  1. Why are you asking for a Katagon (Tier 8) anyway? Your signature says you have 80 attack, which is enough for the next tier up.
  2. if you are 100+ dg anyway i'm under the impression that a better third bind would be a 2h in addition to hexhunter You'd be correct; I've seen several people (including Grimy) use a Melee weapon and Hexhunter in conjuction with each other. It works quite well, especially dealing with those annoying, de-hooding mages. Although I personally think a Saggitarian body would be better than a plate as your third/fourth, regardless of whether you have the Hexhunter or not.
  3. Before the Occult floors came out, the generally accepted method was to c1 1-25 and do 26-35 as 5:5 larges.
  4. Sounds good. Could we pick a non 130+ Ping for our (first) homeworld? All of the people who have founded worlds have so far been European (yes, 117 was once a structured world, not a whirling vortex of chaos and incompetence.)
  5. most ppl I know use skype :P all TIFFER dgers i know use skype. so probably that even though I can't say for sure. I'm more of a Ventrilo person myself, but whatever.
  6. I wouldn't create too much structure in the clan. Just keep it simple and reasonable. Has the Vent/Skype channel been established?
  7. As the hitpoints on most relevant monsters are considerably larger than the maximum hits of either weapon, the difference in overkill effect between the two are neligible.

    Shadow Silk Hood

I've alched three hoods since I've found mine, all in dungeons with other people that had their own hood. I think I spent the money on Rune Essence for Cosmic Runes. In seriousness, keep trying, you'll eventually come across one.
  9. Blasphemy! You dare question the greatness of the C1? *ahem* I believe someone dervived a general formula for exp per floor at one point. I could model an effiency equation if I could get my hands on it.
  10. Hmmm, so 4-5 scrolls would be a 40% defense reduction, a little more than the Statius Warhammer. Not too bad. I wonder if that means the flesh spoiler is simply resistant to ragers, since we haven't had too much success in that. Perhaps they reduce levels by some function of the amount of damage dealt by the attack. A good test for this would be Runebound (when he's not glitched) or Nightgazer. Use the scrolls while they're resistant, and see if they have any effect.
  11. That and finding natural ore below tier 8 on high level dungeons. I'd certainly try out the viability of the lower tiered bloodragers (less competition for blue charms too!), but you don't see too many argonite rocks in high level dungeons. Hmmm, there's a thought. Do to the Tier 1 and lower scrolls have the same reduction as the Tier 10? I highly doubt it, but it's certainly worth trying out.
  12. From my experience, monsters take a second to become agressive and attack, even when in agression range, and it's pretty doubtful that all monsters within a room will be within agression range when you enter. Furthermore, taking off your hood assures that any rooms you enter immediately afterwards, including hood-safe gatestone spots, will be tackled with the protection of the hood. It's not useful running past a solitary room, but when several dangerous rooms follow, it can be potentially lifesaving. Hmmm, on the Bloodrager, is the defense debuff guarenteed/fixed, or does it vary with the hit? Wha... what? Man, you kids are spoiled rotten. Back in my day, we only had to floor 35, and we only got 50k experience a dungeon. And we had no "Group Gatestones" or any building spots; oh no, we had to find those altars in the dungeons, and if you didn't have it gated, tough, you had to walk all the way! Kids these days don't appreciate their elders- *grumble grumble* In all seriousness, that quote just reminded me how long I had been away from dungeoneering.
  13. I agree. I feel like we don't really use them. But I never really minded because someone else always ended up mining (seeing as I can't) or making the pouch(es) I also think having one person with souls + waters + earths is well worth it. The curse gives -10% defense and only costs 3 inventory spaces (+ getting lucky with soul / water / earth rune drops) I was meaning to ask you about Summons in your video. I've almost never seen combat familiars used, and my own tests with Tier 7 variants were.... dissapointing (alright, I know they're Tier 7, but I'll be damned if a Magic-Based summon can't hit a forgotten warrior.). Ignoring, for the moment, the time producing the pouches, how powerful are tier 10 Bloodragers against the various dungoneering monsters?
  14. Ha, just noticed this. I can make a video of me not keying if that's something anyone would like to see. Ill probably be doing this too. I actually thought that every member in the party would be recording for multiple views. I also thought that there would be commentary, though it wasn't really neccesary in that particular dungeon.
  15. our perm team is preparing to do this atm. Anyway to the tif staff, i'd still like a reply about if anyone wants to collab with me on a perm team matching project. Oh really? Awesome! I can't wait to see it.
  16. Uh, so is anyone still willing to follow through with the multi-screen commentary? I'd be happy to film a few dungeons with a prospective commentator.
  17. Well, if by some miracle you run across a Hexhunter bow, then Range is definitiely better than Mage and argubably as good or better than Melee. Otherwise, the order stays the same.
  18. It amazes me how well Jagex manages to hide such simple, yet beneficial, updates. So, is Magic now a potential DPS class next to Melee? Fire Surge can hit 340 with the Celestrial Staff at spear speed, not even including the benefits of the ring bonuses or the Magic Box. From what I've witnessed, Magic hits just as accurately on average monsters, if not more accurately than Melee. And the accuracy boost only increases with additional binds, with each piece the Celestrial Clothing providing more Magic accuracy. The exact DPS would have to be tested, but I'm pretty certain it will be significantly higher.
  19. I think you're just having a bad afternoon. :P
  20. I think Black Knives would work better for the sword. Or you could use a black defender.
  21. Oh? Do you actually LIKE this update? It brought absolutely nothing to the game except 12 more floors which basically just have different graphics. Honestly, I'm not sure if you're trolling or serious...
  22. They also had three additional images on their Orkut page.
  23. I do like the ideas, but I'm not too fond of the the new damage splats. Hopefully they'll be refined.
  24. Wait, you're 88 dungeoneering. How do you have all three chaotic weapons?
