No. yak is far better, since you can bank all the hides+bones+ranaar+addy bar drops+all those other drops worth a few k, meaning you get around 15-17k a kill BEFORE rare drops like axes or rings.

That guide is old and not all that good to begin with. That is a guide a friend made. Personally, when I solo with pony, I use this gear. V helm Fury K top V Skirt Infinity boots Void mace Obby Shield (+65 range def, and cheaper too.) Barrows gloves. You can use arma plate instead of K top, but you are risking it then, I do believe. For invy, I bring House tele, runes, EE, which I prefer above SGS (Def boost, don't have to find a spin to spec on, and always heals 20 hp), 4-5 antipoisions ++, balmung, rune c'bow+broads in arrow slot, 4 brews, the rest are super rests for soul split or if I want to tribrid some. With a yak, I'd use brews+normal restore pots and a few prayer pots. The beauty of the yak is that you get at least 15k in drops every kill, so don't be cheap and bring monks+p pots or something in the yak, so you have to dismiss earlier and use a pony.

Not helpful. Street prices are different, and the market is still rather volitile. I know how to figure it that way, but I don't know what is going on with pots/herbs/sups REAL price.

I am nearing 99 prayer, and was interested in getting 88 herb. Does anyone know a rough time in hours for 71-88, and a GP cost roughly? I use to know how to figure out the best way, but know, all the prices are FUBARED. Also, what looks good with prayer cape for skilling?

This means that it is included in a dragon's main drop, and it is never the main drop itself, meaning it can be dropped as well as another item, such as the Dragon platelegs. As such, it has been confirmed by Jagex, that the visage is NOT affected by the Ring of wealth. It is unknown whether the drop rates are different for each monster. Hmm, you are wrong there. "Saying the RoW effect is extremely low is based on baseless assumption." BS. It has been shown that, over time and through testing, there is about a 1% increase in rare drops. Need I go on?

That's wrong. I actually remember a Jmod mentioning in a Dev Blog how update days are frantic and they have to coordinate loads of simultaneous releases ect... Would YOU want to be dragged into work over Christmas? Nobody wants to work at Christmas and generally most businesses close or let their staff have time off. With Tort, turmoil and AGS, as well as pwny for after tort was empty, I only barely got 4 kills last solo. 2-3 is good.

shouldn't that apply for other arrows too? why just addy? Addy arrows p++ are the most common p++ arrow in the game. Very few, if any, players poison their own arrows. However, many addy p++ arrows are brought into the game through zammy GWD. Therefore, addy arrows ++ are more influenced then other arrows.

Noooo, actually. PvP has been shown by several people to not be the main cause of inflation. And you state that jagex will "fix" mint cakes as a fact. Whilst there is, of course, that chance, it is by no means a sure thing. And if they do, then players will use another item as a fiat currency, and the cycle will continue. The players are smarter than jagex, in many ways. The market will most likely never be based only on the GE price, unless jagex removes free trade altogether.

I wouldn't have started RS if I didn't know it was free. Most new players will be happy with F2P for at least a few months, if not longer. So I don't have a problem with it.
