I've been doing a lot of mining recently and have come across one or two bots. I reported a player at Granite yesterday, and it's lulzy watching bots get killed in the Living Rock Caverns. I understand that reporting one bot isn't going to change the world, but I believe it's our duty as players. Some people like trying to stop the bot themselves, and if that's what they want to do then that's their choice. I've heard a lot of people saying that people who hunt bots are sad, but it's just something to do which can be enjoyed - not sad at all. It doesn't take a genius to realise what harm these bots are doing to the economy and Runescape as a whole. I'm sure everyone has gotten fed up with training at some point, wishing that they *could* just get a bot - but most people don't because they realise that it's wrong. If you bot, it's not your achievement - it's the achievement of some programmer who made the bot. Those high levels are worth nothing, if you bot.

Any Video Converter is one I've used before, it can mass convert files and it's free. It does hog resources a bit, though, if you're doing a lot of files or HQ files. It converts to and from loads of different formats :)

I'm glad people liked my article, it's definitely true that the graphics for armour are changing. In some ways, it's a bit more subtle. Others, like the new base clothes, make it very obvious. And as for Did you knows, sometimes they're a bit more 'obvious'. I hope people realise that the population of Tif is, on general, more knowledgeable about Runescape than the average player might be - we know the tips and tricks that might just seem obvious to us. Because of this, DYK's might be very good for the general player who comes to our site. It can sometimes be hard to find things that you might not know :)

Indeed, clearing out a cache is something I do regularly to clear up space on my hard drive. I can see why losing the bookmarks might be a problem, though - but Google is your friend! :)

AVG is okay, I guess. I use Avast! and that's worked fine. In combination with Spybot Search & Destroy :)

I have issues with lag on W117 a lot, but all I suggest is solo or get a group of friends together on a different world. Dungeoneering is much better with friends anyway.

The time playing the Great Orb Project can far exceed Graahking, and to do it with anything other than Law Runes is silly. I seriously recommend Graahking or, when you reach about 60, ZMI. It's not profitable at that level, it's 70 when you start to pull into profit - but it's faster xp.

Eh, I can't do any (nearly Lumbridge's hard though) and even though the rewards aren't brilliant I suppose it's something to aim to, and I wouldn't mind the xp lamps :D

Mino Tauros's skillcape emote video makes me wow every time... it's truly incredible. I've not watched them all yet, but the amount of creativity I've seen so far is just amazing! It really is :)

I like the non-combat aspect and freedom of RS. Of course, the main reason is that it's cheap - I can't afford any other MMO. Also I've been playing it through my childhood and I don't let go of my past easily. :D And it plays on my [cabbage]ty laptop and I can play through a browser wherever I am :)

It's strange really. I'm one of the least efficiency focused people there is, but even I find myself being drawn to this thread now and again. I suppose the concept of watching high-level players race for the max 200m mark is fascinating in a strange way and like Zarfot said - it's almost like a spectator sport. Of course I mean that in a genuine way, the people that go for 200m are seriously dedicated and deserve respect for trying to achieve goals that seem insurmountable. I couldn't dream of getting such incredible amounts of xp.

I burned out going from 72 - 75 RC and made it halfway through 75-76. I'm about 60% closer to my goal of 77 though, so it's not been too bad. I'm going to do a bit of mining now and generally just... anything that isn't Runecrafting :P

It's nothing to do with showing respect - it's just the fact that the best websites live on and grow. Look at search engines, Google has overtaken every other English language search engine overwhelmingly. For a very good reason, it's better than the competition. So, if you need something, you don't suddenly decide to go 'Oh, I'll use Bing or Yahoo to show respect, even though these sites are inferior.' People will go to the sites they see as the best. Of course there's nothing wrong with other sites out there - I'm just explaining.

Got another one on the new Rock Lobsters guide, under the setup section. "Thus, when given the choice between adding further magic attack bonus or adding bonuses to other stats, such as defense or prayer, it is better to choose the ladder." I've been using a full bank, terrorbird combination but I don't have a giant pouch so that must be it :D
