It would be really easy to make smithing useful. make a smithing requirement on a Boss door. lvl 90+ smithing needed to enter. Similar to dunging. Or make it a gradient. The higher smithing doors open up to better bosses. Combine it with slayer, agility or whatever, and good overall stats will be suddenly seen as good, instead of the regular requirement of: ovls, yak, rapier, turmoil. Lots of low-level smithers, but otherwise maxed players will complain, but what else is new.

Or there is a bug and they give 10x the normal experience.

He is only 50 dung. It will take many hours to get a rapier. Did anyone ever did calculations at what melee levels you actually save time till maxing melee? Because I assume the rapier has max efficiency at higher combat levels than lower. I say this because I have been slaying next to lower level combat persons (below 130) with a rapier and they didn't really seem to go fast at all with a rapier. Maybe they would have been slower with a whip, but how much slower? I would actually like to know if there have been any realistic calculations on how much a rapier will save you time on the path to maxed melee. Which would incorporate the time you need to get the rapier in the first place.

Before I had juju potions I always did limps on herb runs. I never watered. I always used supercompost.

You can boost the hunter requirement though. I already started hunting draconic jadinkos (requirement 80) at 78 by just using hunter potions.

He could still bank. I always did that when doing aberrant specters. leave the cannon in place. Go to bank. tele + run back. So you lose a minute or 2 per inventory. Not a big deal. The point is merely that there doesn't need to be a loss. Clearly there is nowadays enough money on the floor to make black dragons a profitable task.

So the smiley means profit? Since I was there for a bit over half an hour and I got 345k profit. With a cannon, banking with yak.

If you really want to do herblore habitat I would get your hunter up a bit first. Best experience is with draconic jadinkos, which can be hunted at 80. There are other good ones also below that, but with 70 hunter you can only do common jadinkos.

I guess this exp weekend is going to be different. Prices probably already hit the roof. Because of free trade. The GE price hasn't caught up yet, but the actual prices you can buy stuff for right now might well be indicators for the prices till exp weekend starts.

Only if you can spare the cash. Otherwise go for verac skirt + bandos chest. And actually I sold my bandos tassets a long time ago and replaced them with verac skirt. I can't remember what skill I leveled when I sold them. And I liked verac skirt better. It's not like I cannot afford to buy bandos tassets again, but they seem a bit pointless. A lot more speed can be gained by slaying with attention and with intelligence. V skirt is just also a lot more versatile. Actually since I already have 15M+ slay exp I am not looking necessarily for speed any more. I look for fun, speed and profit. Not necessarily in that order. I still don't quite get the notion of standard power slaying though. Standard demands are nowadays; ovls, turmoil, rapier and a yak. You probably can get 95 slayer in the time it takes to get all those.

I tested the urns a bit with a yak and pre-bought soft clay. I filled yak + inventory with soft clay. teled to crafting guild. Experience was slow. Probably because pottery wheel and furnace are not really fast. I don't have the figures, but I gave up on it quite soonish.

I'm quite sure that there was law running before the abyss. By means of running to port sarim port and then going to entrania. I recall it so because I tried to be a runner once. There was a constant stream of people running from draynor to port sarim.

Once again, I am too unprepared and too late with buying supplies.

Use a bob. Preferably a Yak. Smith x amount, not all. Take out of BOB. and voila...continuous smithing..doubling your inventory space.

I hate the coffin guy. I just talk to him twice to get it over with. And I hate it when you are on a farm run with juju potion and you get a random. I hate it that randoms are present to stop bots, but they don't. I don't mind fast randoms. They give me 950 prayer experience.

Wow you can bank stuff with yak? :o I don't know if you seriously thought I didn't know about that or you are just trying to get me go on a kitten killingspree? I am 96 slayer and I don't have a yak, and I am a standard player. I think a lot most 85+ level slayers don't have a yak. If you're 85+ slayer and don't have a yak, you did something wrong. Just sayin' Not necessarily. I did a large chunk of my slaying before summoning was even out. I didn't even manage 92 summoning with 99 slayer, let alone 96 or 99. I actually had to do waterfiends + wolpertinger/titan separately and slay an extra 2M exp just to get to 96 summoning.

last warp tort task was 400k+ profit. (banked with yak though) Don't skip what everybody says are unprofitable or stupid tasks. Test everything out yourself.

I think you are correct in that assessment. I had 15M slayer exp before I had a yak.

they seem to sell for 500 gp. I was a bit surprised when I saw the GE price of 5k+, but I had to go quite low to sell them. never mind me for being an idiot.

That's why you just keep it in your inventory when you are on a slayer task. And if you run out of space you can always just drop it because it is worth nothing (one gold bar).

You could also do dusties in the chaos tunnels I guess. Although I would prefer greater or black demons. But to be honest I would just grind slayer. You will build up a nice collection of charms automatically this way.
