I've been taking pictures of loads of of monsters while slaying, and will post some. How exactly do I "tipify" them? It looks like they're cropped and have a 1px black border added. Also, would you rather have a transparent or white background? Finally, what gimp setting do you prefer for the stroke? Do you want antialias on/off?

Laptop repair is usually a no-no, so I wouldn't recommend ever doing that unless it's just one modular part that you can replace. It looks like screen damage, but if it was, it wouldn't show up on a screenshot. :-k All I found was the thread in your screenie :wall:

Yes, it's fixed. Even during the crash code, all you had to do was turn off chat and you'd be good.

A good melee setup is: -Glory - 50kish -Legends cape -Black mask - 600kish -Cheapest barrows body and legs - 500-600k togeth -Dragon boots - 250k -Whip - 1.4m -Rune defender -Best RFD gloves -Ring of Wealth Should be under 3M.

Quite possibly. I just googled that program and found a few other college students who were having lag problems with it.

I am on the network of my university and have no access to a router. ----- Ping results: Request timed out. Request timed out. Request timed out. Request timed out. sent 4, recieved 0, lost 4 (100% loss) Those are the results I always get, even though I never lag. Even though the url doesn't change with the world, I believe that you can still ping individual worlds. I forget the exact format, but when you load the client page, it will say in you browser "connecting to.." and it gives a specific world. Look at that, and replace that world with your homeworld and try to ping it. Otherwise, do you have any antivirus programs, and which ones? Some are terrrible bandwidth hogs. Whenever I have connection problems, I just disconnect and reconnect to the network... you could always try that.

I have a pretty low range level (60) and want to train it to at least 70, or maybe 80. I was planning on training at yaks, and here's my setup: -Archer's helm -Glory -Red dhide chest -Red dhide vambs -Bronze knives -Ava's Accumulator -Granite/Rune shield (Do I need a granite shield?) -Red dhide chaps -Snakeskin boots How many bronze knives will I need to get to 75 Range? Should I change anything with my setup?

Aviansies would be nice at your level. You have pretty good defense, and could stay there a while :) . Clue scrolls are definitely good too.

Bring a Fremmenik round shield if you need to run past trolls, because it lowers their max hit to 2. You can drop it once you get past, because most people tele out.

I didn't earn any xp, gp, or qp, so the rollback won't affect me :P This is a serious issue though, and may require a rollback. The effects are amazing, and 1 person can empty the GE of all people who still have public chat on in one character. I logged on today in the GE with public on friends only, and saw the entire thing emptied by some guy who will hopefully get perm-banned. [hide=This Will Never Happen]The other, better way (in customer service, definitely not time or money) is to copy all character data, roll that back on separate servers, and open a special forum to all players, and people can post if they lost anything, and they can check the character data before and after the rollback on the copied data server.[/hide]
