  1. Nothing too ambitious. Exceed 1900 total, which won't be hard as I'm nearly there. Maybe get 99 thieving one week since it is close (considering the speed of some thieving methods), but I don't really have anything set in stone I'll just play my way through raising everything and anything. Doing slayer atm, 80+ would be a nice goal to get done if I have the time.
  2. Players should restrict themselves, Jagex should do more to encourage responsible gaming. It is both the responsibility of the gamer and the game manufacturer.
  3. That is so obviously a joke, if the person reporting you didn't see that surely Jagex should have. The punishment is hugely unfair. I don't see why you should be forced to check everything you say just incase some.. -ahem- decides to report it.
  4. Zezima. Until he slips so far down the highscores he becomes unknown and forgotten.
  5. The same issues are going to be raised with the addition of the new slayer monster (requiring 78 slayer to kill). I wonder how many people will complain about campers then, because there inevitably going to be thousands, considering over 100,000 people can kill them using pies and there is only going to be one location where they can be killed. I'm fine with the idea of camping, killing over and over is comfortable and gives consistant exp and money. If and when I come across it it annoys me, but just the point where I log off and try another world. That said, I will probably camp the new slayer monster for awhile just because of the prospect of high valued new drops. When I hit 85 slayer I'm unsure if I would camp Abyssal Demons..I would probably continue training slayer.
  6. Post his plans so we can tear them apart. I'll ask him tomorrow and get back to you. I really hope you don't tear them apart, cause he's my only chance of survival. :ohnoes:
  7. I have a friend called Steve who loves zombie movies and anything zombie related - except actual zombies of course. My plan is to get to his house as fast as possible as he has assured me on several occasions he could easily survive any zombie outbreak due to his extensive knowledge of zombies and their actions. If that fails..uhh..yeah I'd be screwed.
  8. I love paintballing, last time I went all but 1 of my friends and I got cut off and the other team came charging down towards us - the friend that was missing promtly charged up behind the other team and started firing madly and shouting, it was pretty hilarious. Needless to say, we lost. But it was fun and painful in equal measures.
  9. I train using slayer, adds variety and avoids monotomy - also lets me train three skills at once (ranged, hitpoints and slayer).
  10. Whilst I liked the first article I disagree with most of what it had to say.
  11. Because there are revenants in the wilderness which would likely reduce a new player into a pile of moldering bones. It's still one of the most dangerous areas in runescape for an inexperienced, or unprepared player. Ankous are dangerous for new players. Lesser demons are dangerous for new players. It's made very clear. There is a warning message. There are warning signs. There are guides on the runescape website. If all of this fails, if a higher level player sees a new player approaching the wilderness, he might warn them. Even if that player in question dies, he has a minute to get his very low value armor that he can probably earn back in 10 minutes, anyway. At some point, risk is just a part of the game. It's not unfair, it's not blindsiding a new player. I don't see the big [bleep] deal. I think it's kinda an aesthetic thing. Like a first like of defense against the monsters in the wilderness. In olden times large ditches were often dug around villages as a way to slow down attacking enemies either on foot or horseback, and would provide more time for archers to pick them apart. There are obstacles to getting to new areas everywhere you go in runescape, why should the wilderness be any differen? Most players dont roleplay therefore the whole defence thing is fairly meaningless. The wildnerness should be different because the ditch was introduced to combat a now redundant problem.
  12. Serves no purpose other than to annoy. I agree, remove it.
  13. #10 - What about Ancients and Lunar? Disagree with #1, rest are good. Especially #3.
  14. Adding content that is already there would not take long and would be -extremely- useful. Support.
  15. Firstly, to everyone saying you can't play when you are 10..yes you can. It is perfectly fine now to play when you are 10 you will just be restricted to QuickChat. I also agree there is no proof and it would be best if you took no action.
  16. Beatles = win. Cold War 2 = win. Sailing = FAIL@@@@@@.
  17. Quests or I go play Pest Control/Castle Wars.
  18. I don't think the new HP bar fits in with the game.
  19. I will be using a new name/account. :)
  20. Thank you. I immediately tested this out and it works superbly. Extremely useful strategies and the guide itself is well written.
  21. This is the kind of mentiality I was talking about. Sorry to say. I don't see the problem? ANY monster with a new drop will be camped, no matter what level it requires (albeit with less people). Jagex aren't stupid, people are assuming this is going to be a single release, perhaps it won't be - it makes more sense for a new batch of slayer monsters to be released at once. I expect if a slayer monster were announced to be released for a slayer level higher than your own you would train to get that level and then you'd probably camp to cash in on any new drop - most people would. Onnnn the other hand, slayer does need a bit of variety past 85, but they haven't denied releasing any other monsters along with this one, they just want a name for it.. I think we should wait and see the whole picture first.
  22. When I became a member I only had 50k and I decided to carry that whole 50k with me while I explored the new areas I had access to. Whilst looking around Karajma I encountered some natives who poisioned me..I ran back hoping to reach a bank, unfortunately I didn't make it - I got to the volcano before I realised I was about to die. I logged out, posioned and on a few HP not to log back on for another 2 months (I didn't want to loose the 50k I'd worked so hard for :() luckily my membership had ran out when I logged back on and I found myself in Lumbridge with my 50k. \ But I didn't play for 2 months for fear of losing 50k, it's funny to think of now considering how much I've lost in other situations since.
  23. The best way to explain it is; Think of mining like the exact reverse of chopping down a tree while WC'ing. Every "game tick" you swing at the rock, you have a chance to mine it. This chance is based on your current mining level and a few outside factors. This is why sometimes it only takes one "tick" to mine a rock and sometimes takes many. Sometimes a player with a lower level will win many times in a row due to their "ticks" being less than yours. This could go on for a long time, but on an overall average of thousands of swings, the player with the higher level is more likley to get more rocks. Hope that clears some things up. Thanks, I figured it may be something similar to this. Thanks for the info.
