  1. ^ And I thought he was insane for doing RC for that long... you're moving some fast xp there :S I've done about 150k RC xp over about 4k ess so far in 2hr 30. I'm 28% of my way to 77 though - I'm not sure that I'll get it all done before I reach 1.1 but I'll just keep going after that. I'm determined to be able to mage in DG again ;)
  2. I went for Alright since although I enjoy the double xp, I hate the pressure to TRAIN TRAIN TRAIN. I only did an hour or two last weekend because I couldn't stand the pressure. Also the economy gets [bleep]ed up - I don't like that either -.-

I just bought myself a small mouse. Since I work on a laptop, I've been using the track pad for ages but I got tired of my fingers being shredded up after training RC yesterday on double xp weekend so I got myself a laptop mouse. It's still a bit hard to get used to, but it should be better :P
  4. Nope - also most other xp boosting methods like SC tools don't work either.
  5. 0/10 - Who is this Toad person? O_o You certainly resemble a person I know called Smellysocks... he would get 10/10 - but I've never seen you before :P
  6. It's not really, since after 10 hours the 1.1x is pretty much zilch.
  7. I do hope you knew that Den  Having to wait for a bit since W70 (ZMI world) is lagging like a [bleep] for me. A combination of crap internet, crap laptop and busy world does not a good xp rate make.

 I sort of do kind-of-exercise once or twice a month... I don't know what I'm supposed to vote.
  9. 15% of my way from 72-77 RC - my main goal. Made 81k RC and 17k Magic xp in about an hour and 15 mins. I keep having to break, though, because of my low attention span at grinding and my obsessive need to check the forums and make posts like this :P
  10. Ridiculous - pushing those who have a life I tell you. Resetting the timer... I know it's only a minor thing, in the scope of everything, but I'm still annoyed. I was out shopping and having a life <_<
  11. I'm really hoping to get at least 72 - 77 RC over the next few days, hopefully more. If I do then I'm going to consider going back to maging in Dungeoneering. I loved maging but got fed up running out of blood runes in the middle of a large dungeon. I'm stood waiting at the ZMI with everything sorted :)
  12. There was no mention of revealing shirts, just large boobs - which the girl may or may not want you to stare at.
  13. I have to say no, don't stare all you like <_< It is only natural but that doesn't mean its not rude if you're doing it all the time.
  14. ^ This is me for the time being, I did change to some made setup but I didn't really like it that much - I do like the practitioner's smock though so I may change. I also changed my hair for this - from blue :P I could spend hours deliberating what to wear and I tried changing only to come right back to this.
  15. I have to say the rewards look much better now. I'm also more enthused to hear that they're changing the rewards a bit so you don't always have to wear the armour - that's really great. I'm actually looking forward to the diary update now.
  16. I bank at Lunar Isle. Also if you're going with a full bank (keeping your tele runes on you of course) then take a terrorbird and scrolls for run energy - it will save you a LOT of time sitting down. Usually when you bank you regain about enough run, but when you're doing the quick 'deposit all' banking with a full bank it's much quicker.
  17. Why do people always have to drag it down to detailed numbered and extreme efficiency things? I bought a bonecrusher because: a) I like Dungeoneering, so I didn't mind getting the tokens. b) I don't like spending the little money I have on ridiculously expensive dragon bones. c) It just makes things simpler when slaying. The bonecrusher caters to laziness and sometimes it's nice to have something for the sake of it not just because it's efficient.
  18. Bleh, can't say I'm really interested in anything this month... oh well. Back to my normal activities I guess. *crawls back into her hole*
  19. Gonna Runecraft, Runecraft, Runecraft. Not because I hate the skill, but because I do like it and I have the long term goal of 99 RC... I know full well how difficult that's gonna be so every little helps :P
  20. Okay, it seems that you're not a 'computer' person so I'll give some advice. You'll be going to shops like PC world... be VERY wary of what they try to sell. I got my laptop for £600 four years ago, only now do I realise what a crock of manure it was. It didn't have the specs to run the Vista that it came with (512mb ram WTF?). Looking at current prices, for about £500 you'll want to be getting about 4Gb RAM. I'd say it's unwise to go with anything much lower. You'll want a processor at about 2-3 GHz. Hard Drive space is usually fine at about 300-400 Gb. You can ask for a webcam, but it might be best just buying a webcam and mic separately since built-in ones aren't always brilliant. You'll also find it hard to get a good graphics card on a laptop - they just tend not to exist. I'd say be wary of Intel Integrated Chipsets since they're notorious for being crap. I know, I have one. Also, if you're on a budget then a good way of saving money is to make sure you don't buy all the extras like 'get Norton discounted...' ect. There are good free Antiviruses out there that are not only better, but save you a pretty penny. I can't really recommend specific laptops, but I'm going to be getting a new one myself soon so I think these are things you need to take into consideration. Also be aware that laptops are hard to change, particularly graphics cards. You can't really update them on laptops and if you want something with good performance then you're going to want a desktop really.
  21. Do you know how to use device manager? Use that to check the name/details of your sound card then try the manufacturer's website. Drivers are usually free and don't require licences, as far as I know.
  22. Next year it's a definite. I'll have the money to go next year. I really do understand WHY they did the high ticket price, then refund, but it still feels bad for me since I got screwed out of a chance to go because I thought I couldn't afford it :(
  23. I'd say just do solo smalls or mediums as you go along, while you're still unlocking floors regularly it's not too bad to just go at your own pace. Once you've unlocked all the floors, like up to occult, you might only get 1 floor or so per-reset depending on how you go. As for xp rates, I don't really know =/
  24. Minor change in the Slayer Skill guide "This dungeon is only accessible while on task a task from Kuradal (requires 75 Slayer and 110 combat; see above)" I think you mean "This dungeon is only accessible while on a task from Kuradal..." :D [Crew edit: Thanks! This has been changed, and you've been credited (amongst the mass credits on the Slayer guide o.O) ~ Vulxai]
  25. Indeed, it might not be efficient but if you enjoy Dungeoneering then it might be something to buy with your tokens. I took mine doing falconry today and it was brilliant to use there :) People sometimes forget that it can be used with Hunter as well as combat.
