for the speed v damage thing say we have 2 weapons. thay both have the Same damage per a second (dps). difrence, one is faster but weaker and hits less often. whitch one wins? the faster one. when pking, hitting high too try and get KO's can be efective, but thats more of a specal situation. the thing you have to note is, in runescape, the faster weapon wins. becouse thay simply have a higher dps. so thats 2 in favor for the faster weapon. in member pking, defence is inportent as to avoid getting pjed. in f2p pking, defence is just as inportent but for difrent resons, pjing is less of a problem so simply takeing less damage in the fight is usefull. when pvping (pvp and pk are very difrent) defence is vital. plain and simple really. 2h is worth the shield slot when going for ko's in pking. otherwise try to keep a shield. after 65 attack, training it can be usefull, but not vital. high attack, low strength with high strength weapon: tbh the only f2p weapon like that is the 2h, so no. low attack, high strength with high attack(accurate) weapon: all hail the over powered scimy :thumbdown: full rune + scimy simply is the best, even with full rune a mage can have trubble hitting you if the full rune guy has a few mage levels. and there is no reson as to why he wont just swap his boddy for a gren d hide one, officaly makeing the mage doomed. the only togh monster a f2p will ever fight are revs, and other players. anything else, it wont matter if your useing crush, stab or slash. so why not use the one with the highest dps. and last of all, f2p dont need more weapons, just equal weapon. well, its evective the same thing for mage, give em more spells.

I agree fully, Silvertaler. RS should be a game in which you can choose to be a skiller or a quester. Even if some skill levels are certainly needed, you shouldn't have to have 99 in all skills to complete quests. that is true, skill grinding does not make a quest harder to finish, just harder to start. but to the same amount, i also think that haveing higher skills, although not "required" still should make things easier, and maybe alow for shortcuts, and i dont mean being given the same obsitcal with just less chance of failing it depending on your level (under ground pass anyone?). if i dont train, say, runecrafting becouse its slow and boring then being made to grind that skill for a quest i really want to finish. its just less fun. i would rather not bother with the skill, and do the quest, even if it takes longer and/or more efort to finish it without said skill.

once a player was "selling free mems, 3k gp" lulwut? then i got muted. dam. ya know what i sayd, and this was seeing if he was just scaming acounts or gp, "do you want MY pass" man i love that pic, anyway.. the system is messed up, jagex simply does not have the manpower to deal with the shear number of reports being shoved in there face. i would love it if things changed and thay could have a 100+ squad of pure reporter filter people, even then i dont think thay would do much more then dent the messed-ness. well, you can give jagex a few million $ to pay for a system upgrade, or you can just avoid saying stuff that will trip the computers alarm. i know what one im doing. if only jagex knew what we where doing.

It didn't last time and it was clearly mentioned it won't work this time...so yeah... I'm seriously beginning to worry about the mental health of most scapers- no matter how much information jagex gives us, people will still say that they will be doing prayer, summoning or superheating gold...I mean, i wasn't around for the first weekend, but i still knew why none of these would make any sense during this weekend, that, and having the patience to read 30 lines for conformation. belive it or not i know what you mean. thanks anyway, it just means higher xp bonus for herb for me then :^_^:

prayer then herb then mage after that just throw time at random skills :thumbsup: p.s. does guilded alter/ectofungis stack with xp weekend? if not then there goes a load of my money...

i never pk, ever, but i never go anywhere without a lumby ring. well i sometimes took a wealth insted but now i know how useless thay are. anyway, untill im the type of player that can aford bandos and zerker rings, it simply is the best ring there is. only ring in the game that has a prayer bonous. free inf tele to a place that, although kinda nowhere, is not far from many places the port (besdies void sumons, no tele gets you as close to pest control as well) fally fally farming patch anywhere in f2p that is not: wildy, varrac, al karid or lumbrige 150% energy daily. 10% more elemental runes. ect ect at least in f2p, takeing any other ring is mad, where prayer bonous, mage attack and runing = win. i guess the saying, jack of all trades, king of none comes in to play, it does meany things better and worse then other rings.

when you log out, your start reset timer (going up/down to its real level) gets reset. logging out and logging in over n over can keep a boosted start forever. perfect for stews and there unreliable +6 boost.

we all know that warrior ring or zerker ring debate. well now we have the zerker ring and another ring that adds allmost as much str, but with the added efect of spec attack and an arguably lowwer price. do you think this would replace the zerker ring? if so how much would it drop in price. discuss.

...what would you want changed and how would it efect you? what if you could telyport. what if hunting dragons dident get you stuck in a mental hospital :blink: what if you could learn to ride a bike just by talking to a snake in a cave somewhere. what if someone came to you and asked wheres all the rum gone? as for me, i wouldent mind the fact that in rs you can go and get money whenever you want. insted of just getting a set time job. telyport nodes for major locations would be sweet, i would soo want to skip a 12h flight, but still get from melbourne and get to paris :P and lastly, but clearly most inportently, i want a toad shooting cannon! :mrgreen:

i would say its a matter of opnion, but you said not to say that, sooo ima gona say that the "best" skill is any of them as "best" can mean anything. best money maker, best fun, best xp ect however if you must have an answer, dunge.

if your hellbent on winning at all costs, yes. if not, no.

i went to the knight with 0 prayer points, i dont know when he started "draining" it (i could hear the sound efect) but it was kinda random and more or less from the start. side thing, is it me or are quest-boss monsters getting stronger for there combat level?
