I just did 4-5 hunter levels on common jadinkos. (70-75ish) That gave me about 120 juju farming pots. So I grinded for a bit. Make scentless pots as soon as you can. They are really needed. Or use a torch.

I had 4 lousy runs of torstol now. Still 1.3M profit for the 4 runs in total. It included one run with only 28 herbs. But in the long run the profits are slightly better I think. Not bad for 4 x 5 minutes = 20 min work.

I have 95 herblore, but I never use overloads. Maybe if you are into bosshunting or something they would be useful.

juju pot is worth it for all herbs.

I did just sharks from 84 to 93. So you burn a bit more, but it is still one of the cheapest skills to level and sharks are a lot faster than monks. You can easily make up for the loss in gp by doing something more productive in the time you won.

I think that you were a bit unlucky. I did 4 hunter levels with jadinkos and I got 100+ farming pots out of it. That includes some ugunes dying because I never paid for protection.

What I still don't understand are the people who stand around the GE stating that they are buying something on the GE: Spamming the same message for who knows how long. It's not as if any item put in the GE because of their advertising will actually go to them. I think the GE also resulted in another form of laziness. People don't go to general stores any more to buy regular items. You will see someone standing for half an hour around the GE asking for a general item. Nobody is selling. They could just have tele'd to the relevant general store, bought it, and be back for tea within 3 minutes, instead of standing around the GE like an noob. I mostly like the GE. Makes buying and selling easy.

You can semi-tank dark beasts. Use good armor. Healing familiar. Some prayer pots for backup. If they healing familiar can't keep up, slap on protect prayer for a while. Rinse and repeat.

Slayer is a lot easier now then it used to be. Not only do you have better non-slayer specific equipment available in general, you summoning, slayer points, slayer helmet. And let's not start about summoning. People don't believe it when you say that you got to 80 slayer without guthans, just using food and bones to peaches. But there were no tabs back then, so you had to earn b2p. Guthans was actually unaffordable to me till I went past 80 slayer. I think it was 12M a set. That was a lot of GP back then. I liked slayer because it seemed like an impossible goal to get to 99 slayer. But things started to speed up along the way. Summoning. Extreme pots. SGS. Slayer helmet. etc. And I reached my impossible goal. I think most skills have gotten a lot faster.

Last patch of torstol gave 8 torstols: which equals loss. I'm not sure torstols are that big money makers at the moment. Even with Juju. ------- edit: actually according to grimy's efficiency spreadsheet you should make a profit.

you can also alch the fish you get with barbarian fishing. A loss of course needs to be incorporated doing this. But you also gain magic experience.

I was just recently doing them in my basic setup + mind shield. (whip, fury, bandos torso, verac skirt, warrior ring, d boots, barrow gloves + mind shield). I just took a terror bird pouch, an extreme set, 3 prayer pots, and filled up on monk fish. (and a slayer ring for teleporting to the fairy ring + house teletab to tele out) When I arrived I summoned the terror bird for storage and timer. About 30 crimsons and 30+ kills (not sure how many to be honest -> terror bird + most of inventory filled with bones) in less than half an hour. Half an hour is about my attention span nowadays for combat, so it suited me fine. Went a few times. Got a clue scroll and an effigy. I used soul split for extra healing and had leech defense on all the time. They hit regularly, but not that hard.

Buying battle staves is probably the only thing I remember to do daily. And I usually try to buy unfinished broads in Shilo, which also means I buy feathers there. MTK I do, but not daily. I check it whenever I feel like it. Herbs I do regularly, but I wouldn't count that as a daily, since it is just skilling.

I have given up on combat. I just don't care about boss hunting, and there isn't much else to do with combat after 99 slayer. Don't say i should do dunging, because I also have 60 dunging and stopped after reaching 60, due to the insight that this is not a skill I want to level more.

What's the alternative? Let them sit in the bank??? Several thousands of extreme pots sitting in the bank because they were expensive to make? You have it all wrong. Once they are made they have no internal value anymore. I use extreme pots for everything. Since they are worth exactly nothing. They are the cheapest level boosts there are for me, since I can't sell them and I have a supply that will last me a lifetime no matter what I do. You should see me use recover specials. You might think it bothers me to drink them every 30 seconds. How much money is that down the drain? Absolutely nothing. I already made them. Can't sell them. Can just as well use them.

It's cheap. It's big. It's browserbased. It has a nostalgic feel to it.

oh, forgot about the summoning nerf. I had already been buying some summoning supplies. ah well, guess I will just do my normal activities then. Farming runs and superheating gold.

It should be announced at least a year in advance. So people can plan for it instead of having a rush on resources. As in bonus weekend is the same weekend every year. So you can work towards it for a whole year if you feel like it. And if you don't feel like doing this, at least the GE will be functional for longer.

grrr...they should just do this on the same date every year so everybody knows it is coming way in advance. Now i can't buy my regular supplies any more. I just tried. Very frustrating. And I am going to be away that weekend.

The probability that you roll dice in this exact sequence: 1-3-2-5-6-1-4-5 is the same as rolling the following sequence: 6-6-6-6-6-6-6-6 Although in human perception the first sequence is seen as nothing special, but the second sequence as almost impossible. Both exact sequences are equally impossible though. I got to 99 slayer and past without a visage or a shield half. The probability of the wheel hitting the option of a visage is low. Very very low.
