best view. This is a game designed for adults, and placing it in the same category as most porn means that only adults can get their hands on it. It would also stop idiot parents from buying the latest games for 'darling Jimmy'. Anyway, use it as an opportunity to discuss the classification system and whose responsibility it is to ensure that children don't play adult games...
  24. Does it count as neglecting a skill when you regularly give it a 3-5k shot of experience every week (Tears of Guthix \ )? Because, if so, construction. As for the others, Thieving and Firemaking I only level when I have a goal to get to... actually, that goes with all my skills I guess. Unless I have some target to aim for I avoid them...
  25. Hmm the new Dragonfire Shield looks interesting. I daresay it'll be an hour or so before details on it emerge, but I'm certainly curious.
