  1. There was an offer on at a closing down GAME so I got Sins of a Solar Empire, Assassins Creed and Dead Space all on PC. I tried Dead Space last night. I don't ever want to play it again  . What sort of dick game spawns a monster right on top of you when you respawn after having your face mauled off? ;(
  2. Saw Battleship last night. It was better than I expected it to be. It could have done with having a little more explanation about why the aliens were doing what they were doing and I can't really get over the fact that it's based on the Battleship game... but other than that it's a pretty cool film.
  3. Solution: I probably should have had them as a kid but it's a bit late now. Right now I'm just trying to make it that I don't have to have any taken out even though some probably will have to be at some point.
  4. We buy any car is catchy, I kinda like it. Go Compare on the other hand... I loathe. One thing that annoys the hell out of me is that my teeth are bad and that they keep becoming painful every now and again (like now). I'm going to the dentist and all but because I was stupid as a kid, never cleaning my teeth and stuff, I might never be rid of these problems <_<
  5. Yeah I used to like that. I had an awesome English teacher once who had a toaster & kettle in his room, walked around school playing his guitar and was generally a right laugh. He was also the best English teacher around.
  6. Watched Dead End at this suggestion since we've been running out of horror movies. Very tense and creepy. Didn't have me screaming much but that's probably because there weren't loads of jump scares. Session 9 - We didn't even finish this. Was supposed to be scary, was just a little bit creepy - nothing actually happened really and we got bored. 1408 - Ended up watching this after we got bored of Session 9. Good film, pretty scary, awesome actors. The Firm - Quite a long film but I didn't really feel it. It had a good story to it, though you can see where it was going at times.
  7. I guess so, it's more or less completely different characters - it's a prequel to Fate/Stay Night so there shouldn't be too much confusion. It probably helps though. I sped through F/SN when Fate/Zero started airing so that I could watch it since I was told how good it was. Zero is definitely better than F/SN though so if you're only going to watch one, watch Fate/Zero for sure.
  8. Fate/Zero is back! 12 weeks of joy! Can't say I was imagining there'd be an aerial dogfight in the show though.
  9. J or K Pop or J/K Dramas. I'm big into anime, visual novels and manga but no 3dpd for me.
  10. You have to go and 'buy membership'. Pretend you're resubscribing and say you're paying by card. I'll come up with your saved card details and there should be a link to manage your cards, you can remove it from there.
  11. I just deleted my card off my account, just in case. I also love how extremely difficult it is to remove a card like that. You're a winner Jagex, truly.
  12. Dear God Jagex. I can't believe I ever loved you ;_; Now I'm not all 'rah rah I miss the good old days'. I accept that RuneScape has changed and that if I ever go back it's going to be radically different... but I can't believe Jagex would do something like this. Well... I guess I can. It's not *that* surprising that they'd sell themselves out like this. It's just pathetic imo. I think actually buying the spins is fairly stupid as well, no way in hell would I spend money on spins. I can't blame the people buying them trying to get an advantage though. This isn't like botting or RWT or even bug abuse, Jagex put this out there and if you want to go ahead and pay for them then fill your boots.

I got my first phone when I was 12/13 I think, it was a classic Nokia 3210 with a classy see-through blue case :P My parents only got it me because I went to and from secondary school on my own and I was late because of a school council thing once and they were worried so they wanted me to be able to get in contact. I had my first console before then - a PS1 which I adored. I've never taken these things for granted, or any of the consoles, phones or Christmas presents I've got since. My little brother goes through mobile phones a little too fast for my liking, he's 12 and just got a brand new blackberry on contact. He got an older blackberry for his birthday last November. He's not ridiculously spoiled though and once he gets older I'm sure he'll appreciate things more.

I read quite a few webcomics that are more story-oriented than comedy. Hyperbole and a Half is a hilarious comic though. Love it.

That's definitely an interesting take on things. A lot of people I know have either gone to University or got a job. A few of them have kids now, though I don't think anybody is married yet. I don't really feel jealous for the ones who are because I'm really happy with how things are going at the moment. I'm living in a house with my wonderful boyfriend and I've got a placement job for a year starting in summer. It's not quite a 'real life' yet, I'm still a student and I've barely began to develop my own life but it's getting there. I can see how things might progress into a proper adult life. It's sorta weird, but also sorta cool. That is if nothing goes wrong of course :P
  16. From growing up I've always called groups of people talking slap bang in the middle of the road or corridor 'Mother's Meetings' - regardless of gender. They annoy me too. Some of the worst groups I've come across though are gaggles of secondary school kids coming back from school. The last few days I've been walking at that time and sometimes there's like 10-12 of them taking up the entire path as they walk. Not to mention some are little shits who'll say something <_<
  17. The Hunger Games: An amazing film and a great adaptation of the books. Jennifer Lawrence was wonderful and I really like how they completely dodged the 'twilight romantic bs' bullet. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
  18. The Mist: Pretty scary at times, moreso in the sense of 'this could actually happen in an apocalyptic situation'. We knew there had to be a twist ending since it was based on a Stephen King novel so when the moment dawned on us of what would be the most horrible thing that could happen right at the end, we ended up pleading with the film for us to be wrong ;_; We weren't ;_; This film also had a ridiculous amount of the cast from The Walking Dead. The people who play Dale, Andrea and Carol were in it. As were two other actors I recognised...

    It looks legit to me.

You've gotta love how bs this is: [hide] [/hide]
  21. Nice choices there. Watching Nisemono is making me want to rewatch Bakemono.
  22. I totally agree. I hate how fewer and fewer companies are advertising their websites for information and instead advertise you to Like them on Facebook. It gives people no other choice and forces them into joining or taking part in a third party - and it's not like Facebook will share all your details with these companies or anything. On a similar note it annoys me the sort of BS companies post on their pages too - I have a lot of fun reading some of these out to my friend when they pop up. Out of the pages I have 'liked' Cadburys and The Sims 3 are the worst at this. Here's a few examples from The Sims page: Like this Status if you've ever had a Simlish song stuck in your head! Like this Status if your Sim has an imaginary friend! If you were a Sim looking for a mate and you put out a personal ad, what would it be like? Oh, and just posted by Cadburys: Don't forget this week is National Bubble Week, where did you last see a bubble? People are paid to write this shit.
  23. I don't think I've watched the latest episode but I've been watching it from the start ^_^ Yuki~!

I just read that they're going to remake Tony Hawks Pro Skater - with all the classic levels and stuff. I. Can't. Wait. THPS2 was my life when I was around 10. You have NO idea how much time I spent playing that game alone, against my cousin. I wish I had a counter for how many hours I played that thing and loved it. I could say the same for Tony Hawks Underground which, along with THUG2, were the last TH games I played. I used to play those games so much, not just skating but in ways you'd call emergent gameplay I guess. We'd get off our boards and try to hide somewhere in the level, like on the ledge of a building or whatever, and angle the camera so that the other couldn't tell where we were. I had so much fun, despite the fact I can't skate irl. Just wanted to nostalge :P
  25. Why get rid of a toilet? Having multiple toilets in the house is awesome
