  1. Yes he disappointed me too.. Why remove a guide for such a dramaqueen who is only in it for recognition? Knowlenge should be shared, and not be limited by 1 person's emotions! I agree that knowledge should be shared. However, somethings were necessary in order to bring about the changes needed. In any case, the guide is not gone, it's just in a different place. For now. Yes, removing something really brings about a whole lot of change while you're going. Trying to justify it...Just....
  2. I'll be glad to see the back of some of them, the forum was never this hectic and trolling was never this bad. The clamp down on trolling should have been a warning to stop being disruptive, being disruptive after that warning is just pure idiocy. And to think it was "unjust" because what you said isn't half as bad as what you said before is just developmentally delayed.
  3. Waddup with the regen brace? I don't like quests...And Regen's the next best option.
  4. Player Moderators are not forced to do anything different while playing the game. Just because they have the power to report does not mean they should. People who call Player Mods to come do something are the most irritating people in the game, "I know a Pmod I'll get them". As a Player Moderator myself there is very very few occasions where I'd go somewhere and do something for the sake of taking action against somebody, it would have to be a very extreme case that needs urgent attention to stop a risk of safety for others. Also, use your ignore list. I've told you many times before yet you seem to have a problem doing that and always complain about people continuing on saying/doing bad things. Your ignore list exists for a reason, use it. I always wanted to be a PMod. I probably would have non-stop bot hunted/scammer muted in w2. Shame, instead they seem to have given the position to more people who will mute you for saying the F word than people who actually do something. You aren't forced to do anything different, but you should. If you aren't going to don't accept the [bleep]ing modship. Afaik Player Mod reports for bots aren't handled any differently than normal players reporting them, so it doesn't matter who reports them in that case. Your attitude is the exactly opposite of what makes a good player mod. There are better ways of dealing with things than reporting every single person you see for doing the smallest stuff. Going out of your way to find these people is not why I play this game. I use my "powers" when the need arises, I don't go looking for reasons to use it and in my opinion no mod should. I wouldn't mute/report for doing "the smallest stuff", just the obvious scammers/botters who clearly have no intention of stopping. And please explain how attempting to mass ban a lot of the obvious rule breakers is a bad thing? Seems like a pretty effective way of dealing with it, they get muted so they can no longer scam and then they are potentially punished further by Jagex. Considering i see 10+ scammers at any time at w2 GE the current way that Jagex/player moderators are "dealing with things" clearly is NOT working. If PMods started to mute every scammer at GE w2, which would take no longer than a few minutes to do, scammers would come to know that w2 GE is a guaranteed mute/ban and would become far to scared to pull any scams there. And yes, that doesn't solve the problem entirely, but it does a decent chunk of damage to scammers in general and perhaps makes them think about the consequences before they try to scam again. Right, as DarkDude98 has said himself...Player Moderators aren't obliged to do anything, in all honesty. I am one myself, and as he, I'm not too keen on going out of my own way to travel to another location to deal with something others can stop themselves. Most people won't report those botters themselves, or add them to their ignore lists, but are more happy to complain when a P-Mod doesn't do it; as if it is our duty...job. It's not. People need to understand that. I can tell you now that if you were one you wouldn't spend all day muting people...That's not the point, at all. Most people don't learn after being muted, either. I've seen people caught out for scamming, punished, and back doing it a week later.
  5. I was with Gradeskip93 (Zr) yesterday, he wanted to show me what he had done at the garden. He had trapped 64 bots with his Vexillum, I was amazed.
  6. Bought Torva plate 577M and legs 583M. Helm didn't buy yet, but I did throw plate back in for a sneaky 7m profit.
  7. Sold yellow a few hours ago, 1050M. Seems as though I sold it too early, because just after that there was people trying to buy it for that price. So I assume it was going higher, after that. Took a few minutes for mine to sell. 3a's crashing, too. Sold plate 3M under med and legs 2M under med. Currently trying to buy Torva, now. Also, Divine's 830M or so roughly and Elysian is currently 515M.
  8. Yes, bots crashed the servers...
  9. :ohnoes: Oh my.
  10. same but I decided to channel my efforts into something just as constructive The only person I found was a level 21 noob begging for money ;-;, all intelligent life is gone. I did give him some though In Above picture ge is trolling me, has eaten my fire rune but not given me gp, and I cannot get the rune back I swear to god... If my money is gone and my 22k dragon bones aren't there when I'm able to log back in.....  -.- I've a yellow in the G.E., it better still be there when I get back on.
  11. Effort into support because of downtime for the first time in over a year? Are you taking the piss? Players will have to learn to be happy, because life can't always be a smooth ride; problems do occur, and everything can't operate as it's supposed to on every given day. I can do nothing but laugh at the sudden attitude that some people have adopted.
  12. Unless a source is supplied, I'm not necessarily convinced.
  13. RSC is working normally, now. I still can't get on RS2, so going to chill here for a while longer.
  14. Indeed, longest time the servers have been offline in well over a year, damn Jagex WE WANT TO SCAPE 24/7! Get real.
  15. A DDoS attack on the RuneScape servers themselves would require a ridiculous amount of resources, no-one could have done this, really. This is simply an error on their side, and not the work of some 13 y/o skiddie.
  16. I'd like to think the same, Toad. But that would only be if they had actually given us some kind of warning...Rather than knocking everything off, literally.
  17. I would be all for removing it...! Because I would then get to see swarms of people ranting to Jagex to undo their changes after I and people like me begin milking the economy for much more.
  18. Comments from the OP regarding what myself and others there at the time would be appreciated; that is, if this thread isn't just a troll thread.
  19. Or someone who isn't paying much attention and making mistakes clicking. Eh, lets not try and find little problems...For your sake, I'll even make a pretty picture for you. If you spend over an hour running between those two points, without changing course or touching the bank, and moving spot at the same exact intervals (As I said, every few seconds), then it's down to more than just "mis-clicking" while training.
  20. I rarely train, My_Eggs. And I suppose I didn't word that correctly. I'm talking about repeating the same steps, over-and-over. Following the same line when training, etc. Not just grinding away at a skill. I.e. running around the same area for over an hour while halting at a certain spot for so many seconds within that hour. Yeah, that's the sign of a bot - or someone who has a few screws loose, to me.
  21. Wow, of all people to make this thread it just so happens to be you. I saw you at Soul Wars bank the other day, funnily enough, we were all assuming you were a bot. Who else stands in the one spot for a few seconds, before running as far north as possible for a few seconds, then returning back to that same previous spot? For over an hour? Then suddenly logging off and coming back 30 minutes or so later but this time actually clicking on the bank? Yeah, sorry I'm not convinced. Things aren't getting really bad, people are botting and it's very clear. Whether or not they are talking doesn't make a difference. Personally I don't care if people think I'm a bot, because they never have to as I'm not doing any crazy repetitive actions.
  22. And when these sessions take place (As they have been - behind the scenes of the public eye) every world is searched, not just the one or two. Every world. Like cycling through every world at the Green Dragons, etc. It is working, what you choose to believe and what truly is happening thankfully aren't the same. And banning bots "here and there" is better than not banning them while trying to improve a system that those J-Mods probably can't. Not everyone would be capable of working on Bot Detection, while all are capable of attending bot-busting sessions.
  23. This isn't just a new thing they're doing; simply the first time it has been publised.
