  1. Hearing me from a year ago is pretty funny tbh :P But we have a policy of allowing bumps & thread necromancy if it's a relevant bump. This isn't like an old update topic and we can still continue the discussion :)
  2. Dreamenddischarger - ZTS
  3. I agree it's sorta like Dungeoneering 1.75, but I wasn't expecting it yet and it's rather interesting anyway. The new Pest Control activity sounds rather interesting too, I'm looking forward to it :)
  4. I confess I haven't properly played Runescape in 2 days. I've spent the last few days on Puzzle Pirates  Mainly playing poker, and designing outfits & portraits, for hours on end. I'm paying for Runescape, but I'd much rather be playing PP right now. It's... fun...
  5. Moved this thread to Help & Advice, you'll get better responses here :)
  6. 000 Webhost doesn't do adverts :)
  7. People use Opera? O_o
  8. Time for a new release of the: >>>Tip.It Times!<<< When replying please make sure to clarify the article you are replying to! Thanks! If you spot any typos or mistakes in the article then please PM them to me :) Enjoy the articles!
  9. I would definitely recommend 000webhost as well. Great for small sites and one of the very few free hosts without ads. If you're after a file manager, which you may not need if you're just uploading a few files, then Filezilla is a good free choice imo :)
  10. They're insane. Like you're going to be able to stop students struggling for money from filesharing
  11. What was your previous RuneScape name that you are listed under on the highscores?: Lady Racheya What is your current RuneScape display name?: Racheya What Tip.it highscore list(s) are you currently added to?: P2P & Staff lists
  12. How do you know that they hadn't tested it before the Wednesday? Maybe they were testing it at the weekend, or the Monday and found the problem but were trying to get it fixed for this week. When they realised that they couldn't get it fixed, they told us it'd be postponed. Since none of us actually KNOW what happened, this guesswork is just guesswork and is rather pointless as well.
  13. Watched Wall-E yesterday ^_^
  14. Pretty sure it's legal here in the UK
  15. Confession: I'd really love to have a go at Poker online. I've played loads on the MMO Puzzle Pirates with in-game currency and even though I vaguely suck at it, I still have the urge to actually try out proper Poker. I guess because it feels a bit edgy or something, dunno. Maybe it's just because my brother just got a magic set with a pack of cards in it. Also I really want to go to a bookies and place a bet, I'm 18 so I can but still... I'd have to take my passport to be able, I know that for sure <_<
  16. I *think* it's for people going to RuneFest to get their Flagstaff of Festivities from Diango.
  17. The Route of the Problem is a really nice song. I usually just listen to whatever default comes on, but now and again I might just put my iPod on. Rarely, though.
  18. Since asking for advice on how to use the cache ect is against the Tip.It Rules, this thread will be locked. If you want to find it, you'll have to find it yourself.
  19. This point has been made over and over and over and over and over. Who reads threads anymore? You can't blame a person for not wanting to read through 7 pages of this.
  20. Why? That would drastically reduce their usefulness...
  21. What is a matter of opinion? The fact that the update will be here in a few days, or the fact that I don't like complaining for what I see as just no reason. The first isn't an opinion and the second isn't relevant either. Why is it that whenever people disagree with me, they pull up my 'history of supporting Jagex' as though that somehow makes a difference? Maybe Jagex shouldn't announce content until it's ready, it would sure save them a whole lot of earache. But, for the BTS, they had the content ready, there was just a late minute glitch. In computing, these things happen.
  22. Due to the fact that this is an internet forum, I don't think it's fair to interpret any forms of disagreement as "whining." It's kind of like calling any forms of praise "kissing ass." Are we no longer allowed to be upset by updates (or lack thereof) without being reprimanded? No, Not to be an ass, but Racheya ALWAYS sticks up for Jagex. I've never once heard her express an original view, or a view against Jagex. Please point out posts if I am wrong, and I will stand corrected. No more then MHL rarely says good things about Jagex, and people always call her out for it. *coughRockClimbingBootscough* If I have a problem with something, I don't spend my time complaining about it all the time. I go find something better to do. If I enjoy something then I'll say so. And, with the amount that people default to hating on Jagex, I'd say that actually trying to understand and see the positive aspects of things is actually quite an original view. Also lets try to not bring the thread off topic onto my opinions. I understand disagreeing with Jagex, but complaining because Jagex have postponed their update for a week isn't disagreeing - it's just complaining for the sake of complaining when the update will be here in a few days...
  23. My point is that this whining is pointless and childish. The update will be out next week. The BTS is not a promise, just a prediction of what will be out.
  24. Don't think anyone said otherwise, Mister straw man. Just think people are complaining that Jagex didn't do what they said. There is a difference between a prediction, what the BTS is, and a promise. Our final update this month starts with a rework of our old treasure trails. Looks like they said TTs were coming out, no? Granted WE CAN UNDERSTAND DELAYS. We are simply not kissing ass by being all kind and sympathetic. Jagex didn't fulfill what they, and we wanted, and what they said. They said that they were coming out, yes, but the BTS isn't a guarantee. It isn't a promise, it's a prediction. They expected it to be coming out this week, but there was a delay so it couldn't. It's not the end of the world. If you can understand that they have delays, and still decide to be awkward and whiny about things, then it's just being spoilt and childish. That's what so many people are like. "WAAAAAAHHHH I DON'T HAVE NEW SHINY THINGS TO CLIICCCCCK! JAGEX!! YOU PROMIIIIISED!" It's not like they said that they're not doing them at all. They're just being postponed a week, they're still fulfilling what they said - just a week later.
  25. Don't think anyone said otherwise, Mister straw man. Just think people are complaining that Jagex didn't do what they said. There is a difference between a prediction, what the BTS is, and a promise.
