The Chronicles of Dagon'Hai - Runescape Movie -
(You didnt say anything about the latest one.) :-w The first trailer was very hard to make. I couldnt find anyone willing to help. Almost everyone either said "Nah, I have better things to do" or "I dont have dagon hai robes". It is the first trailer though, so of course some things will change for the final piece. (There were no 0's by the way. They got hit 2 times with both hits dealing damage.) For the second one, everything was done fairly fast I was rushed to get it done before christmas, and I even found some clips with faults in after I uploaded it. The sword was ancient, and I believe he said that when he found it. You could think of it as a very sensetive barrows weapon, then think of it getting hit with 3 balls of ice. The second one doesnt have any clips for the movie itself. It was made as a holiday thing. Anyway, now that I have more people willing to help, the scenes will be getting better. It's not exactly legendary if snowballs can break it, and obviously of absolutely no use. The second you hit something with it it would crumble. And sure you can re-forge broken weapons and armor. But I'm afraid if it's weak enough for a couple snowballs to break it, then it wasn't well made, and it's never going to be useful. Look at real world ancient weaponry, swords from the Roman Era still exist as much as thousands of years old, and you certainly couldn't break them without trying really hard. Not a well thought out concept Den, sorry. And Like I said before, he's right about the language. It's very juvenile. If you're not good with dialogue I suggest you bring in someone to help out on that aspect. Other than that the videos look great. The new one looked really good.

Its called beta testing there LAZY. yeh normally a company would hire and pay testers for that. Instead you pay them to play their game, and they use you to keep from having to pay testers. sneaky sneaky sneaky

What I meant by john being better at middle quests is that in middle quests you don't really expect all the lingering questions to be answered. In a beginning you expect initial questions to be posed, and in end quests you expect them to be answered. The Chosen Commander was not a series ender, it didn't answer any questions at all. Sure it was fun and we kicked bando's [wagon] and daved dorgesh kaan and all that, but i mean, there was no explanation really. In a series ending quest you expect those questions to be answered.

of course it could be that they're just trying to catch us off guard with a huge amazing update later this week Edit: oops meant to edit not reply also though this wouldn't be bad if they made it multi-sectioned and had a developer chiming in from each for instance Quests minigames graphical and sound etc

Honestly, I don't see how people could not be disappointed with this. We wanted to know what was in development now, not what's knocking around in some guys head(I really do not like mod John by the way, at least as far as his ability to tie up loose ends in a quest line goes. I think he would be a great quest writer for middle are quests, just not beginnings or ends.) Anyway, this is the equivalent of this: Hey guys! I'm Mod [bleep]nugget. I just wanted to let you in on what we're up to. I've been charged with making the next minigame! I've recently played through every minigame and seen a lot that I liked, and I'll be including elements from some of them in the new game. For instance; * Some games focus on good teamwork, so I think it would be a good idea to have more of that. * Other games are all about fighting, so we should definitely involve fighting! * There's also skills! Who doesn't love skilling? We should definitely involve that! * But how could I possibly leave out beer swilling, or running in circles, OR CLOWNS!!!! YES MORE CLOWNS!!!!!! The game will be called "AMAZING SUPRISE CLOWN BUTT RAPE WITH A MAGICAL GARDEN RAKE OF DOOOOOOOOOOM" MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Hope you guys like it, I'm going to go start thinking about it so that later I can actually start designing it ok? I'll tell you more later :3

Man if they wanna do it like this they could've put that crap on Twitter. But on another note, can anyone tell me when George Bush changed his name to Mark Gerhard and moved to England? #-o [/hide] George Bush is awesome how DARE YOU. I'm not talking about politics there. I think he's MMG has the GB insulated bubble and people around him telling him how great a job he is doing while everything around him is total crap. I actually think he has some good ideas, unfortunately i think some of his employees are severely developmentally delayed. I wonder if they'll write a diary about the delay. I see what you did there.

how did it have an excellent storyline? Like I said before, It didn't answer any questions or tie up any loose ends at all. Sure by itself it would have been fine, but as the end of a storyline? No way! I mean, it's like watching a superhero movie and, instead of the obligatory scene where the bad guy spills his guts about what was going on, the good guy just kills him and goes on about his merry way. Pretty much everybody i know, including me thought it was a great finish. Any omali, you've missed that this isn't going to be a twice per year thing like the past dev diarys, and it also isn't about a massive update like summoning was, they will be much more often and about the smaller updates aswell. No, most people agree it was a good quest, and so do I. It was simple, and fun for the degree of difficulty it posed. I don't see how it could possibly be a good end to a series when it doesn't wrap up any of the loose ends involved with that series however.

the first three pages are the suckups, the next 150 are ranters. Then mixed in somewhere are about 10 people who actually have the capacity for intelligent thought.

