  1. i have never seen any manipulator, clan or otherwise, indefinitely hold the prices of a non-discontinued items artificially high. so no, based on what i've seen, it is not possible. well what you said was "not seen", and that still lets things be open to "posible". although yea its allmsot certen that merchers would let them go down sometime.
  2. with fury, inf boots, seer ring (normal), god cape and SOL. with void; deflecter, gloves, elite bottom. mage attack: 76 x1.3 = 95 (yes the void set does not work like that but it gives an idea of how it would end up) prayer boonous: 9 avrige defence: about 120 cost: 23 million and the time to get void remove void and replace with ahrims and arcane ss. mage attack: 130 prayer boonous: 8 avrige defence: about 130 to 150 cost: a bit under a billion void is compairible to ahrims but i would still call ahrims better. its worth noteing that going for weaker equipment will widen the gap betwen void and ahrims so if you dont want to be around here with 50 million geepee of armour risked alone, dont use void.
  3. is it me or has quite a few old threads been bumped lately? anyway This, def + summ pures pay ~5k each for crimson lootshare at rock lobsters. Getting them without the hassle would easily put them into the 10-20k range. I guess the richest would buy out blues for 50k each maybe? yes i would say thats a very good bet on the price, maybe not 50k though as thats kinda more exspensive then most pouch meterials anyway. (until all the merch clans jump on them <_< )

  5. For real does spell check exist on whatever planet you hail from... Really what your saying is you want the triangle destroyed all together... and this I do not support. Your crossbow idea is spot on, and mage is pretty good as well but using these ideas would in no way create a need for All classes to be equal. Idk what you were trying to say with your post, why would we want Mage=melee=range, rather in the wild I would like the triangle to be fixed so more people would use mage giving me more mage targets to kill so that I don't always have to hit through full rune for ko's :smile: also how do you manage to spell mage with a k... g and k are like two letters apart well its just what i thinik that the combat triangle is not needed, but i would gladdly keep the combat triangle if things became balanced anyway. and is it a bad thing if f2p range gets a pot? melee has one so why not the other 2 thirds of the triangle? as for my spelling, so what? saddly its probably not going to change anytime soon.
  6. by the sound of it, thay should simply remove the shields and get new ones. it probably would be best to get rid of the efect it does, and make it just take 40lp of its strong class and 20 lp of its own class. so chaotic shield hit with an arrow that would of done 100 damage hits 60 insted. but stop its charge draining faster when soaking damage. still sucks but obviusly does and maybe less so.

