As far as I'm aware they're looking into this, but they'll "remove" all other familiars if they're all in the same place so you'll just see your own.

If it's going to be web-browser based (like most Jagex titles) then 1 year is more than enough time. They'll probably base most of it off SD layout and/or designs.

Bots don't login straight away (proper bots anyway) because it's a new loader app, eg, the version of the game itself, they need to update their client, so someone will have to de-obfuscate the client and such.

My opinion is the best update this month will be the RoW (aside from the BXPW). Seeing as Jagex have got our wanting of a "smithing update" entirely wrong... Why didn't they simply just ask on the Forums for christ sake?

I think I might pay people to carry Essence for me, maybe like 100K per inventory, do that for the first 30 minutes maybe. (RC).

All my herbs in Miscelannia will become useful now :) I think I might do Thieving, maybe Mining actually as I hate training that skill and it's slow.

From what it reads; they're making the image with all our display names and then we can "tag" them if we want, if we don't, our names will still be on the image any way. They're probably doing it for another "world record" probably "the most user-tagged image on facebook".

If all you want to do is stretch an image you can do so in HTML with ease: <img src="imagefile.xxx" width="??px" height="??px" border="0" alt="hover image name" />

I thought effigies were supposed to be hard to obtain though?

They aren't allowed, it has been suggested before, if they were to do so, then they'd have to make the game-age restriction higher.

I think it was to keep people playing the game for a long time.

This is a great idea, I've thought of this before but didn't do it (reason below). Been an owner of a prestige signature generator website I can see you getting lots of help and success from it. Reason I didn't add this; Because people can turn the AdvLog system "off", however, I did think maybe it could check the AdvLog first, then if no results use the old hiscores, maybe you should do that, hope I helped in some way :)

Sounds to me like we're going to see a LOT of players with quests complete with stat-resetted stats.

Fury will stay the same, possibly even rise in price. Jagex have said they won't change it back to the "easy-way" to obtain Onyx gems from the shop.

I think it would have been nice for them to "recommend" PC specs, as they said, 28% and 23% of their users are using low-end computer hardware, it would have been nice to say something like; We recommend 'x' ghz and 'x' mb of dedicated graphics, 'x' gb of ram, etc.
