  1. I like safari better. It's faster, I prefer the UI and it goes with os x better :) I'm fairly sure first part of that is lie. I recall seeing speed tests somewhere and it went like Chrome > firefox > safari > opera > IE (fastest to slowest) Safari, in many tests, beats out FireFox. Chrome and Opera are up there, surpassing both. I don't know how to fix your problem unless you're also running two displays, in which case Runescape only allows the resolutions of the primary display. I personally use Safari for web pages and FireFox for Runescape. Usually it handles the game better in terms of CPU%.
  2. I usually end up scoring for the entire game. But I also carry around a ZGS/Z Spear and a Restore Special potion, so I am more than capable of defending. :D
  3. I know, but what if Jagex introduces a new reward system where you can't do that. I've bought stuff before, but none of the items look good without other pieces of the set.
  4. Hehe, thank you everyone! I'll definitely be spending them on full gold when I can. I have enough for a kite/legs+helmet or platebody/sword, but that's it at the moment. I still have a feeling that Jagex will be updating Castle Wars soon enough, hopefully with better rewards. So I'll wait to cash them in. :P
  5. Well, I love this 'activity' and I have just surpassed 1,000 tickets! Assuming I win 1.75 tickets per game the yield is about ten days (or 238 hours) of Castle Wars playing, using 25 minutes as the wait time per game (quite often it is more than that). But nevertheless, I find it enjoyable enough to waste my time on.
  6. You won't be able to get +6, or at least it is very unlikely. I would definitely suggest 87, at the very least.
  7. Not when lower levels already have all of the (quests, especially!) content they need. Usually it is the higher levels who complete these lower leveled quests and activities upon release. So yes, for just this year, it would make perfect sense to release content that is split 50/50.
  8. I am curious as to how you arrived to this conclusion.
  9. There are a few that are ongoing. http://clients.futuremark.com/peacekeeper/index.action Run that test and when you get to the results screen, scroll down. The fastest system is currently Opera 10.51 with over 13,000 points. Chrome 5 held the previous record with just over 10,000 points. Speed, however, is only one aspect of Opera that can be appreciated. It is the source of many innovations other major browsers have adopted. The browser market would be substantially different if Chrome or Opera had not existed. The test is only based on JavaScript. Furthermore, the test is largely influenced by the CPU and GPU within the system and it is unlikely that a user is going to be benchmarking every browser.
  10. I have 92 herblore and stewing to 96 is easy. While you're mixing potions make sure to have a cat out (for it to overgrow, so you can later turn it into a wily cat). I wouldn't recommend getting it above 93 for overloads, if you're just going to use them casually.
  11. Well, I've made a thread about this yesterday and basically everyone advised me against CT Waterfiends. --- Confusing... You shouldn't do CT Waterfiends yet.
  12. I wish the same could be said for Bandos. :(
  13. That would make Chrome the copycat, then.
  14. Haha, I actually came to H&A to ask the same question, Lala. It definitely has to be more than two, so I figure 4:1 would work for testing.
  15. Safari came out long before Chrome, so I am not sure what you mean by that.
  16. Indeed. Moved to Tech & Computers.
  17. How long do running shoes last? I've been wearing the same shoes, practically every day, for the past year. I wear them for everything not just running. I only ask because the arch in my foot has been giving me all sorts of pain lately. I'll get to about the first mile, walk for ~20 seconds to rest up, and continue running. During that cool-down, my arch feels like its on fire, but running again relieves the pain. When I get back home it'll continue to hurt throughout the day, usually sorting itself out after a nights rest. My entire run (two to six miles depending on how bad my foot hurst) is on concrete and the cadets say that running on asphalt is better, is this true? Anyway, I just ordered some Nike LunarGlides, which I heard were really good.
  18. You could do an agility lap with 'em. Right?
  19. So, if you had an inventory full of partyhats...?
  20. Yup, I use Paintbrush when GIMP is simply too much.

  23. It's a simple mathematical equation. They had two weeks after announcing this to make sure it worked correctly. We were told when and how long the bonuses would last. The two weeks notice was to give non-members adequate time to pay for membership and this just looks like a duplicitous trick. So yes, I am disappointed. Not so much in that I am missing out in experience, but that the company is one of two things; incompetent or a quack that went back on its word in an effort to lessen the devaluation of in-game attributes and hoping that no one would care/notice. My money is on the latter.
  24. That is not always true.