  8. i bet somoning pures are drooling at the thought of this thing now! :P anyway, besdies unicorn and titan scrolls, i dont see much use for this. would be nice if it efected the Fruit bat. i wonder, does it efect the Abyssal titan? faster essense shipments could be usefull.
  9. if i where jagex and/or god. i would simply Annihilate the comabt triangle as it is. make range has the longest ranges weapons (mostly) give made slightly shorter range weapons. and melee, well, as melee. make all classes roughly = to each other. give range less acuracy but more KO potnetail. give melee less accuracy and less KO. give make more accuracy and more KO. make all melee weapons of ther same metal closer togeather in efectiveness (aka, not scimy > everything) also give a give a bunch of mage items specal attacks. (mems) make most specal attacks less geard towards KOing. melee armour would have lowwed defence, and be extra heavy. range armour have tough negetige attack bonous to melee. give mage armour defence. lowwer melee prayer bonous's. (that is, for mems) give mage and range higher and more prayer boosting armour. (mems) f2p mage would get next level of bind and spell. and armour requireing level 40 mage/defence (split bark?) f2p range would also get next grade of arrow and bow (rune/yew). yew and gravite bows are the only bows that can use rune arrows in f2p. give f2p crossbows up to addamant (ok i know, should be rune but thats too usefull in members to become f2p :( ) and bolts up to addamant (not blureite as that must be fletched) and no bolt specal tips. f2p mage should get battle staffs (only single elments though) range would also get ranges weapons such as throwing axe, javalin. useless junk like that. put a lot more monsters around that dont use melee/use melee and other combat styles. and lastly throw in attack pot, defence pot, mage pot and range pot (not super/exstream). thats what i would do, do you think it would be enough?
  10. god swords are a funny lot. the day they where added to rs. whip was faster xp (how do people still not get that...) now there even more out dated by rapiure. as for the most powerfull weapon in the game, thay got repl;aced by pvp wepaons not too long after. as for specal attacks, exspet zamy spec (and thats useless anyway) thay all have a better weapon for that. void deflecter is also a factor, no longer is a 2h weapon the only real good option with void. it apears to me that god swords where kinda out dated in the first place. its only going to get worse. how long will it be b4 a weapon requires say 90 attack and makes gos swords look like bronze?
  11. i mean, he does have an infinite supply of novite battleaxes. dont wanna mess w that lol but really, i know there is a lot of money to be had in this but would a fremnick really be this disloyal? not to mention HOW he gets all thouse items past the magical ness. ...could the smuggler me a Mahjarret in descise? it would be an efective way to get to the bottem of the dungeion, getting a bunch of humans (with a bit of help) do it for him. besdies, if thok and marm did get to the bottem, what stoped them for simply becomeing toast (possibly literally) at the raw power of who made the dungeion?
  12. as others have said, 20 is a bit too much. maybe it should be something like you bind bank = the amount uyou can bind x2 (max 8 and 2 ammo binds banked) that looks fair to me. anyway this is a really good idea, i would love to bind a surge box + staff for when i feal like mageing and a high end 2h spear for other times. one nice side efect of this is that it would alow me to go dunge in f2p without stuffing up my binds (i dunge with f2p friends for fun), its anoying comeing in to a dungeion with nuthing but you feet and hands to kill things with.

  14. imo, if you bot a lot, perm ip ban for ever. also perm ip ban for every ip within 10m of that ip. if you bot a little. acount ban/mute for 1 week to a year (depending on how much botting etc) botting a difrent acount beocuse of this/at the same time = botting a lot = perm ip ban. if your a gold farmer, perm ip ban for you and every computer within 100m. no apeals, ever. its harsh. probably too harsh. but is it even close to the scale of 2007 anti bot mesures? it would suck, a lot, if you got banned by mistake. but i feal it might just be worth it. in the mean time, jagex should remake all the old skills. and i dont mean adding effegiys here and fish flingers there. total remake of the system. its no wonder people bot when wood cutting is just clicking an object and waiting until you finish cutting it... over 9000 times... not to mention thats the type of activeity that bots can do with the least progeming.
  15. ^ Agreed. Also if botting was stopped in its tracks the number of players would plummet. Currently people bot on multiple accounts at the same time as they play their main or do other stuff on the Internet. There is now such a culture of botting its almost like if you can't beat them join them. RS almost needs to allow legit botting officially to make it fair for normal players like letting your char woodcut while you are not even logged on or something. That way it takes away the grinding aspect of the game too. ohh god... really? REALLY??!! sorry, i am going to sound like a troll but that is jibberish. total and utter [cabbage]. bots are bad for the game. yes prices might be higher but for the love of zamorak how would that be a bad thing?! so what if you could get money somewhat faster then b4 on slow money makers that are not nearly as fast as other methods (boss hunting, pking etc) and cant people get in there heads that just becouse a bot pays memberhsip does not mean jagex gains money from it?!! all bots do is deflate prices and provide free xp to people brakeing the rules. even if bots are a good thing, thay are against the rules. so you should not use them at all. if a game has rules that you think stop it being fun... play a difrent game and dont spoil it for us. i dont see why people can justify bots by the artiical priceing thay put on items. if a yew log was ment to be 2k gp, its ment to be 2k gp. and even if it was 2k gp, that would mean people would cut so many of them that to stay at 2k would be nuthing more then a merch clan or a glitch on the grad GE. sorry if you feal i am flameing you 2, but i hate bots. i want them to all go to computer hell :evil: bots can go burn in eternal BURNING

We can't figure out yet exactly how much and how often it sucks, but we do know it sucks. rune wiki: "While worn, the special attack cost for combat summoning familiars is reduced by 20%, this does not apply to scroll special attacks. Many factors show that this cape has limited uses. For example, the unicorn familiar's 'cure' ability will have its special move points cost reduced by -20%. Scrolls are unaffected. Players will not gain the ability to use more than the current number of scrolls. For example, the Unicorn stallion will not be able to heal you any more than 3 times in a row. In short, approximately 6 familiars have a right click option for a special move which requires points." dam... i was going to get it just for the ability to use scrolls more often...

