  1. Yeah, the whole market depends on people's stupidity with rares and the wilderness... I support. Though if it stacks with normal protect item, maybe not... We don't want too many items being held, then would could get 2 itemers! *gasp* Oh wait, it's not a new prayer, just an addition to the old one... Maybe make it a seperate prayer, so it requires a higher prayer level, as it's better. Of course, it still shouldn't stack with the normal one.
  2. Here are two spells I've thought up to give magic a little more combat use. Magnetism: Requires level 80 magic: uses 5 earth, 1 cosmic, and 1 law If successful, the opponent cannot remove any metal based head, chest, or legs item for 20 seconds. Static Cling: Requires level 85 magic: uses 5 wind, 1 cosmic, and 1 law If successful, the opponent cannot remove and cloth/leather based head, chest, or legs item for 20 seconds. Available in the normal spellbook. This would temporarily prevent meleers to simply switch to dragonhide/Karils for a short period of time, so you can take advantage of their magic weakness. Static cling would then prevent them from changing back, in case you want to melee them. After one is successfully used, they have a much higher chance of resisting the effects. Hope you like my ideas.
  3. I never said you had to... Where did that come from? Were you even reading? I don't think he was, trying to boost his post count by posting random things ftl? Yeah, I hate when people do that. [/slighthypocrisy]
  4. I never said you had to... Where did that come from? Were you even reading?
  5. But why on Runescape do they care about the Grand Exchange price? With the junk trading black market (spooky woowoooo), people can mess with prices all they want. Sure, the junk isn't free, but if you're planning on selling, you better be prepared, or just wait for the GE price to go up. The GE price is going up very very fast, so its only a matter of time.
  6. Green dragons in the Chaos Tunnels? It's like 400k+ an hour, last time I checked. Come on, you've got to pick something. You can't just get 60m easy, it's going to be hard. So get with it, and choose one. P.S. Chaos Tunnels green dragons were barely crowded if at all the times I went.
  7. (it wasn't that bad of an arguement, btw.) People are complaining about this being overpowered because of it's price. If it was 30M+ trade price, no one would complain. It's because it's cheap. It's not all that accurate, but for the damage it can do it's a VERY dangerous weapon. I know if I was in Bount Hunter or some other place and had just pk'd something nice, I certainly wouldn't want to bump into someone with claws. That isn't how it works. If you want me to, I could upload a load of pics I have of the spec. Some of the hits are random, I'll agree with that. But others, follow the pattern that was posted previously. 100%-50%-25%-25% . Most of my pictures follow that pattern, although a small few of the numbers have been rounded off. By trade price, what do you mean? If you mean Grand Exchange, then yes, they're too low. However, no one sells on the GE unless they're dumb enough to use coinshare. If you mean market world-2esque junk trading black market kinda thing, I swore I saw people buying for more than 30mil. I also hear that dragon claws are twice as rare as an Armadyl hilt, and it requires all quests beaten (in the future, most of them). However, I'm sure that people have more trouble fighting Kree'ara than Tormented Demons... If you want to call something overpowered for its price, look at the dragon dagger. Going by your rules, it should have been "nerfed" years ago.
  8. Dip s*** preteens is why I haven't been able to get to school in years. First, it started out with OCD, but after my idiot half-friend-hal-enemy found out, he started to think I was a [developmentally delayed]. He and his friends get together and go on Runescape just to insult me, it's really pathetic. I just ignore them now, but I don't even want to think about what those kind of people would be like in real life. I've heard rumors about me going around, so I'd be infamous if I went to the "normal school", so I'm not even going to bother with that. I'm going to a different school now (or at least trying to), but I still don't know how many [wagon] I'm going to run into. I have bad luck in everyone, especially with the people I meet. On the internet, it's really nothing. They don't know you, you don't know them, so they have no reason to say anything to you. If someone walked up to me in real life and started insulting me, I'd instantly aim for the groin. Too bad the internet hasn't evolved to that era yet, so just ignore those jerks. They're just trying to impress their friends by insulting someone online because they don't have the balls to do it in real life. Yet again, if they did, they'd lose theirs instantly if they were talking to me. Don't bother with them, walk away. They'll eventually give up, and figure that their whole "argument" is nothing more than pointless hate and false sense of superiority.
  9. Hmmm, could the 150th quest be so big, it replaces a skill? Maybe, like others said before, it could unlock a skill! I think we should be looking forward to that... but when is it? Who knows? Only the Jagex Mods...
  10. You know what type of spell I'd kill for? Magnetize and static. Magnetize would make the target's metal based armor be stuck on them for a certain time period (15-20 seconds I guess). Static would make their leather, hide, or cloth armor stuck to them for a certain time period. This way, if mage gets the jump on a meleer, they won't be able to simply switch to Karil's or something right away. The mage would be able to take advantage of their weakness to magic, temporarily pushing back melee's tip in the combat triangle. Static would work the same way, but be more useful for a meleer or ranger mixed with magic to cast it. Magic is the one set back the most if someone switches armor, so it should make sense that they can prevent that for a bit.
  11. There's no real discussion value here, is there? What would we discuss? If someone level 85 beat it, they'd probably post their own topic. Unless you were thinking of making this thread their trophy case, but I doubt that'd work. So tell me, what would we discuss in this thread?
