I don't see how you can say yes to one and no to the other, really. In my opinion - yes to both. You can't really call it "Uber" if you're going the lazy way about trying to obtain it. You either do everything and get it or you don't -- and don't get it. You can't really claim that you are worthy of the cape itself if you're unwilling to put in the time required to obtain two requirements which most deem very difficult. If you don't want to do that - that's your choice. But you shouldn't be given the cape due to plain laziness. Don't expect it if you're not willing to work for it. Not everything has to be enjoyable; a lot of things are time consuming and boring and if you've maxed your account already you'll be used to that.

I'm willing to chin and increase my Ranging level, but Nomad's Requiem and Recipe for Disaster seem to be quite a lot of work extra. I appreciate all of your posts! And that will be especially helpful, Montychuck!

I don't have a Soul Wars cape, nor Barrows Gloves. A dragon defender? Would Divine not be better? Or should I get an Elysian too? I have an imbued Berserker ring. Also a whip, no rapier. I don't slay, so I don't have a FSH (I presume that's what you're talking about!) I also don't have an EEE. I do have claws.

Well - the computer's not so bad that it's impossible to play. It's just not quite 100%. I can play fairly decent on HD...I'm willing to give it a go I just need assistance with my gear and inventory needs.

Hi there, I'm curious to know what kind of setup I would require to complete the Fight Caves and acquire myself the Fire Cape - one which I've long waited for. I'm not sure if my stats are up for the task, considering I'm not much of a PVM'er and I don't quite have the quickest reflexes in the world nor the most lag-free computer. I also have Overloads and Turmoil, and a Divine Spirit Shield if that changes anything. I don't have any Chaotics, and my range level is pathetic. So any advice on how I should go about obtaining it - what inventory setup I should bring (I'll need a full run-down - I'm not used to this kind of thing!), etc. would be much appreciated. I disagree. Phoenix was the first to 200m, and he did it during the trade limit. Larryr quit, and I don't support quitters. Also, pheonix has about 5/4ths more exp than Larryr. How much XP Phoenix has over her is irrelevant - she made a huge impact... He didn't. Retaining #1 spot for as many years as she did deserves recognition. But if we think about it for a moment... Has this had an effect on botters? Seeing as their normal right-click option would have been Aubury, will it halt their activities until they get updated?

Now, let's add some happy little trees... Everybody needs a friend. Even a tree... Looks like an interesting graphical update. I'm not really interested in the Livid Farm itself -- only the spells it rewards, but I'm not yet willing to put in the time to achieve 60 Farming to begin nor put aside 40 hours to get the spells. Looks like unlimited Home Teleport is now permanent, last week the text in the spell-book hadn't changed, now it has. It doesn't state that there's a 30-minute timer any longer. Too lazy to read the patch notes, anyway.

Oh of course - I know they are all dropping, but the yellow's something I don't particularly plan on selling - or profiting from. I just wanted to get rid of the red. And I'm taking the last days of being in World 2 as examples, last night however was just...More than usual. And I think the span of a few hours, observing more than one subject, is a little more to go on than one subject within a shorter period of time.

I think you really did well there -- reds seem to be going well under 1.3, so unless yellows have really crashed, this was nice for you. I'm not trying to sound like I'm stalking you but like almost every of your post in this thread is bashing red partyhats as if you have a grudge against them. I went into Epic Rares cc and saw that someone DGed his red for yellow + 285m + full dharoks and bgs. Thats ~301m. So considering 260m is what you think a "well decision", you should honestly stop trying to manipulate prices. :-w Is that the case? Or are you are you simply jumping onto one example? I had my red in the G.E. for 3 hours at 1270M, then I put it down to 1260M...still nothing. I was getting petty offers in world 2 for it. 260M + Yellow - at that moment - was a good deal. If you were in World 2 last night or early today...One thing you would have noticed is that there was the odd seller of a hat that wasn't red. Last night there was 6/7 people trying to sell reds, legitimately.

Yellow's hanging at 1.01-1.1 it seems - a range of prices really going for it. Where as red..I couldn't sell for 1260 in the G.E. I'm happy, although it was a 40M loss.

Someone I was speaking with yesterday was selling Plate and Legs at 1650M. It does look like it's dropping 50M per day or two.

Who seriously cares about an extra day or two? That's rather pathetic. You may lose a day here or there, and gain another elsewhere. So what? 7 months of the year have 31 days, 4 have 30 and 1 has 28. What's the big deal? 5 extra days throughout the year if you were going by your idea of 30 days/month. I don't see that as a bad thing.

Myself and a friend both upgraded from yellow to red. He got Red for yellow + 290, I got it for yellow + 300. Average of yellow at the moment is 1070M.

Parted with 3A helm and 3A kite on Ge. Helm sold for 42M (4M under trade price) and Shield sold for 76.M (4.5 under trade).

Trust trades aren't reportable. I've asked a very strict pmod in my CC about this and he said there's nothing you can do apart from ignoring it. They are bannable. Your mod friends needs to be de-modded if he doesn't know basic rules. Actually, no. That's not the case, at all. They aren't actually bannable I'm afraid. You can report it, yes. And that player can be muted, but they won't be banned. It's your choice to trust a stranger with your money. We have moved on from the times of 2007 and before, where there luring was bannable. Now that too is a case of -- we've given you the warnings, it's your choice with how you act.

Riemis; think you and I had the exact same options. And yes, those flames look awful!
