  1. I don't know the actual max kills/hr at dagganoth but they are probably the fastest gold charms.
  2. Also, if you are using sc tools & money is no issue & clicking is an issue, do mahogany tables. One table is the xp of 12 oak planks, and you can build 4 per inventory.
  3. Cannoning irons and steels in Ghorrock is ever so slightly faster than Kuradal's, I believe, but not enough to be worth the hassle really. Off task the difference of a cannon is quite huge.
  4. You suggested making money for cannonballs through slayer. Which is not possible. Slayer loses money, probably all they way to 90/93 slayer.
  5. Which is good advice by the way. For mining, always use a lava titan. Don't bank ores. Superheat while mining if you care to. Juju mining is definitely worth it, but you need 80 hunter (less with boost) to get draconic vines. For woodcutting, arctic pines are great especially if you split the logs. It may be worth getting an adze and doing teaks, too. Barbarian does speed up at higher levels, as does mining, woodcutting, runecrafting @ ZMI. Jadinkos are a little slow at level 70 but the seeds are rather useful to get juju pots asap. For thieving, monkey knife fighters are good right up to 99.
  6. Aside from Nex, because idk what the hell you use to kill it, and Corp, there are only bosses that will make Rapier worth getting. And those bosses also can be killed with a CLS, but that's not the point. He has all these skills that cost a lot already rather high, the only thing he's missing could be high-lvl gear which is buyable. Bossing can help with the money, but it isn't required. If he "needs" to have a chaotic for it (which is basically only Nex if anything), then he can probably avoid that boss, and use a whip everywhere else. The time spent dungeoneering is so not worth getting 10 more kills per hour. Everywhere he can use it at is low-income and quite easy. He does not need a Rapier. You use a chaotic crossbow, rapier and perhaps maul on Nex, fyi. You are replying to my post about how rapier beats cls. I guess you gave up on that point? A rapier is around 10% faster kills than a whip, much more on dragons and bosses, never less. Not only that, but it also greatly increases your ability to compete with other players at any boss. Ezkaton is a frequent bosshunter, if not for money then for fun. A chaotic rapier would benefit him in this.
  7. Strict? No. Bossy, probably. If it's not for you, ok. But you should realize that your not-enjoyment of the skill is likely caused by your inability to dg well. It usually is. And that is why I dislike DGS and Grimy Bunyip. I'm good at Dungeoneering. I can cope with W117 better than wasting 40+ minutes per floor trying to set a team up in DGS chat. At that point it is MORE EFFICIENT to use W117 for a one-hour large. And it's almost apparent that they just think they're the best, and everyone that disagrees is the worst. <- biggest reason not to set foot near these people. Insulting people that you want to come into your chat to help you find teams faster will never help you. Become leniant, less aggressive, but still educate people on what is the best and what they should do to be better. You'll have better results. You are not good at dungeoneering until you can key a 25 minute large on any floor type, in my opinion. I highly doubt you can at that total level & dungeoneering level (though you might, of course). I highly doubt you have actually spent a few hours in the chat, randomly skilling and chatting until the right floor comes along. I do not recognise your complaints at all. And I spend all of my online time in DGS.
  8. I knew you were familiar. Again, I've seen rapier fail much harder than CLS -anywhere-. Unless you have -the best- skill-boosting prayers/pots/gear, it isn't good. He does have it, but because of that it makes a bronze sword turn into a dragon scim. Just think of what he cares to do with his time and the fact that whip will be better than it normally is. Don't compare a superpowered rapier to a person only equipped with a whip. I do not know what you are talking about. All evidence points to the rapier being superior for anything that is not Graardor or Zilyana. Under certain circumstances (low defence, high offence boosts) a whip will be superior to a cls.
  9. Firstly, I skip them. So I don't have much data on how fast I can do them. Secondly, they are not worth doing at your stats or at ANY stats but least of all with a summoning level all that. I think, 30 minutes?
  10. Strict? No. Bossy, probably. If it's not for you, ok. But you should realize that your not-enjoyment of the skill is likely caused by your inability to dg well. It usually is.
  11. Ren, very simply put: you can't disagree with the important of speed. A rapier is much better than anything else at most places, and as good as everything else everywhere else.
  12. Firstly, 50 minutes is a long task. Secondly, they have low effigy rates, mediocre xp at best (dropping rapidly without a steel titan/iron titan), and mediocre charm rates.
  13. Well, assuming sgs specs, 3 pure sets, 4 brew, 4 restore, rest pray pots.
  14. Claws, no chance. Tassets not really, either. Super attacks, err maybe if everybody stopped doing MTK?
  15. It is always a good idea to use boosting prayers. For tds, you use rigour + piety or turmoil all the way if you have a steel titan.
  16. Well if you are good, you can attack once for every attack by the 360, and they attack at whip speed. With a godsword you would lose half your attack turns. Of course a godsword is always less powerful than a whip.
  17. My reply on that thread would be what I'd post on this thread. I recommend that you keep the portal rooms, altar/chapel, obelisk/menagerie, entrance garden and mounted glory/quest hall as close to eachother as possible.
  18. Yes it would be sensible to melee them, you can sell sgs/guthans/veracs for bandos and use that (which will increase your damage output everywhere). Ranging is not even (that much) less clicking than meleeing because you have to do a 3-item switch every time you kill the 360 and back. So yeah, improving on sidestepping is definitely worth it.
  19. Dust devils are not worth blocking but you should certainly skip them. FSH is less useful the more of your damage is from your cannon & fixed boosts such as fero. Which in the case of spectres, means not that useful. But it remains the best helmet.
  20. Don't burst! If you have 150m cash you should probably get prayer without lamps as you got the cash anyway, more or less. Summoning is quite a bit slower, not that it takes much time to get charms (as byproduct from slayer) but it just takes time to accumulate, like farming.
  21. I give alternatives even if not asked and also when specifically not asked. I do attach a small note acknowledging they asked not to, but still. You will see that you suggest things people did not think of yet.
  22. The xp lamps might give you access to the Karamja Elite diary which has another set of xp lamps as a reward AND you will be close to the taskmaster emote, which is a nice touch. So in that sense, it can be very much worth getting 86 runecrafting (+5 stew).
  23. I might add that we have a clue scroll guide here and yes, you are allowed to post topics on clue scroll help in Help&Advice :).
  24. Bring a cannon and use your highest base melee dps (hint: whip).
  25. Yes, and for each ash you have to right-click to pick up, drink a summoning pot, withdraw more summoning pots etc. which reduces kills/hr (the ashes update dropped it from 300 to 275, reasonably) You will profit more with summoning potions but they used to be only a few hundred gp per dose.
