  1. While I understand your excitement, there are already several topics on the subject that you may add to. :) http://forum.tip.it/topic/283143-wilderness-and-free-trade-vote/ http://forum.tip.it/topic/282657-free-trade-and-old-wilderness-back-21-dec-2010/
  2. Are you just concerned about the fans revving up? That's normal. I have a 2008 MacBook w/ a 2.4Ghz Core 2 Duo and a 9400M nVidia Geforce IGPU. It runs Runescape at the highest settings (both in Software and OpenGL) but the fans go up to 6000RPMs.
  3. Moved to Tech & Computers. We also need to know what MacBook Pro you are playing on.
  4. Aww! I signed up on the first day! Would be awesome to get one.
  5. I have an 80GB SSD in my laptop. I wouldn't say that it's inconvenient; it stores all of my data and still has free space. Many consumers don't use 100GB+.

That happens to everyone when unlocking a door, I believe.
  7. I believe you can manually switch between the two in System Preferences > Energy Saver. Though I do not have a Mac with dual GPUs, so I could be wrong. To the above, Safari previously had a bug with Runescape where, when loaded as a 64-bit program, it would not display properly. The obvious solution was to load Safari in 32-bit, but the switch was not too intuitive for regular consumers. Meh, I still use FireFox for Runescape despite the fixes to Safari.
  8. Are you on the dedicated graphics or the Intel integrated? It's definitely not your hardware (or the OS for that matter), as I run RS on full settings sans particles with a 2.4Ghz C2D with an nVidia 9400M.
  9. Same here. That is, I use Safari for general browsing and FF for Runescape.

I was under the impression that the PIN system did not use the same transmissions that keyloggers intercept from pressing keys. I thought that was the entire reason that the PIN system was developed in the first place - to thwart keyloggers. In fact, because his account was taken, but his bank was not, (and that the OP can't think of any scenario to reveal his password) I would be willing to guess that a keylogger is present on his computer or a computer that was recently used.
  11. Uh, sure they do. You just have to check their warranty.
  12. iTunes is only a media player that is directed to your music; music is not actually stored in the program. However, if you want to make sure that nothing is lost, then copy your iTunes folder (not sure where it's at on Windows - someone else could direct you) and place it in an alternate location. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1925
  13. It's not so much the individual product as it is customer support and consumer appeal, as indicated by the charts below. [hide=Smartphones] [/hide] [hide=Laptops][/hide] [hide=Desktops][/hide] [hide=HDTV][/hide]
  14. While I completely agree with your post, he is correct in that Intel HD graphics should be able to run Runescape HD without any problem.
  15. In lieu of a thread posting a problematic meltdown, I thought it would be nice if we shared a nice discussion. It is somewhat in follow-up of the thread I posted about two years ago about the defective Dells I received, if anyone cares to remember. :P PCWorld recently published a survey that has aimed to find the best and worst tech corporations - at least, in terms of consumer satisfaction. If you would like to read the full article (three pages worth), you can find it here. Keep in mind that this survey only represents readers from PCWorld and not from the mass population. So I guess I should ask, what are your experiences?
  16. I would say that you're trying to have fun. So yes, there is a pretty big difference in that respect - one might be more entertaining in the eyes of some. Again, it is not about the rewards but rather the intrinsic entertainment value. It's no fun to play if one side of the triangle is weighted more so than the other.
  17. I was wondering the same thing, but never asked about it. I am playing on a MacBook at full settings and everything works smoothly except for the minimap.
  18. And give you arthritis, unfortunately.
  19. Yeah, I just did that yesterday. TOG and Penguin Points got me up eight levels. :) And thank you, nmanitstinksn, for the link! :shades:
  20. I don't so much enjoy working with teams because I log out a lot to take breaks and such. It's just been a big hassle so far. My average time for the small dungeons @ C6 was ~20 minutes or so. So just to clarify, I should be doing mediums after I am finished doing the C1 floors? And where might I find this calculator? It sounds really helpful! :) Thank you. :D
  21. I came back to Runescape a few days ago and I have since learned to love playing Dungeoneering. I am currently level 47 and can reach floor 24. Although it took me awhile, I now understand the concept of resetting prestige once the maximum floor is reached. My question then is, after I reset my prestige, do I complete the easier floors (like 1-12) on a small dungeon with a complexity of 1 to blow through them? And then switch back to small complexity 6 dungeons for 12+? Also, at my level (136) should I be doing medium floors whilst soloing? Any information is welcome; I am still new to this skill. :)
  22. Anything going on with santas? I can't find any threads or people selling/buying on W2, yet they're rising? I just got members again so I am slightly anxious to sell it and buy a spectral and armadyl gear.
  23. Sorry, this breaks Youtube's TOS. :( If you have any questions, feel free to PM me. |^_^|
  24. Even if you use that argument, you increase that chance by choosing to upgrade rather than format. I've always discouraged upgrading, Windows, Mac, or otherwise.
  25. Wait, how many continents are there again? :P
