  1. So you dont use "i"..i hate to break it to you but I is a word. So i'd say "i am going to buy a lobster" and what would you say? Oh and spelling can have a correlation with your maturity, some people spell words wrong on purpose just so they could look "cool" or whatever. Its people who spell things incorrectly when it doesn't even save them any time at all. "u" takes about 0.02 seconds less than "you", and surely people must be used to spelling things properly because thats how they learn it in school, it must be second nature to say "you" because you'd never put "u" on homework.. Did I really phrase it that bad? I don't use "i". I use "I". Get it?
  2. Well, unless you are actually willing to give it... that's risky. Sometimes they will just go and take help from a dictionary \
  3. Dharok. If they're stupid enough not to pray on Dharok they deserve to have their items looted. Oh and if it was lag get a better comp. :XD: Well, i have a pretty good comp, but I still lag. You can't have a computer that won't ever lag unless if you only have microsoft word open. So you assume everyone should have an MSN, 3 Internet pages, a game on hold and Windows Media Player open? Sorry for the double post.
  4. I keep it if its value is anything important to me. And also if it isn't, but it stacks with another item I use, for example some kind of armor or tool :) And if it isn't useful to me in anyway, I won't go out of my way to return them, so I ask them to come if they want it. And if my inventory gets filled with coal and I can't mine any more because of their junk, sucks for them :-k And if there is a general store nearby, oops :|
  5. That's right. Most people will give away their passwords to strangers if they are tempted to and are careless, even if I yell "NO FFS!!!" into their ears, but once they have been jacked, they will learn most of the time. Heh, I'd call those gifts up to 100k :D (That's the amount I'd trust a good friend with... just got scammed with it, but bigger amounts of money help better in knowing who to trust :) and I don't feel as sorry for the 100k as I would feel for the full rune she asked to try on).
  6. I agree with the topic. As for the grammar, I use Rs-exclusive things like "Buy addy baxe" but I've given up on using "u" and "i" a long time ago (well, especially since the chat update. It was horrible before, with not letting you capitalise the "I"-s)
  7. I laughed at that in real life. I diddn't realise you could laugh anywhere else. I enjoyed some of these jokes but its hard to make them. You could just press three keys (or actually two, just twice one of them) and that still counts as laughing. :-k
  8. so that means me and my mod cronies are gonna start breaking rs rules? :shame: :o I thought I said that a relatively big number of the [F2p] mods might start breaking rules. Your post does not compute.
  9. Weak rant. Isn't training combat levels enough for you? (Unless you PC) Instead, I think option 2 is closer to the solution: make a way so that everything can attack you if you can attack them.
  10. I laughed at that in real life.

It's not bad, newer monsters actually have nicer animations and the Drakels, a very common monster kind, have been recently updated too. However I won't peer-pressure you, you just might accuse me of torturing you once you quit AQ after an hour
  12. First look at this statement, and then look at your post again and realise that F2p has grown out of its demo role. As someone on this forum said, "Full games should be able to get by without a demo. RuneScape can't, so F2p can't be a demo." or something like that.
  13. Well, about that ranger think, how come the customer is always right when to the massive (and kinda well-founded) arguments of rangers needing an update, Jagex responded with a snappy joke? That actually is decisiveness IMO, but this just doesn't compute. And the need for a ranger update at that time was bigger than keeping some more newbs from losing their junk armor by nerfing stuff.
  14. Well, I wouldn't call things like that begging, I once asked for 10 gp to pass the toll gate and gave back 100 gp on my way back - oh the good ole days, when I still haven't done the quest against it. Begging should be measured from 1k upwards, or things that might not be worth 1k but are hard to get and usually aren't on hand and/or out of the way, like a rainbow fish (not everyone has those).
  15. The phat set, definitely. One account might fall accidentally to a keylogger, but with a phat set I'd be paranoid enough to trade all except one over to various unrelated accounts, and so it is totally foolproof. Plus the phat set has more potential for anything, and for those who voted "none" - I advise you the phat set, you can wear it and actually do something else with it than make it into money

Well, actually, that's true. It's like people who only play the tutorial island and then make a bashing review. But actually, in all honesty, I only read the posts in general, must've skipped yours accidentally

Um... I always admire how "heroically" the RS people try to defend RS from the snot-nosed kids who bash RS on their own little fansite. Now I look at this topic and what do I see? AQ bashing. Two things I have to say. AQ is not a bad game, I play it quite often (though not as much as RS). Maybe because my char is still just level 60-ish (glad I got the refund in time :D ), maybe because there is still a lot of stuff for me to do, even in the Adventurer mode I'm on currently. Eventually, yes, it will run out and will get boring, but that's a flaw of AQ. So quit the bashing. Also, TC, say to him that everyone should stick to this game and you don't give a flying rat's [wagon] if he thinks RS is crap. You let him play AQ, so he shouldn't whine about you playing RS. These people can rarely be defeated in such arguments, they stick to their game for life.
  18. That is a bit of an understatement about Pmods. For the frequency of Pmods, it's not uncommon that they actually break rules. If I were a mod, I'd play like I was a normal member, and would just ignore beggars.
  19. These issues are overblown, and they are mostly just an excuse for stuff. Emo kids who are really crapped up in their mental abilities often play video games (like everyone else Sherlocks) so video games must be bad? Also, while it might not be an urban legend about gambling addictions, did you know that RS stakers are kinda "addicted" to staking too? Is it because of the toxic gases? Unless you did something bad to your comp, that can't be :-w
  20. Red gloves, power ammy, rainbow boots, blue cape. If I go pking, I take the gloves off.
  21. Well, in my opinion, those whiners are a smaller part of the member community than you'd think. It's a couple of people... the majority thought the anchor was fine, the dark bow is fine, the maul was fine... but a lot of people can't be a-ed to go to the forums or they just don't want to or stuff and so Jagex gives in to the deceptive minority. My 2 gold pieces.
  22. The bad thing is that this joke and kinds like these aren't actually RS-related, they are just common jokes made into a Runescape version.
  23. Jagex states that they do not support pures and skillers, nor people like low level quest capers. Hell, they put the combat requirement on Dream Mentor and they didn't give in to the whiners. But that's not the point - a pure is very rarely a main account and so they would prolly just scrap the pure and start a new account or improve the pure to the actual standards. Unless they don't wanna work more, they won't quit for that.
  24. Sorry if this belongs to another forum, I felt it should go here. Alright, so here it is. Jagex are giving us updates, RSOF'ers rant. The members are given the granite maul, or whatever it was, the newbs who just lost their full steel to it whine, the weapon gets nerfed. Or, the same happens with the anchor. Except that this time some people rant about it being too weak, which results in Jagex buffing it a slight bit. Or, in Olaf's quest, in the agility course, some newbs with 20 agility whine about failing too much, as they should be able to do it (say they), so Jagex makes it easier again. JUST DO SOMETHING AND KEEP IT THAT WAY DAMMIT! People were just whining about the ditch - thankfully, it didn't get nerfed as the ranters tried too hard. But now the dark bow, the masses are crying for a nerf in such a hypocritic way. Come on, it's the best update for rangers lately, and now you want to ruin it in order to keep your addy junk? Did you even try the goddamn thing? What say you, Tip.it community?
  25. I agree with these kinds of comments. The rules are for everyone. You are not allowed to break them, and there is no way to get privileges to do them. I can't say anything that hasn't been said before, but just because they put in a lot of work into that account... who cares. Heck, as Jagex, I wouldn't care if they stabbed a knife into their sorry necks, they autoed/whatever, I don't care about that kind of threatening.
