Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
Removed the Korean posts. The rules say "We ask that if you post something in another language besides English, you must also post an English translation of it. It doesn't have to be perfect, as long as you try to get it as close as you can." So yes, remember to post a translation.

Wtf happened?
Just going to remind you guys to be polite and avoid flaming other users. Just saying, remember to have a sensible discussion on this issue, or the thread will just be locked and people be warned if need be. As for the topic at hand, bots are an ongoing fight. As long as Jagex don't give up, they haven't lost. I do believe I remember a user here saying that they might win every fight, but they'll never win the war. Which I sort of agree with.

Tip.It Times - 25th July 2010
I do hope that you guys realise that after hundreds of articles, you're BOUND to run out of new and exciting things to discuss? Also have you now? I certainly don't remember it. I look forward to seeing your article and what topic you've managed to come up with. The writing aspect of an article pales in comparison to the difficulty of getting a topic. That's the only reason that I actually WANT new updates, because it gives opportunities for articles about it, because other than that what else new is there to be said?

Pirate Bay and MegaUpload Escape Domain Seizure by US
The problem is that the US like to their they're the world police. well aren't most of these upload sites stationed in the U.S.? if they get shut down here by U.S. gov then other countries obviously wouldn't be able to use them Not really. They're not even upload sites. They're sites linking to content that tends to be hosted on servers across the world. Megavideo is a common one, but you often get other language sites being used too. If the link sites are hosted in the US then they were being a bit stupid in doing that :P

Isn't it a bit unfair though to block a country from the internet? It would only work if that country WANTED to block it'self because their own government/ISPs would have to stop it. Which would be rather stupid

The problem with any type of world government is that as of today most nations in the world are led by unelected, unaccountable and generally thuggish leaders. Such people would necessarily have influence in any potential type of world government which would invariably be negative and keep such a group from doing a good job. Take a look at the UN for one example - it's consistently mired in corruption and generally useless. Any "world government" type body would be similar. Additionally, differences between national economies mean that it is in the interest of some countries to not respect intellectual property rights. Simply put, it is far easier for China/India/(insert 3rd world nation here) to copy western technology then to buy it, or build their own. Such a fundamental conflict of interests makes international enforcement bodies unworkable. I'm not sure about how the internet works, but could you simply block an entire country from the internet? Well China does it by forcing all ISPs to go through the Great Firewall of China. But it's not particularly... good. A country *could* shut down it's internet by turning off all ISPs, and you can stop certain countries accessing a website if they're just using a normal internet connection. For example, the BBC iPlayer is only accessible to UK residents, any IP address that tries to contact it outside the UK is stopped. HOWEVER what the American Government did was basically hijack the websites for ALL countries. They didn't block just USA people, they did it for everyone. Which, if you ask me, is unfair. They shouldn't have any jurisdiction over the website if the servers aren't based in the USA.

Your perfect afterlife
I'd like to have God like abilities I guess, but a bit more specific. My first thought was just I want to be able to see my funeral and what people said about me after I died. I'd like to see that, but after that I'm not sure how much I could watch my family for. I'd like to, but I think that after a while of seeing them go on without me the fact that I can't be there anymore would get to me. I'd like to do all sorts of random [cabbage] that I couldn't do in this life, become characters in animes and books, be everything that I wanted to be. Eventually I think I'd get bored of that. There's only so many times you can control people with Geass, become a child spy, rule the world... all that... before you'd get bored. After that, I think I'd decide to create my own world. It would be fun, kinda like The Sims but on an epic scale. Of course I don't believe any of that would happen, and even if heaven and hell do exist then I'll probs end up in hell <_< Still, it would be nice to have that sort of afterlife, that sort of power.

Parents
Well my dad was a druggie and a drunk, my mum left him when I was about 2 (after almost trying to stab him) When I was about 5 my mum found herself a partner in who is now my step-dad. They never got married, but after about 13 years they're pretty much close enough. The only reason they never married was it'd be too costly. When I was 8, my mum got pregnant and had my brother who's now 10. I see my step-dad and (I guess half-step) brother as my family. I've not seen my biological dad in years and years. Maybe one day I'll want to meet him and I do wonder if he ever thinks about me, but somehow I doubt that he does. Anyway, my family isn't always the most stable of one. My dad tends to waste money and is still thinking that he can go out at night and get drunk like he used to when he was younger. He's like... mid forties now (I don't know his age lol). A few years back this became a serious problem, right up until late last year. He went to the pub almost every day after work and often lied about it even though we all knew. I think three times he tried to kill himself, or threatened to. Those were horrible times that I really don't like thinking about. But I guess I'm very hopeful right now. He hasn't done anything like that in a while now. He doesn't go to the pub, he doesn't make our lives miserable. Therefore, we can all be happier. If he's happy, then we're all happy, in a way. I'm letting myself feel optimistic that things really *have* changed. I know that the crap parents put you through will have screwed me up forever. I don't know all the different ways and it'd be stupid to try to list them. But everyone has issues, everyone. Nobody can escape their parents and for better or worse, we're stuck with them. They have provided for me though and I love them both. If I didn't love them, then I wouldn't have been upset over the arguing. I know I've spoken little about my mother, but there isn't much to say. She works, she cleans, she looks after us so much. So yeah... [/walloftext]

Pretty much my feelings too. HBP wasn't too bad in comparison but they could easily mess up Deathly Hallows >.<
