D'awwwwwwwwwwwwww, does baby need a wittle nap? Congratulations on 99 Construction. It's a cool 99 to have.

Dharok's or Geyser + Spear?
You should do Karil's/Void + SS + Pony in the ancient caverns. You should be using piety. Like the other guy said, I wouldn't use CT fiends unless you have an iron or steel titan.

KBD and Dragon Med made F2P?
Interesting thread. I'd say that making the KBD and Giant Mole f2p isn't such a bad idea. Obviously a few quirks would have to be worked out, but I don't think it'd be a bad thing for f2p to have dragon medium helms and a couple easy boss monsters. Could bring more bird's nests into the game if they were allowed to sell them. EDIT: Why is it P2P'ers continue to declare that "F2P is a demo"? If you took all, and I mean *all*, of the member's content out of the game it would stand on it's own and still be great. Despite what you might think, Jagex's official stance is that P2P is merely an expansion. If you took all of PTP out the game would be dead. If you took FTP out nobody would really care (except the members who like FTP pking/clan wars and the people who can't afford PTP). The only use of FTP is to give players a taste of runescape before they purchase the full game and that's the only part of FTP that would be missed if FTP was taken out. I agree with this. I've never understood why people think F2P is anything more than a glorified demo. I wouldn't play Runescape if I couldn't have all of the P2P content. /my two cents.

My 2009
Very cool, and I enjoyed the read. Can I ask how long it takes for a fruit tree to fully restock on fruit? How about bushes?

Racing Minergoo (PuppyKing)!
 Just got 93 Slayer. 249 Dark Beasts slain since I started keeping count. No bow. EDIT: Got a task of 159 Dark Beasts. Got my very first Dark Bow ten kills in. I'm keeping it.

Prayer Pure
I've seen a lot of prayer pures recently.

I am in a race.
I just checked a tracker website. You've gotten like four times as much Agility experience this week than I've gotten HP experience. Jesus Christ.
-
I am in a race.
Even though I'm pretty sure HP experience through Slayer is probably faster than Agility, I think you have more time than I do. THAT'S MY EXCUSE AND I'M STICKING TO IT. You beat me in our very first race. It wont happen again.

wait wait, heavy armour mages?
On top of that, Ahrim's has higher slash defense than Karil's. A hybrid mage (Ahrim's + whip) should always be able to beat a hybrid warrior (standard warrior with Karil's in inventory).

The Case for Slayer
If you plan on maxing total level, Slayer is the most efficient way to train combat.

words and their meaning
As the purpose of language is to facilitate communication, that is, the conveyance of meaning, then it is the speaker's responsibility to ensure that the words they use communicate the ideas that they wish to communicate. There is no reason not to take language seriously when there is a chance that people will misinterpret your ideas. Among friends who are accustomed to speaking to each other, miscommunication isn't a huge issue, but ideas must be presented with clarity when talking to other people. Incidentally, there is an idea which comes up in linguistic philosophy that suggests that it is impossible for listeners to understand what a speaker wishes to communicate via language, as there will always be a discrepancy between how the listener decodes and interprets words, and what the speaker thinks their words actually mean. Incidentally, fix your spelling, OP. I agree on everything, but what's up with the Ph.D like language? And I still don't really get the problem. You explained to him where the word heracy comes from, as in you explained its origin, but the person you explained it to flipped over the meaning of marriage? Or did he get mad over the meaning of heracy, that you were somehow not taking it seriously by explaining its origin. And come on man, it's marriage, not marridge... What in the world are you smoking? He didn't use a single word that the common, educated person wouldn't understand. It sounds like the person who got angry was religious and felt that by undermining the negative connotation of the word 'heresy,' the OP was somehow justifying the rejection of religion. Sounds like it was probably an extremely annoying conversation. It's also 'heresy,' not 'heracy.'

Firecape V.S Skill Capes (t)
I always, always, always, always wear my fire cape when doing anything combat related. I'll never wear a skill cape over a fire cape while slaying. I might do it if I were doing something extremely dangerous and didn't want to lose my fire cape, however.

Adding something missing to magic, and more?
As far as the cost of magic goes, I'd like to see a system where the higher your magic level, the higher your chances of casting the spell without using runes, or only using some of the runes. Other NPCs like the lunar mages have mastered magic without the use of runes. Why can't we?
-
Adding something missing to magic, and more?
They may just add new staves with varying magic damage % boosts instead of modifying older existing ones. But it is annoying that some staves have never to be used melee attack stats that are better than their magic attack stats. It might also be the reason why they nerfed the extreme mage pot. As in they don't want the bulk of magic damaging power to come from pots alone. They want some equipment involved too. I think the extreme mage pot changes were actually pretty beneficial in the sense that they gave Wolpertingers a huge boost in usability, plus they made the magic boosting aspect of overload potions much more effective.

so pro it hurts. HEY LET'S RACE me to 99 HP VERSUS you to 99 Agility GO GO GO

Adding something missing to magic, and more?
I would like to see this and a ranged counterpart made into skills. It doesn't really make sense for them not to exist. Would it hurt a lot of players for a little while? Yes, but they can get over it.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
I spent this past week watching my younger brother play MW2. The few times he let me play, I had a lot of fun. Makes me wish I could throw money down for an XBOX. This game makes people crazy. My brother would be sitting there with his headset on yelling every obscenity imaginable when he was doing poorly, but when he was doing good he would start saying weird things like, "you all suck, I'm the best, I'm the best, you all suck cause I'm the best," only he would repeat it thirty times. Until he died again. I noticed that the AK47 is totally OP. It was only with that gun that I could get more than five kills, and my brother got his first nuke with it. Best score of the week playing team deathmatch was 9-16.

wait wait, heavy armour mages?
Why push-back? I see that adding nothing. Know how useful the Zammy/D Spears special is? Yeah I though so. When you freeze then just walk back a few steps. No push-back necessary. Both spears have extremely useful applications, but that's an argument for another day. I don't mean a one square push, I mean a significant shove backwards. Couple that with binding spells, and a warrior wont be able to hit a mage. As far as I'm aware, mages in other MMOs use spells that push opponents back (known as kiting) and they do just fine. I really don't mind mages having low defense, but they need to compensate by keeping their opponents away from them. Binding spells work okay, but I think they could use a little more.

All skills 70+.
After 99 Slayer, 96 Herblore, 90 Agility, 92 Firemaking, 85 Construction, and maxed combat. EDIT: Oops, 75 Construction is the level for gilded altars.

All skills 70+.
70 Runecrafting. 70 Construction and all skills 70+. Snapshot of my stats as of today. Finally done with skilling! It'll be a long while before I venture back into it. I'll be focusing on Slayer for the next few months. And Herblore . . . which I suppose falls under the category of skilling. You know what I mean goddamnit. Love, Obtaurian