Oh that is quite an interesting idea to be the last person to be the first to 200million xp still none the less both achievments are a few of the elite goals out there. anyway im not much of a fan for slayer but this is still an amazeing achivement. geting max xp, being the first, or 100th to do so, its still impresive (but being first is even better XD) what will this mean in the future i wonder, when all skills have the max xp. the only real goal besides maxing another skill... like the other 20 people... i wonder if jagex will use a difrent intiger in the future as to alow higher numbers in the game.
  19. thats what i would of said! lol yea, i dont know why lumby is higher requirements, maybe varak is heavy in magic, maybe the king forced mages to make it easy to get there as to get as many advantueres buying stuff from there shops as posible. who knows, all i know if i have at least 4 difrent ways to get to the ge in under 60 seconds now.
  20. When did they change that? Your in-game status and your forum status used to be separate. It's been that way for as long as I can remember, so since around '06 or so. i remember jagex saying something about forum mutes efecting your rs use and rs mutes efects you forum use. but i dont have the slightest clue when i remember that from.
  21. i saw this thread and was like "WTF?! f2p area exspanded??!!" then i realised it sayd access insted lolz. anyway, 350 total is ither to high ar to low. thay should jsut make it you must of been playing the game for at least 1 week total playing time (for both mems and f2p) well turthfully i dont really care, never used the RSOF and probably never will.
  22. chaotic kite has: +20 stab +25 slash +11 crush -7 mage +32 range defence when compaired with divine. chaotic kite soaks damage probably from 1 to 20% for range and 1 to 10% for melee. avrige of 10% range damage soaked. 5% melee damage soaked. (rounded to be simple) the probably is becouse we dont really know how it works, but we know its up to 20% for range. the range defence is 64% bigger stat wise. so, asumeing you have 0 defence levels (lol) and you have no other armour equiped (lololol) the chaotic kite will block 64% more hits, but soak 1 third of the damage. things worth noteing: is defence is parabolic or the like the amount of blocked hits would be grater. it is unknown how often the range soak activates (allways? 1 in 10?) i will not count cost becouse if you can aford to chouse between a chaotic kite or a divine, you got money to burn. however risk of loseing each shield is still a factor worth noteing. max hits are lower with divine so even if you take more damage, you still might die less often. with chaotic kite its posible that it might not soak any damage at all when Graardor would hit a max. with divine Graardor max hit is roughly 420 with kite his max is roughly 600 or 480 is the full 20% kicks in. becouse Graardor has a max of about 600 (i dont clame to be an exspert, but that is corecct is it not?) that menas 2 thirds of hits will be 200+ efectively removeing a third from the avrige soak. so thats 30% for divine and 7% for chaotic if anything on this post menas something with 0 defence and no other armour chaotic kite has a 64% higher chance if blicking a hit, and lowers all range damage by an avrige of 7% divine lowers all range (and other 2 classes) damage by an avrige of 30% i shal let you all talk about what this means.
  23. im winning right now in terms of xp per day zarfot gained about 1.5m in last 2 days, ive gained 2m im expecting about 10m dung xp this week, zarfot will probably average like 1m/d both of our xp/d will increase as we gain prestige tho so it wont be long before we both hit 1.5m a day i think i stand a fair shot, cuz i think he may stop at 120 and ill keep going strong for 200m i have allways wonderd... what hapens to token gain after max xp? lol you would have 20,000,000 tokens (not counting rounding, spending and xp lamps etc) so i guess you could get your self 100 chaotic mauls XD
