  1. What does EW3 bring to the table that seems to have everyone very...happy? I know I don't use the Shield nor the Helmet from the previous two quests.. :?
  2. 'Tis not boring at all! Congratulations SDN and enjoy the imbued rings.
  3. Sarcasm isn't easily detected on the internet. :ugeek:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2drsGwI7MZc A very awesome trailer, now only if they had that on the tv for the 2 minutes or whatever it lasts it'd be amazing!
  5. Do you keep it plugged in when you're using it? (As if it were a desktop?)
  6. This does look quite interesting! What faction will you be joining? (If you do take part) I'll be siding with the Judges!

I <3: Majin Great entry :) Going to listen to the pod cast now.
  8. IRC, or "Internet Relay Chat" is like a...Giant chatroom of sorts, ones based around RuneScape have players who play RuneScape, RuneScape related Bots (Not RuneScape bots, but little help-tools on IRC to track your XP gains, or ones to check the prices of items on the Grand Exchange--Taken from the Grand Exchange Database). RuneScript is one of these "bots", which is a Partner of Tip.It. Tip.It has its own IRC server which you can access by following several simple steps.
  9. I'd be lost without IRC!

Lots and lots of Coffee! And on the weekends lots of Diet Coke to keep me awake to game'! I haven't had a can of Rockstar in over a year. 'twas very cheap; 2 for 2 500ml cans in one garage. Has "Cocaine" been released in any countries? It's said to contain 10 times more caffeine than Red Bull, however I've not seen it anywhere in Ireland.
  11. I see no reason what-so-ever for anyone other than Jagex empoyee's to "beta test" anything RuneScape related. There is nothing you will find that the QA team probably haven't already went over, it's when there's a hundred-thousand people playing the same content that bugs start to arise, not 50. Unless they decide to use known bug-abusers to beta test this isn't going to happen and doesn't really make of much discussion because all know it's not going to happen.
  12. I'm still playing MAG and it's still amazing fun, really can't believe how much I've gotten out of this game; glad I got rid of the rest of my games too. I really would recommend it to anyone who enjoys MMO games, that's basically what MAG is and with a mic, the team work just...everything about it makes me love it.
  13. Moved this to Questionnaires as there's nothing really to be discussed and the main post is basically a question. :-) To contribute; Back in my day I learned to forget about the past because the future is always promisingly brighter.

  15. If you want to have voice chat with people you know there are many places you can do that, it is not necessary at all for RuneScape and would involve absolutely no real moderation and could potentially be dangerous for the younger players. This would be something which would have to be disabled for people who aren't 18+, but then you'd be left with people simply re-registering as 18+. I don't think it's a good idea, I've thought about it myself many-a-time but I honestly don't see any necessity for it. Text chat has been used for 10 years, no reason for that to change with the release of a skill.
  16. I'm locking this, there's already a topic which contains all updates relevant to the ticket information ( Jagex Presents RuneFest 2010! ) and has been edited with this. So no reason for two topics.

  18. No, we just don't hate Jagex for no apparent reason and dislike everything they do without real reason, just because of who they are. I'm not sure what they've done to you in the past to anger you, but just because we don't share that same anger and hatred doesn't mean we are "Kissing their [wagon]", that's just your overall view.
  19. Just because people aren't out to complain about every little thing that Jagex do does not make them "suck up's", I'm sorry, but you seem to be branding everyone that doesn't have the same mindset as you as a "Suck up", no, we just don't have reason to hate Jagex. Plain and simple, they've done nothing wrong to me, I'm not losing sleep, I don't care because I could obtain that item but I choose not to. Why aren't you complaining about them getting items in real life, signed Jagex goodies? You're not there, you can't get them. Surely that's unfair? But, they give something oh-so-small to the people who do fork out the £75 and suddenly all hell breaks loose and people are pretending they care about it just to cause a scene, make a name for themselves in this "We hate Jagex and everything they do!" stance they have. You don't have to buy this item, what are you talking about? You can if you so wish choose to buy a ticket, which this item is accompanied with. You see it as negative, yes, that's you. I know many who see it as a positive thing, it's a learning curve for Jagex too. They will learn from their mistakes just like you, I and everyone else has done. Not everyone/everything is perfect, Market Research only covers so much. Out of touch? No, again, this is just a personal thing, you dislike the content. That's a-okay. Please don't say "The customer base" when referring to what appears to be the minority.
  20. If you wish to be picky, then paying for membership is money for pixels. Because paying $5 through the internet is comparable to $75 + travel costs, and adding that going to Cambridge is only feasable for both adults and those living in the UK(or northwest Europe (like 5% of rs players?). I'm giving a perfectly valid example - It was said that getting this banner was money for pixels, it's the exact same thing. If you really want it, you can get it. People are blowing this out of proportion, you and I know that. This isn't a big deal.

  22. All I can do is watch the people who have those ears, or that Scythe, or those who made billions from those partyhats. Right now we can get this Flag, in 1 year, we won't be able to. In 2004 we could get those ears, 2 weeks later (I think?), no-one could. Are people complaining about that? No, they got over it. Everyone will get over this, it will be forgotten about soon enough, people just like to make hay while the sun shines, in this context they like to complain while the content is fresh.
  23. Seems like it. :???: Ugh, I thought Runescape was supposed to NOT be like other MMO's... Farewell uniqueness, you lasted 10 years, no longer. Yes, because the other hundred times Runescape has apparently become like every other MMO it hasn't counted a month after when everybody has had time to think and forget. People around here really do make mountains out of mole hills. Big time Dan, people seriously make things out to be worse than they actually are; there's nothing wrong! RuneScape has said to have "died" now a countless number of times due to some update Jagex make, yet, we're all still here. What gives? What reason is there to rant about every single update? This isn't even an update! Jeez, I think people have begun to argue for the sake of argue just "for lulz", I think people have taken things way too far. Quite a few people will be dishing out money to attend this "Festival", now is it such a bad thing that they were there? Shall I and thousands of others rant because we can't get Bunny Ear's anymore? Or the Scythe? They are, after all untradable items which so many will never be able to get, but they symbolise something for all those who were around back in '04 and years prior, they show that they have been playing since then. Now, these Flags are going to show that these players attended RuneFest 2010. What's the difference? There is little. For those who are saying it's RWT - Jagex own RuneScape, they are a company, and quite simply; they can do what they want. The only real reason I'm upset is the reason I'm missing out is I neither have the time nor the money to go. I move into college the day of Runefest. Had this been last year, I would have gone to London for "vacation" using the money I made from working @ camp during the summer. But now thats all into paying for college. I'm not upset that I wasn't playing in '04, or missed Christmas Crackers and Halloween masks, I can't physically go back in time to obtain them. We should be seeing: "Okay, I can't go. No big deal." instead, I'm seeing; "Because I can't go this is a catastrophe! What gives them the right to give away free stuff to people who attend RuneFest, if I don't get it, no-one should!". Who took the rattler?