Edit: I agree with Omali. The diary should say more than "Hi guys, I'm going to write a new quest =D" To be honest. it's not even in development yet, it's just planned. I think everyone would rather hear a little impersonal info about a few projects that are in the works, than just being told a guy is going to start a quest. I mean, come on we know people are working on quests, they always have quests in the works. I would personally rather hear about how mobilizing armies is progressing, or a get a quick peek into the progress being made on the next grandmaster level quest. Telling us that they're going to start working on a new quest soon doesn't tell us anything. That article could easily have been written in less than 10 minutes. If they want something like this, then they should just give the developers a blog to post in.

very very disappointing now we have one of my favorite quest series being worked on by the same guy who wrote the chosen commander absolute fail Think about it. What questions were answered in The Chosen Commander? Why was Zanik chosen? Nope. What was Bandos really planning? Nope. In all actuality it was total [cabbage]. Basically it was this; The bad guy is coming oh noez!!!!! LOLWTFBBQ I broke his necklace, I win. The end. It's kinda sad because the quest line had the potential to to end with a bang, and instead it just kind of trailed off into nothingness.

How does RuneScape affect our Friendships?
this situation is what we call melodrama it's very common in young girls, teen girls, adult women, and menopausal women they can't help it their hormones freak out triggering emotional responses and the base all their decisions on those emotional responses there is a male counterpart for this, but it usually revolves around thinking with our *ahem* I just don't have runescape friends though, solves all my problems If i need something I just pop into a friendly clan chat I always have my real friends to talk to btw, female + male = never platonic unless you're blood related btw jim +1 for being busy and stoned =D

The Chronicles of Dagon'Hai - Runescape Movie -
the second one was crap, but i liked the first one As far as effects and such things go you do a great job you should really work on your dialogue though, some of it just seems silly for instance, what serious person have you ever heard say "give it here" it should at least be, "give it to me"

Once thought unachievable capes now child's play?
i'm going for untrimmed slayer without soul wars personally i think using soul wars for it is a waste of time 20 minutes per game, and no drops? absolute fail i could easily get the same amount of slayer experience plus some nice drops training slayer normally

Runescape God Mythology
I would have to agree with this. And yes, the gods can share similar values, but I can't help but think that Saradomin champions a significantly warped sense of "Law" as compared to Armadyl. While Armadyl upholds his "Law" for the sake of justice and equity, Saradomin seems to use his merely as a form of strict social control. Armadyl is impartial in his judgements; Saradomin is more fanatical in that he holds his followers to ridiculously high standards, but doesn't appear to have any qualms when he violates his own commandments. Saradomin views the world in terms of black and white (or, at least, would like for his followers to do so)--an erroneous sentiment I imagine Armadyl does not share. [hide=Don't take offense at this, but...]Saradomin is definitely RuneScape's portrayal of the Judeo-Christian God. This is probably the simplest way in which I can describe what I mean, even if it is a bit blunt.[/hide] I agree with you. Saradomin is definitely a match to the Judeo-Christian God. His laws are puritanical and moralistic, whereas Armadyl would be more like the scales of justice. I mean, when you think about it, even in the bible "God" kills indiscriminately, afflicts innocent people with plague, and orders his followers to kill those who oppose him. Yet after all this, he demands worship as a just and righteous God? Pathetic. Maybe You can see why I'm not religious. Anyway, that's neither here nor there. It comes down to this, Saradomin's laws are moralistic and self serving, whereas Armadyl's are totally unbiased.

One Down, a Lot to Go
 What does he do? he recognizes the ring, I think he just stammers out the name jennica, but i can't remember for sure

Quest 150 not epic enough?
Why not? I think f2p totally deserves fletching, and I'm a mem Sounds like probably a new resource skill that would benefit members by having f2p be able to gather some of the resources

One Down, a Lot to Go
They could introduce a new goblin questline in the future but the chosen commander marked the end of this one Personally, I think temple knights first (or a continuation from smoking kills, slayer quest FTW) followed by robert the strong/ dragonkin(people seem to be forgetting this series and personally i think it has huge potential) after that I'd say a continuation from defender of varrock Then either elves or vampires both are way too hard to get to is the only reason i dislike them followed by Desert questline the death of hazelmere kinda turned me off of the gnomes sadly also considering the strange old man at the barrows reacting to Jennica's ring i don't think the Summer quest line is over, And i would love to see how the brothers tie in.

what if they released "sailing" but whenever you tried to train it you fail, and then they announce it was a typo and the new skill is actually failing
