Current overall approval: +38 (newest: pegpenguin) A simple idea, so I'll keep this post simple as well. My suggestion is to allow in-game windows to be closed by pressing the Escape (Esc) key on your keyboard. We encounter many in-game windows on a daily basis (see the banner above for common windows), and I think it would be great to have an alternative (and faster) way to close these windows. One of the most noticeable uses for this update would be banking since it's done most on a daily basis and has an application in many different things in RuneScape - Superheating, Fletching, Herblore, Crafting, and Runecrafting for example. It can be frustrating trying to click the at times, especially when trying to get the most out of your skilling or if you're just quickly banking. Another large improvement would be with PM'ing. If you've ever typed a PM and realized you were about to send it to the wrong friend, or you no longer wanted to say what you had typed, you know it can be frustrating to backspace the whole message. By pressing Esc, you could get rid of your PM without sending it. And all other in-game windows would benefit with ease of use. Without the social aspect you leave the game very undesirable.

I couldn't care less either way, it's just a cape.

I would assume it would be much like Twitter if it literally changes your name.

Duration/efficiency, then I have more time to enjoy the better things :P For some skills, I try to find a middle-grounds though, and train like that.

For a location question: "Make use of the map/Knowledge Base" (I will sometimes walk them there if I know they are genuinely new to the game or I have to walk by that area anyway). For a clothing question: I will tell them the item's use and requirements to wear, if they still continue asking for more info I tell them to use the Knowledge Base. For a money question: Only if they ask me how to make money will I tell them different items to merchant or skills to train for money, if they demand money I will ignore them.

I sold a few to the general store, and I'm holding on to the rest in case I ever find a way to get rid of them for more than 17 GP (general store price).

That stupid... annoying ticker still isn't gone.... -.- :thumbdown: I rarely looked at the GE Databases mainpage so the absence of the Most Traded and Most Expensive categories don't really bother me. I usually used the 30 days over the 7 days anyway, so that also doesn't bother me. The load times seem faster, maybe I'm just paying too much attention to it now. They need to work on the relevance issues of item search, and work on enabling spelling variations as we see on Zybez (i.e. plate and pl8 will bring up results for platebody, platelegs, and plateskirts), since we're quite used to using the shorthand names for items ingame.

After 5 years, I have finally achieved my first 99 - Crafting. It was definitely not what I had anticipated as my first 99 (quite the opposite, I thought it would be one of my last), and I'll give some background information on it in the hidden portion below if you care to read it: [hide=History leading up to 99 Crafting]This was one of the oldest pictures I could find that hadn't been wiped from imageshack's servers or my own computer - this shows that Crafting was the last skill I began to train: It was very surprising to me that Crafting would actually become my first 99 through a chain of events. At first I worked on getting 85 crafting for a goal of all 85+ skills (image link), but soon after (and achieving 1M+ xp in all stats) I began to go at it again. While training, I realized that with the upcoming update to Random Events that gems would most likely drop in supply and merchants would jump on this opportunity, so I bought up around 40k Uncut Emeralds and 10k Uncut Sapphires. I cut the gems and began making them into necklaces and later on rings, by which time the Random Events had been updated and most gem-related items began to shoot up. I made a profit through crafting these until 95 crafting when I decided I didn't want to wait another month or two for the 99, so I sold the cuts gems (most of which were higher price than when I bought them as uncuts) and bought 110k Hard Leathers. The only fear I've ever had was of diving into water. Since first grade when I learned that swimming was a required course in high school, I thought every day of how I was inevitably going to have to confront this fear. This year I finally took the required swimming class. I excelled in all swimming strokes hoping that it would make up for my lack of diving, but when I saw that everyone else in my class liked diving so much I realized that I had better follow suit - I felt like I was missing out on something. After practicing only once, I went up to the diving board in front of the whole class and, well there was probably more face-first falling than actual diving, but the fact was that I had actually done it. Over the next two days I practiced and got diving down completely. I ended up passing the class as one of the top swimmers and obtained my swimming license. It feels pretty awesome living without any fears now. To me, fear should be left to things that may or may not happen, to fear the inevitable is quite pointless. Although you could always choose to just not ride any theme rides, stepping around the problem instead of confronting it, I would treat it as something that you have to do in order to experience what everyone else does. In some cases, following everyone else isn't always a bad thing :P

I usually play the situation through my head, testing every possible action I could have done instead of the one I chose and see the possible outcomes, and see how I fared in comparison to the worse outcomes. Eventually from too much thought I forget why I had a problem with the situation and forget about it until a later date.

What on earth? S Diamant Y has had 99 prayer since 2008. Odd inaccuracy, perhaps this was written in the first quarter of 2008 and not released until now.

iCould definitely goes overboard with transition effects and camera movement, I found it hard to pay attention with all of the flashing colours and shaking camera angles. The people watching the videos are expecting to just see an interview, the effects are quite unnecessary >_

On F2p at least, "safing" appears to have reached a status where it is a general statement used any time your opponent eats. Also, using cheatspeak and not using vowels are required to correctly PK.

Unfortunate that a lot of the comments seemed to step around the actual question.

I'd second this, I don't know what those underscores are doing there.