  12. If the dragon claws are overpowered, the Armadyl Godsword is overpowered. It's more accurate, and is a better weapons besides the special. I still don't know if dragon claws have a better special attack, but if they're overpowered, AGS is too. However dragon claws only require 60 attack, but no one cares about attack requirements anymore (or at least they shouldn't). As long as it's over a certain point, it means there won't be pures made just for it. But seriously, I don't think there will be "dragon claw" pures. If there are, with 60 attack only, I'm not worried, they'll be quite innacurate. That's the big downside to the dragon claws. They're innacurate. However, I think they still hit as much damage if you only hit 3/4 times as 4/4 (I think the bunch the hits together like 0%-100%-50%-50% from what I saw). If you miss twice, the damage is reduced, I think, so its low accuracy is its weakness. However, we don't exactly know the pattern yet... One way or another, they have low accuracy compared to the AGS, so they won't be overpowered unless you classify AGS the same.
  13. Melee can beat range and range can beat melee. Melee can beat mage but mage can only beat melee. lolwat? So anyway, mage beats melee, melee beats range, range beats mage. What's the point? You already admited mage can beat melee, so what are you arguing for\against? A slow hitter is bad for a battle starter. And mage already maxes 50+ without spec; not that anyone sticks to 'pure' combat classes nowdays. How can mage hit 50+...? And what I was trying to say with the first quote is that melee and range can bend the combat triangle. They can potentially beat any side of the triangle. Mages, can only kill rangers alone. Of course, they could just slap on armor and a scimitar, but if we said that, it would never end with all the switching. When using only one type of combat, melee and range can beat any of the triangle. However, mage only beats melee, and I suppose itself.
  14. Yes, I totally support! After trying to cram all my junk into one inventory to price check, I know I'd want this feature! I had to take like 4 price checks, add them all together, and I still couldn't check my whole bank. I'd need dozens of painstaking price checks, and add them all up. I need this feature!
  15. Now let's think... Summoning and prayer do not get lowered automatically when they are above max. Why? Because they do not gradually restore to max. Wether you like it or not, all skills besides summoning and prayer always want to go to their true level. Unless, you want hp to not restore at all, so you can run around with higher leveled hp for a little longer? In short, if hp were to stay boosted, it wouldn't be able to automatically regenerate. It's just how the programming works.
  16. You don't know the first thing about plant fashion! Everyone knows black goes with everything, especially plants!
  17. If that's what he says, that's probably an excuse. Why would he be talking about RSC prices?
  18. Are you kidding me? How on earth are you going to report someone for bug abuse? Make them admit they're abusing a bug, and explain it in fine detail? Not gonna happen... As for the glitch, I think I saw someone doing that before... I only saw them for a second or two. Before I knew what was going on, they seemed to fly away.
  19. Enough with the babying. Jagex started babying their new players not too long ago, with warnings absolutely everywhere. If you wanted to go in a dark cavern, it would warn you instantly. If there was a potentially strong monster ahead, another warning. It takes the feeling of exploration out for new players. It used to be trial and error, where everyone had to figure out for themselves. If they wanted to be sure what they're doing is safe, they can use the Knowledge Base or a fansite. But now, you can't explore, and figure things out for yourself, you're completely babied with every potentially dangerous move you make. There are only two times where Jagex left it to the player to figure it out. First, the Summer quests. They didn't put anything about them in the Knowledge base. The spirit realm was unknown, and the Corporeal Beast was left mysterious. Sure, there was a warning before entering his room, but he can kill you almost instantly after all. Jagex left it to the players to figure it out, not giving away all its weaknesses, and the locations of the spirit portals on the Knowledge Base. The second exception is pretty much all of While Guthix Sleeps. There are almost no warning when things are about to get dangerous. Movario's base was the perfect example of how Jagex is slowly moving away from babying players. In his base, everything you do could lead to a trap. You're stuck there until you complete the puzzle, no teleporting or going back. Personally, I was surprised, and very happy when I figured out I was stuck, as it's a step in the right direction. This shows Jagex is in control, and if you wanted to go back to mine some essence, TOO BAD, you've got to wait. The new quest was ruthless, to be expected of a Grandmaster quest, and I expect to see more ruthlessness in the future. After the quest, if you go back to the temple, without warning, several level 454 demons could flat out kill you. Sure, maybe not fair to new players, but new players can't get there. By the time you've completed While Guthix Sleeps, you should be prepared for the worst. Jagex also never said anything about the Tormented Demons, or anything about the quest, in the Knowledge Base. You're left to find their weaknesses yourself. Another step in the right direction. Now, if there are tutorials for everything, that's taking ten steps backwards. Stop babying the new players, why can't they figure things out for themselves? By the time you even think of going to the Godwars Dungeon, you're more than capable of doing something without a tutorial. If I had a tutorial wherever I go, I'd feel terrible, as I'd be treated as a dumb kid, incapable of doing anything on his own. I say that there should be NO tutorials any more, except minigames, of course. That would be treating us like a bunch of idiots, I do not support.
  20. No, it would only be able to control time...
  21. The only thing I'd say the non members really need are skillcapes. Come on, they work so hard on 99 skills, which are even harder in f2p, why can't they show it off? I'm a member, by the way, but still, they deserve skillcapes.
  22. People attack me in PvP worlds even if I have no items. Sometimes I just want to be somewhere for whatever reason, but people kill me even if I have nothing! I do some damage to them, I waste their food, they get nothing, and their drop rate decreases... Real smart, guys. Just leave me alone!
  23. I think that's just a rumor. It couldn't possibly be true... Could it, COULD IT?!
