Why even bother to discuss this? Runescape isn't the only MMORPG to have this, or game for that matter, once you do everyone or have done everything that interests you, you tend to leave or only go on to speak to friends, happens in every MMORPG :wall: the only reason the numbers are a bit lower are because of all the autoers leaving, there's still the same amount of people who are actually playing the game online.

Hi guys sorry I bet you get loads of these but I have been off RS for a long time and was wondering if anyone could help me out (i'm trying to search but i'm having internet issues so instead of waiting 5 minutes for each page to load I figure this is a faster way). i'm level 94 with pretty much 50-70 in every skill that hasn't been released recently and I was wondering. . . (i'm on members) 1. What quests I should go and do that have good rewards. 2. best fishing/cooking exp for level 68/72. 3. reliable way to make about 10m (doesn't have to be a fast thing, I have alot of patience). 4. new fun updates I should try out. 5. since the wilderness is very different now, is the wilderness area under Edgeville now safe from other players? (used to be a favourite spot of mine :thumbsup: ) Thanks alot in advance \ .

I just did the combining thing, feather and eye of newt, and got a lvl 17 chicken monster thing and it dropped 9 eye of newts!

WARNING SPOILER MINI GUIDE: ITEMS NEEDED: Hammer and a saw. Speak to effigy. Speak to Bonifido 'The Guns' Go buy him a cheap beer in yanille, he will give you his shirt. 'No Fingers' Just pickpocket him for boots. 'Gummy' search bushes southeast of tower for legs. 'Black Eye' answer questions about construction: 1st answer is 3, second answer is torn curtains, third answer is 10 pieces of clay. Speak to bonifido again, you need to answer some questions, first answer is Tea, second answer is Legs getting cold, (I forgot third), fourth is that it will heal itself, now you can go inside the tower. One part of machinery: 6 rivets, 4 pipe, 5 metal ring Another part: 5 metal bars, 4 water fluid stuff. Another part: 4 coloured balls, 3 metal sheeting, 4 valve wheels. All these can be found in the crates on the ground floor of the tower, once you add all the stuff to one section you must complete a simple task - kind of like a mini game where you gotta move certain things into positions, it's easy. Once you have completed all the things go out and talk to Effigy, there will be a cutscene, after the cutscene speak to Effigy again, then go up to the top and speak to the YOUKNOWWHAT, depending on what kind of person you are you can make the YOUKNOWWHAT think logically or magically, for logic answer correctly, and for magic answer magically, you need to make it reach either end, I don't think it matters which one you do, I did logic. Once you have spoken to it go to the basement and talk to it again, congratulations!

Have you? Actually I think your name sounds familiar from RSC. But maybe you could point out why it seems that this author never played RSC or RS2 so you don't sound so unintelligent. Very cool article. I never really thought about pures like that. Pures and stakers are the only thing that are keeping RSC *somewhat* alive to this day. I think playing on my pures and staker back on RSC was probably the most fun I've had in a video game ever. And Jagex spoiled it for me, among many many others. Yes I have played WoW, RS1, RS2 ALOT so i'm not like this guy who is just talking out his [wagon] about nothing. He talks about how runescape1 was "humerous", he is talking as if the game is a joke or something, regardless of the intentions of the creation of this game it should be respected and not laughed at. He knows nothing about how "pures" came about in rs1, and the only thing humerous is his perception of such things. Now he starts talking about RS2 being more balanced, with the pvp triangle, and how they "destroyed" emergent gameplay, when he is just too foolish to see it hasn't gone away, it has just changed, another reason showing he knows nothing about RS2. Balance doesn't mean loss of creativity, it means the creativity will be more balanced. He says about the hard work of creative gamers being thrown away, a couple of people created the pure and experimenting, it caught on, everyone started doing it, this is nothing to do with hard work, if that is hard work he should try having a job or going to school or something which involves real hard work. And then he trashes RS2 wilderness, is this guy level 20 and just lost his full set of bronze in his first encounter with the wilderness? He trashes RS2 wild again, he recognizes the emergent gameplay in RS2 yet still trashes it in the tone he talks about it with, saying RS2 is sterilized. Now the editor hasn't even played WoW and is talking about their "friends", and gives us a lecture about how little kids play RS2 more than they play WoW, whilst telling us that immature things are accepted in WoW but would not be tollerated in RS2. Their comment about the pricing is also laughable, have they even looked at the pricing and compared the two games prices? Why are they trashing the fact that Jagex are looking after the game and keep boundaries and rules, and enforcing them, truly amazing. And that is why this article is ridiculous.

Has this guy even played RS1 or RS2? Looks like he copy and pasted 10 peoples comments and stuck them together. Rubbish article, try playing the games and doing research before posting something like this. And who the hell is this editor? talking down about RS2 and up about WoW lol. Well today I was f2p pking and I fought this 99 for ages till I eventually K.O'ed him for full rune/kite etc, and pile didn't show, a level 90 gender bender walks up and says "thanks" and takes the whole pile, refuses to share even though I wasted a whole inventory on the fight, and proceeds to teleport. So I add them, and follow them to a new world later that day, I fight them and then I lose connection and end up in lumby, having lost my full rune and some (h2) stuff or whatever. So today I learnt gender bending newbies can still get the better of legitimate veterans of this game, a valuable lesson!

Alternatively people could actually give decent C/C to people who post their pixels then there wouldn't be a need for any "school". If these "pupils" want to get good at pixels their motivitation shouldn't be a crappy little medal, it should be becoming a great pixeler.
