HD/Fullscreen, Which one?
Some tasks are inherently better, (smelting) because of the longer vieweing distance. Others, if you want to be in irc etc. discourage full screen.

First time linux
I'm looking into a linux OS for http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetailPrint.aspx?WishListNumber=11056925 I've used Ubuntu for a bit, and I can now start to move away from it. It can be annoying at times, and I want a bit of customization. I don't want it to be too hard to get to work though. I've heard Mandriva/Fedora/Debian I'll be dual booting with win 7. Also what graphical environment... I've used xfce I got told: xfce4 might be a good choice, lxde perhaps, kde, gnome, or awesome if you want to learn a new very efficient one... something like that

Laptop VS Desktop (college?)
Thanks guys. I'll try and hold off on a notebook purchase. However I see that a desktop purchase is in the cards. Do you have any changes you would make to the build I posted in the first post?

As per redplanet: Basically, I want a point and shoot camera with decent quality, a decent number of settings, and decent battery life. Basically a sub $200 camera, preferably sub 150 that I could use for taking pictures of stuff on vacations and stuff with friends. (no DSLR) Oh, and at least 3x optical zoom and the ability to take low quality videos :) I've been looking at the Canon quickshots, but brand doesn't matter too much to me. There are so many brands/cameras I'm overwhelmed. Can anybody help? Also feel free to tell me if I need to give more information.

Laptop VS Desktop (college?)
Thing is is my parents saved a lot of money for me to go to college. I don't spend much money: I have well over 10k in the bank and i'm 15. If i spend some of the money I'll get federal aid for college, so I'm trying to find stuff to spend it on before they tally my finances.

Laptop VS Desktop (college?)
here is a build I was looking into: http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=11056925 however, as you will notice there are many doubling up of parts, and I'd like somebody to help me choose which ones to get etc. Some are out of stock, and I need alternatives. I'm only tenth year, but my mom said I could get a laptop for college. Not sure how much something like this would cost etc. How much do you need a laptop in college? Netbook? Worth it to get this (comparable) as a desktop or laptop?

Relating Economic Topics to Runescape
I agree with the first half. However, I am not one to agree with the Keynsian view on neutrality in real life or in runescape. I think it is a somewhat negative aspect that should be addressed, but shouldn't cause "The fall of the Jagex Empire"

Relating Economic Topics to Runescape
good point... didn't think that through. Honestly, it could cause problems if it goes on like this unchecked.
