  1. snaps are selling well at the moment. Above mid.
  2. I started dungeoneering yesterday because I feel the proper game is currently broken. Might as well play the "skill minigame" instead. Just doing solos at med because can't find any decent teams for my noob level.
  3. High risk, as in you can buy the seed at normal price, but are the products unsellable? I stopped farming for a while to be honest to see how the market stabilizes. I stopped doing many things. Stupidest update since...well...ever.
  4. Currently (yesterday) I had the problem that iron titan wasn't attacking properly in multi areas. That was both in the chaos tunnels and the thzaar area. A wolpertinger attacked just fine. Anyone else having this problem with iron titans?
  5. My snaps aren't selling at the moment. I'm not sure any high risk herb farming is good at the moment.
  6. Player behaviour is the real problem: 1. players buying RWT gold. 2. players using bots themselves to increase levels. Hey you there! Yes you! Stop doing the above!
  7. Maybe you forgot to add supercompost. And you forgot that you didn't. I do that sometimes. Or not equip the magic secateurs.
  8. Actually in the example I gave I included the patches that died. the effect of dead patches is countered by the scroll of life. You can't farm torstols without supercompost, magic secateurs, scroll of life, and juju farming pots and make profit. But with all of the above you do make a profit.
  9. I did. And sometimes I still do. I have 14+M slayer exp. But somehow it has lost the special feeling.
  10. I decided to become a slayer because 99 seemed to be an impossible goal. Unfortunately I reached this goal after a few years. Slayer was introduced in 2005. And that is when I started. It actually took me 5 years In hindsight I am a bit regretful about rushing slayer at some times. That said. I never used piety to go through tasks. Just flashed. I did it all very old school. Only started using a cannon past level 95. And actually regret using a cannon. Take your time. Do it your way. Once you get 99 it is over.
  11. I do the fishing guild. But it doesn't really give enough time for me to do all 7 or 6. But then again, it doesn't matter. It's not like I don't have a big stash of juju potions. I probably won't be able to use them all in my runescape career. especially since I am still planning to raise hunter with hunting jadinkos.
  12. you can only use ardy 3 cape once a day. So that is not really practical. So i usually just stick to 5 patches.
  13. I did two batches of torstol this week of 20 seeds each. One (20 torstol seeds) gave a profit of 1.5M The other (another 20 torstol seeds) a profit of 300k. Sometimes it all works against you. It happens. But in the long run you should have a profit.
  14. Baron sharks aren't.
  15. Baron shark is painful. They catch just as slow as real sharks. On the other hand it makes fishing sharks more interesting, that is, if you are interested in fishing sharks to start with. The monotony of not catching anything is once in a while interrupted by catching a baron shark. The fishing pot can't really rescue shark fishing completely because it is still too slow to be competitive with other fishing methods.
  16. or draconic.
  17. Nope. That would be a waste of time. See above post: You just take your losses and in the long run you profit. Or even in the short'ish run.
  18. I tank them: verac skirt, bandos chest. + elemental shield. I use a BOB for storing wyvern bones. Before I had turmoil I would leech defense and use SS for healing + some cheap food I took along. 99 def.
  19. Last batch of 20 torstol seeds (bought at appr. 6M) gave a return of 7.5M.
  20. If you are looking for cash, don't go for experience. Although sometimes they go hand in hand. Grimy's spreadsheets show which might be the best for you. https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AhdHFDsdlxujdHZ5WDZDRGo3cU5CeDV4SUE1U2hBLXc&hl=en#gid=0 I never bother with checking for diseased herbs. Waste of time. Scroll of life and Juju potions dramatically increase yield and profit. And don't forget magic secateurs. And you have to do the my arm quest! You get an extra herb patch that doesn't disease. What to do in between farming runs? I usually log out and do real life stuff. A herb run can be done in less than 5 minutes: exactly the time one juju dose lasts. Start in trollheim. Sip juju. harvest. Supercompost, plant seed, tele next patch The order of the next patches doesn't matter much. ecto/ardougne/cabbage patch/chatherby. I usually end in catherby because there is a bank there. Use supercompost!
  21. same as penguins I think. Wednesday if I am not mistaken.
  22. I actually did 70-80 at jadinkos. It goes ok without the wichdoctor gear as long as you remove the scent of the traps! So use torches or scentless potion. Needless to say it is better with whichdoctor gear. But I never did the pool thing. I only used hunter potions, which only raises the level with 3.

I think the torstol market is a bit fragile right now. Seeds are quite high priced at the moment, while torstol herbs are going for a lowish price. I stopped farming torstols for a while.
  24. Best was 69 torstol with 5 patches, of which one was dead!
  25. When I get bored I stop playing for a few months. And usually I start again with some new goal. Makes it all fresher again.
